Default [Remake] Penitence & Test of Faith


Current Penitence is a fairly good damage amplifying ability and it even provides slow. But unfortunately, Chen doesn't have much enough damage output in early games. And Test of Faith, being relatively weak (single target, mere damage and unstable), really isn't worth leveling in most instances. So why not combine the two and make a new ability fits his role better?
Of course, it can be nerfed a bit for balance. Here's the original version to be further balanced.

Penitence
Forces a unit to accept punishment for its sins, causing it to move slower and accept more damage from attacks and spells. At the same time, immediately deals variable damage.

4175246007s32% movement speed reduction, and 28% increased damage taken, and 200-400 damage.

Notes:
  • Bonus damage will always be physical (reduced by armor), regardless of the damage source.
  • Damage type of immediate damage: pure.
  • The amount of immediate damage dealt is random.
  • The immediate damage is dealt before the debuff. It means this part of damage will not be amplified.

Penitence becomes very powerful in early games because it now includes nuke (pure damage), damage amplifying, and slow. So the mana cost is set relatively high to restrict its power. Considering most Chen players choose to jungle, they won't have many chances to use it frequently. To nerf it, maybe lower the immediate damage or change it into magical, and set linearly increasing mana costs.


Test of Faith
Temporarily enhances an allied unit's power to test his faith in sacrifice. When the buff ends if the unit's HP is higher than a certain level, he will get punished.

Notes:
  • The buff gives 25% extra IAS and MS to the target and lasts 5/6/7/8s.
  • When the buff expires (after 5/6/7/8s of casting), it checks the target's current HP to decide whether he is to be punished.
  • The punished unit's IAS and MS are slowed by 25% for 4s.

This is designed as a supporting ability, and it can be associated with his other abilities. For example, to buff a Centaur Khan to chase enemies, and it is heavily damaged so won't be slowed afterwards. If you want to save an allied unit from being slowed in a dangerous position, use Hand of God to heal him or use Holy Persuasion to teleport him back to base. To nerf it, maybe shorten its buff duration or give it a longer cooldown.

Easy t-up. Chen's unknown ATM except in some rare push strats. And no way it's imba in fact hand of god to me still could use a tiny buff as well.
