I've added hero introduction, background story and an in-depth explanation of challenges aimed. My entry is almost complete With maybe some balance issues.

Dear friends, you guys are lobbying for reviews a little too much to be doing anything worth doing. If your stuff is good, you wont need to beg for reviews, they will come, sometimes even necro-ed. Spend more time and review, tweaking your heroes based on feedback I and other good reviewers have given in past competitions. (eg CTH16) Dont just get a T-Down, emo, and just go do it all over again in another challenge.

Google translate much?

Anyways, I asked for a review just this instance, obviously because this is my first time EVER to create a hero suggestion, let alone join CTH (I even mentioned that little bit of trivia on my post). So maybe I thought wiseguys like you could cut me a little slack, but I guess not.

I think we all want early reviews to try and improve our heroes. You see, there are some of us who can't make a perfect hero out of nothing, so we need to constatly improve it, and I don't see it that bad that contestants help each other...

Oh, and I forgot:

To Rafiiki -
Thanks for the review back. As you can see, I've reworked my hero and included some of your suggestions. I do disagree with a couple of the things you mentioned. First of all, the synergy with the first two skills is fairly obvious to me. You knockback units with ram, and if they had Trip cast on them, they all become stunned because they pass the range, giving you plenty of time to fight one-on-one. The old ultimate was Tiny's passive? I thought it was a blend of backtrack and new effects, but I changed it anyway. I guess now you could say "Oh it's just like Huskar's passive but defensive" You can say that about any skill though. Nothing will be 100% unique. Everything will have something in common with something else in DOTA. And while I agree that your hero should have a "niche" (which can be a mechanic or unique skill) to build around, I don't think every single skill necesarily has to be built around that one thing.

Finished the numbers for Virgo's skills. Apart from stats she's now pretty much ready. Any feedback would be lovely, I'll return the favour.

Virgo, the Celestial Warden
Scales of Justice
Shouldn't it have an icon like or something?

Anyway, it's okay but I think it needs a bit of a nerf. Maybe use current mp/hp rather than max? or simply lower the numbers?
Neverending Judgement
How is this Support? it only affects Virgo.

Second, I think this needs a nerf too. Maybe just keep the heal a constant 20-25%?

Also, what's with the high casting range? again, it only affects Virgo, who is a melee unit.
Celestial Embrace
An interesting concept.
Parting Gift
Yes, I do believe it is codeable to calculate damage taken by Virgo even when she is protected by Neverending Judgement.
As for stats and stuff, you could just straight out copy Mercurial's stats only with a bit less agility and a bit more intelligence(since your hero is mana intensive) or maybe Phantom Lancer.

Primary Challenge - Taurus (yes, I'm a Taurus myself)
Bonus Challenge 1 - Raigor Stonehoof

Talos represents my zodiac, the Taurus, depicting its immense strength and frame, stubbornness, fickle and normally composed nature but is extremely volatile. His lore and background story hint his eons of slumber, this inanimate state captures Talos' and Taurus' placid aspect but is awoken in the midst of a crisis and so resumes his warmongering. His abilities deal hefty damage, a display of his immense power and he is most often seen charging into battle, knocking obstacles in his way which proves his unstoppable and stubborn nature.

The war golem is the closest unused model I could use to embody Taurus, it appears physically strong and its huge frame and pair of horns further accentuate the beast I am associating it with. The next closest candidate is the Orc Grunt but because orcs display intelligence, this sapient unit is at odds with Taurus' animalistic behavior.

I based Talos from Raigor's style of play, since firstly, both of them are attributed to bovines and the Earthshaker greatly benefits from Veil of Discord which fulfills the next bonus challenge. Veil of Discord is a core item since Talos is a tanker and a nuker at the same time, VoD's bonus armor and Hp regen further mitigate the damage converted thru Cogs of War and the bonus INT provided allow the Brazen Bull to consecutively cast Hulk Smash! and finally, Discord, cuts enemies' magic resistances rendering them defenseless from Talos' barrage of magic damage especially his ultimate, Outrage.

Here's a rundown:

Talos
Raigor
Veil of Discord
VoD's bonus INT encourages the successive use of Hulk Smash! and Discord amplifies the damage dealt
VoD's bonus armor and Hp regen help in the damage mitigation mechanism
VoD's Discord spells destruction to enemies hit by Outrage, the more foes affected - the bigger the damage dealt akin to Echo Slam's concept

Brazen Bull
Talos

Etymology
TalosA bronze construct in Greek mythology
Brazen Bull"Bronze" bull effigy used in executions

Talos in essence is played like Raigor for his last three abilities reflect the latter's own. He is a good initiator with Bull Rush because allies following him are granted zero collision, provided they walk the path he did. Hulk Smash! is Talos' staple and anchor skill, all his other abilities either boost its damage potential or provide a good set up (Bull Rush isolates your target and Outrage kills the lesser creeps to optimize Hulk Smash!'s damage). Cogs of war transform Talos into a mobile tank, soaking and mitigating damage from enemies. Lastly, Outrage gives him "that" destructive AoE ability which works so well when cast in the middle of a big clump of a pushing army and scales to late game, Frenzy also acts as a pseudo-disable.

Lore:
In an age when the world was at its infancy, the elements clashed for dominance over the elemental plane. To impede the ensuing turmoil, the Titans intervened and fashioned the machina to sever the discord. Twelve such constructs, likened to the twelve zodiacs that lit the primordial skies, sprung to action and sealed the elemental warlords into oblivion, ending the conflict. The victorious twelve parted into four groups representing each element to retain balance and sealed themselves away until the drums of war beckon them to rise again. Eons later, one fateful encounter involving a young tauren shaman unearthed an earth machina and so another chapter unfolds..

Background Story:
Fashioned by the Titans from the image of the celestial bull, Talos is a dauntless automaton engineered to wreak havok. He depict the earth's sudden violent outbursts, proving this unpredictable war machine is not to be trifled with for when aggravated, Talos channels his fury into one mighty blow followed up by another should he witness his adversaries succumb to his might. Run by an internal clockwork which tick periodically to mitigate external damage received into lapses and power his legs to shape the landscape in his wake. With Talos, escape is deemed futile, for he will chase you down unhindered so enemies are left with no choice but to raise their arms against him. He managed to establish a shaky allegiance with the Sentinels, courtesy of a young tauren who awakened him from eons of slumber but even so, he got worked up upon learning that the world is once again being rocked by war.

Bull Rush - (Chase/Escape/Displace)
Type: Toggle

Accelerates forward at 120% movespeed, knocking down trees and breaking through impassable terrain, leaving behind a ditch trail. Charge ends when Talos collides with an enemy, hurling it over his head into the air causing the enemy to land behind him.

Fire Soul
What do the (*) and (**) mean? Duration has (*) at 4 and effects has it at 1.
Zodiac set
"Incoming 5 damage source is counted as magic damage" So does it deal magic damage? turn convert the damage taken by the hero into magic damage? What?

"5seconds/6seconds" What?

"Water element:Amplies 14%magic damage" and "Air element:Remove 20% base magic resistance" are redundant.

Also, "• The magic resistance reduction is actually a 6% / 14% / 20% / 26% amplification of magical damage." so "Remove 20% base magic resistance" actually means 26% amplification of magical damage.
Mastery fire
"Increase the power of each skills" but it only increases Fire Soul.

Can't comment. Too many questions about the first 3 skills.
Overall:
Why are you still using "[hero]" when you already have a Leoter as his name? You have a lot of spacing issues in your descriptions. Other than that, I can't really comment because there are too many things I don't understand about his skills.

Yes !!

"5seconds/6seconds" What?
Wrote wrong sorry...3seconds use to search the area while the effects lasts for 6seconds.

OIC...i will change the effects later ....thx ^^

If '(*)' refers to the duration of fire barrier, why does "Trap 1seconds(*)" have a '(*)'?

What do you mean "Yes !!"? Yes, it simply deals magic damage like a DoT spell? Yes, it somehow converts all the damage taken by the hero into magic damage?

And again, why are you still using "[hero]" when you already have a Leoter as his name?

No, I can't comment. Reading your suggestion leaves me confused. I can't tell what his role is suppose to be. I can't see how his skills work in a combo.

Denki:

Model:

Hero Icon:

Stats: Idk why he's agility when he's a spellcaster. But ok whatever.

Damn. I looked at the bstory and I was like: Mind. Fucking. Blown. Good job!

Bolt: Hmm, okay. I see the synergy with celestial sphere. This hero is also very teamfight dependant eh? So if an enemy hero collides with an allied hero, will both get stunned or only the enemy? Damage and knockback scaling look pretty well. Gj

Sphere: Okay, synergy with first skill, since it's a collidable unit. Increase the slow after implosion, it seems a bit weak IMO. Make it scale from 15 or 20%. Can it only implode once or can it implode multiple times? DPS looks ok, gj

Atrocity: Hello, mana-based berserker's blood w/o damage! You should increase the stacks to 9 or something, since he has low damage and attack speed would really contribute. Also, since he's a ganker type hero, he really needs to move faster, since he might be one of the first targets in a teamfight. Other than that, it scales good and it has good synergy with the rest of your spells. gj!

Equinox: I like this skill, it makes your hero even more of a team ganker. good skill. nothing needs to be changed here.

To everyone: Improve your english. I will tell yuo now that Lysander will judge you on that, a bit. Seriously, I see some heroes with improper English. Ask around. We won't bite. It will improve your score if you have better English. Juss sayin.

Work in progress. Still need to add icons/images and clean up the post a little but it's pretty much done skill-wise.

My hero's chosen constellation is Virgo, with a dash of Libra added in.

Having a Night Elf Priestess background, she is related by proxy to both Luna Moon Fang and Miriana Nightshade, the two sentinel heroes that wield the power of Elune.

The Veil of Discord would be a core item for this hero given the fact that she can deal magic damage on a consistent basis from multiple sources. Even though she has her own magic-damage increasing mechanisms, the Veil of Discord would compliment these perfectly either by using them in tandem or serving as an alternative for when they are in cooldown.

The best way to describe the Celestial Guardian would be a "Magic Damage Spam Machine".

Both her direct damage spells deal low damage, have a low manacost and a short cooldown. Her summon, Celestial Maiden, deals magic damage as well. It also has it's own set of abilities that can increase the magical damage inflicted on a target.

All these little sources of magic damage can add up quickly. However, this steady stream of magical damage can become a flood when the Celestial Guardian activates her Ultimate: Celestial Attunement. For its duration, each one of her spells power up each other exponentially with disastrous results for her opponents.

Like many night elves before her, Astraea Nightstar began her training as a young novice at the Temple of the Moon. However, unlike her fellow Sentinel warriors Luna Moonfang and Mirana Nightshade, she chose to focus her studies on the lesser known aspects of the night sky, instead of Elune. Now, armed with the powers of the stars themselves, Astraea is able to join her bretheren in the neverending battle against the Scourge. She can call upon the magic of the constellations to burn away her enemies or take the form of a familiar spirit to aid her in battle. Also, in times of great peril, Astraea can fully attune herself to the power of her patron constellation in order to destroy her opponents under an increasingly powerful barrage of stellar fire.

This is actually the 4th version of this hero.

The original idea I had was a 12 constellation mess with each skill having a "Zodiac Allignment" every time it was used. The "Zodiac Alignment" of each spell would cycle in a pre-determined order so that when you had your spells aligned with the same sign, they would power each other up. Her Ultimate, "Constellation Alignment" would temporarily force all her spells to be of the same sign and stop the sign rotation.

I tried to simplify it by reducing the constellations to the four Mutable ones, but I was still unsatisfied with the results. It felt too clumsy and if it were ever to be implemented, it would've been a nightmare to code.

I was about to give it up and just try to make a non-contest hero, when I decided to give it a try with only one constellation. Virgo, the Maiden, seemed like the most fitting one for a hero with a background as a Night Elf Priestess.

Strangely enough, I had already picked out the name "Astraea" (sounds like "Estrella" which means "Star" in spanish) while unaware of its connection to the Virgo constellation. What are the odds, huh?

At the moment, I feel pretty comfortable with the current concept and skill set. Regardless of if I actually win this competition or somehow get this hero added to the roster (the dream of any contestant of a CTH challenge I figure), Its been fun.

This will be my entry for CTH XVIII.
Hope you enjoy it. =)

As for the bonus challenge, my take is that the hero suggestion will be the sister of Bradwarden, Centaur Warchief. In additional, I've tried to design a skill that has some resemblance to what Bradwarden is using. See Hoof Gallop. =)

In addition, Veil of Discord can be used to enhance damage dealt by Skill 2, which is an AoE nuke.
