Cool [REMAKE] Echo Stomp


Despite being the most crucial skill for TC, it is very easy to be cancelled by disabling which makes it depends too much on Ancestral Spirit. Also, this will be decent buff to an underused hero.

Changes are in green


Echo StompAbility Type: Active
Targeting Type: Instant
Ability Hotkey : T

____________________Calls upon the spirit of his ancestors to join him in an earth-shattering echo, rendering nearby foes unconscious. The spirit and Tauren Chieftain both deal 70/80/90/100 damage in the area, the Spirit dealing magical damage and the physical form dealing physical damage. Unconscious enemies will wake if they get hit. If the spirit is separated from you, it will still perform its part of the spell. The duration of the knock out and AoE of the spell depends on how long you channel. 1.4 seconds max channeling time.

Notes:
  • Damage type: magical (spirit), physical (tauren)
  • Minimum AoE is 150 and minimum duration is 0.5 second.

  • Gives more flexibility on using skill beside depending purely on 2nd skill.
  • More reasonable to lvlup because of increasing damage and less increased mana cost.
  • Reduced the duration at later lvl because 5 second knockout is unnecessarily long.

I would prefer that if you had been disabled your spirit will continue casting Echo
That would make the stun more relaible.
Dunno if work tough
Umm... your remake...
Feel a little strange to me since the max knockout would be 4 seconds and Earth Split needs 3 to affect.
With this you would need a perfect time to achieve the whole combo.

Buffed the duration little bit. Though personally I don't think 1 second more would be that hard to execute the combo.

The AoE is constant if you cast until 1.4 seconds which will be same as current.

Let me think for a while:

- 1.4 sec channeling time to react and counter him.

- TC has 1200 range for Ancestral Spirit.

- If 1 sec was passed before I've stunned TC (delay among noticing him, thinking what to do, pressing the hotkey and my hero cast animation + time elapsed to projectile travelling at most cases), am I still 3 seconds knocked out?

Conclusion: this would make him pretty much uncounterble!

Even if that feature was true only about about TC himself (not his AS), the new trend would be buying Dagger for TC (which seems a very strange idea, cuz I think TC is meant to initiate from far).

PS:

The only buff I'd like to see about this would be (though it's pretty strange too):

- If interrupted, Echo Stomp goes into cooldown but it doesn't spend mana.

Why?

- In fact, TC is a caster without good int growth + expensive spells.

- Like someone above said, if it wouldn't go into cooldown when interrupted, TC would catch anyone again.

Correct me if I've understood it wrong.
And, as you may know, it's a positive criticism...not only saying t-down.

Yes, about 3 seconds knockout.

But remember the AoE is reduced as well.
