[Warcraft 3] 1.24b Warcraft freezes

i need some help with the new version of warcraft. i can't find out what is wrong and i can't find anyone that had the same problem, maybe some people fixed it and didn't bother to report it. up until 1.24b i've been playing normally, no problems. when i've installed 1.24b game opens normally, but when i click to join a game warcraft just frozes. not the frozen throne kind of way. i hear music like normal in the background but nothing happens, and i can't press esc, close the game. i have to restart the computer. i've switched back to 1.24 and it worked normally.

i tryied reinstalling the game, same problem with 1.24b. i tryied deleting customkeys, and anything related to warcraft, used a script deleting program, reinstalled the game again from someone that has a 1.24b working version and still the same problem. i guess the problem is with the computer but i can't find out what it is. hope someone can help me out.

weirdly, the game works in single player. campaign and dota maps. When i play in network place it freezes...

Probably the 1.24b patch you've downloaded was corrupted and it did your wc3 unstable

Could you download the 1.24b patch again?
Have you tried battle.net or garena games?
Could you test both and post the results here?

i downloaded your 1.24b patch, used it and game still didn't worked. i tried connecting to battlenet but it says i am banned.

i can play red alert 3 on garena.

Do this, but do every step! Don't skip them! Also, how do you install your game? By copying it, or installing it from origian CD?

1. Uninstall Warcraft 3
2. Delete folder which is left behind
3. Install Warcraft 3
4. Install Frozen Throne
5. Download official 1.24b here http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/pa...4b_English.exe
6. Apply patch
7. End

did that twice. tried two frozen thrones, the patch you have for download and still doesn't work. now 1.24 doesn't work either.

You blew up something with all those version switchers.

1. Unistall the game
2. DELETE THE FOLDER WHICH IS LEFT BEHIND (example, C:\Warcraft3), Delete it!
Then do this:
1. go to start menu, type Regedit and press enter
2. click on the folder named HKEY_CURRENT_USER
3. click on "software" and you'll find a "blizzard entertainment" folder
4. Delete that folder but first check if only has Warcraft files in it!

After you did all these, then INSTALL the game, DO NOT copy paste from other source! You know, insert CD, enter CD KEY, then when it finises, do the same thing for Frozen Throne.

Then, you should download that patch, and double click it. When the game is patched, just enter Single Player and try one DotA 6.63!

Uninstall Garena.

Delete its folder which is left behind.

Download Garena again, maybe your old Garena instalation is broken.

Install Garena.

Set path correctly.

Play!

What if my warcraft is copypasta?... doesnt seem to work. Its tough for me to get hands on a original.

I believe there's no error msg, it just freezes. Maybe something blocking the access when you try to join.

Don't you have a laptop to test it offline?
