Dwarven Sniper Kardel Sharpeye ![]() Attribute Bonus Fire! Sharpnel Take Aim Sniper AspectHi, I know some people like him and think he doesn't need a remake. I disagree. Why? Pros - Biggest attack range of all heroes - High chance to ministun - Strong late-game Not so bad, but ... Cons - Low HP, low base damage - During early game nothing more than food for gankers - Ultimate-only presence in mid game, still not high damage output - Can't do much in late game unless farmed well - No escape mechanism - Boring playstyle (at least for me) - his power comes from auto-attacking So ... here is my idea of new Dwarven Sniper. Remake What this remake contains? - A little tweak to sharpnel, making it more useful for early game - Merging two passive skills into one - Adding (original) escape mechanism. - Replacing finger-of-death-with-big-range ultimate with more sophisticated skill Skills SharpnelHotkey : E - (AOE Target)

Shrapnel, OP in terms of numbers, thats all. Else fine. its a suggestion anyway, numbers don't matter.
Take Aim + Headshot, has always been a good suggestion but also very OP. Flash Dodge, does not fit the Dwarven + Sniper, he's just a pure physical ability/skill hero, he doesn't have any kind of magic. Assassinate, pretty good but not better than the current simple one. You should check out my Overhauls thread, and see how my sniper concept is, and how i achieve the same Assassinate but better.

Flashdogde insanly drops fps and a fatal error occured
.Anyway. I like shrapnel. It's like what it used to be early + current one. Flashdodge doesn't fit him really imo. He needs something against nuker, not DPSer. Merging take aim and headshot is nothing new, but you added it to make room for another spell, without losing one of both and that's fine. I have nothing against merging them as long as it can be balance. Suggested ulti is still awesome ![]() I'm ignoring the numbers in this post.

overall i like it.
sharpnel- it should have overall same damage as old skill. if you want a high initial damage, then reduce the dps afterward. sniper aspect(a dumb name, need to change it)-i perfer if the damage is increase(not sure about the #X stats part) but with a longer cd and more mana cost. that way he will spend time attacking and not spamming his ult. it should be use like his old ult as a opening/harassing, or finishing fleeting enemy. also after he "Fire!" he should automatically be out of the "sinper aspect" mode. and remove the - Missile deal full damage after 800 range. If it hits before 800 range, lesser damage is dealt (starting at 0 dmg for 0 range, linear increase). don't copy enchant plz, and I pretty sure if you get shot at point blank with a gun, it's just as powerful lol.

Ok lets start
Shrapnell, I would prefer lower initial damage, stacking from different pellets, with very very low dps later and slow. Initial damage affects buildings. Flasdodge? A beter name would be disengage. and a description: Vasilij leaps backwards in order to get out of close range combat. throws a flashbang at the point he leaped from. else is pretty good. Good idea on combining headshot and take aim. Sniper aspect. Dumm name, I'd prefer changing the name of the passive to "ready" and using "Aim and fire" for the ult. Anyways, i liked the take aim remake, so i like this too. In the post that you just read, numbers were ignored

Well unlike you I actually like Sniper the way that he currently is. If you think he's boring and you don't like auto attacking as him then just don't play him, simple as that. I don't see the point of this remake, you said it's because that in your opinion Sniper is boring, well that's your opinion. That's like me going and playing Sven, then proposing a remake of his abilities just because I find him boring.
OT: The Shrapnel buff is kinda nice I guess. I don't think that your flashbomb jump ability is very fitting. The merging of the two passives would be okay if you could come up with a fitting ability to take up his new empty ability slot. And I personally like his current ultimate a lot more than this proposed one. T-Down. |

About Ultimate,I don't think a AGI-scaling nuke is good.You see,the item which gives more agi is Ethereal Blade,but you can't turn the enemy to ethereal from far,so ...

hey, i pointed out commits about what i thought could/should change. but only got replied back with the thing about name and enchant-like thing.
just trying to make suggestion as perfect as possible. good presentation help sell the idea. maybe instead of the #X his stats for damage on ult. how about +### damage on top of his attack, kind of how spirit breaker's ult work. should up the manacost/cooldown since i do not want him to have a spammable ult, he should spend most of his time attacking.

Make fire(or whole ultimate) have a large manacost, and increase the damage and range. I'd say 355/505/655 + 2x agi with 1500/2000/2500 range and 375 mana cost and 10-20 cooldown

1st Skill: T-down, no need to remake schrapnel IMO. The current skill is fine.
2nd Skill: Big T-up, this skill is really nice and unique concept, fitting ang synergyzes very well. Good job. 3rd Skill: Not too sure about this, sure it's a good idea but it could become OP easily. Well that's IF job, T-up. Ulti: Good idea, good concept, but i'm not convinced it needs to be remade. T-null on this one. |
