I was lazy too but you should know better then entitling this as if they were mistakes...nope those were intentionally put irregular...they don't have to be regular if you ask me...so you think twice about what should be lvl-ed up first and what shouldn't...btw just look at Viper's Poison attack...it has 4/3/0/0 CD because? because he doesn't need autocast in early phase while he needs it later and this leave you a point free to put in netherotoxin or corrosive skin and you can put on attack later at higher levels where you really need it...or look at Void of Balanar...from 2-->3 he gains 95 damage because? because if you put on void you only gain level 2 hunter until lvl 7...

I support idea of making all abilities grow regularly, but am not that sure about your numbers. For example, Reaper's Scythe damage should scale 0.5/0.7/0.9 instead of 0.4/0.6/0.9 since it's already weak early game and there is no need to make it even weaker. That was just one of the examples (to lazy to go trough all of them).

Abilities dont have to scale linearly, and most of them shouldnt. It is only aestheatic choice. EOT.

There is actually reasoning behind these irregular growths in power and it's as stated by some others to make it so that certain levels you put in an ability will be helpful than the other levels, causing abilities to scale nicer with the gameplay.

Huge t-down. I did not read them all. But from what I did read I came to the conclusion that the OP made those suggestions only to fix those irregularities. Well, you have to think about balance when suggesting and no balance was even considered here. While some heroes got good deserved buffs I don't see why for example Bounty HUnter's Shuriken Toss got a nerf on mana-cost and damage in earlier levels or why Weaver got his orb nerfed.
There are more cases I could post, but I don't find the need to. |
