Top Answer Game (Round 3)

Welcome to PlayDotA's first ever round of the Top Answer Game! It is similar to the popular DotA Lynch Game in the sense that there is a host who supervises the game. I will be your host for this season!

How it works:

For each round, a set of questions will be asked and players will be awarded points based on how popular their answers to the questions were. Hence the name Top Answer Game.

For example:

1. Name a movie that was released in 2011.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (14 people answer this)
X-Men: First Class (9 people answer this)
Super 8 (4 people answer this)
Thor (2 people answer this)
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2 people answer this)
Green Lantern (1 person answers this)

In this instance, the 14 people who answered Harry Potter get 14 points for the round, 9 points to those who answered X-Men, 4 to those who answered Super 8, and so on, and the coolest part is that the answer doesn't have to be correct! It is a matter of which is most popular.

I will keep two sets of charts for each round both based on the points each player earns. One will be the leaderboard for that particular round with players who played on that round, and the other will be an overall tally of all rounds past with all players who have played overall.

Every season, there will be 10 rounds and 10 questions per round. All questions will be posted in the thread as well as PM'd to all players who've registered. All answers must be sent to me in a PM by the time of the deadline. Please DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS HERE! Also I would appreciate it if you all kept your answers to yourself and answer with dignity.

Lastly, you may register for the game whenever you please~ If you fail to send in your answers before the deadline, you will miss out on points you could have earned. Try your best to send in answers and always try to predict which answers will be most popular!

Oh I forgot about that. People can submit their own questions, but there will still be 10 questions per round. I hope that's okay. There will be something like an asterisk by the question each round that denotes that it is user-submitted.

Nothing. I just urge players to be completely honest and have dignity when answering because there is absolutely no mechanism that will work to protect against people communicating to decide answers. I know and hope everyone will abide.

You have to answer all questions but it doesn't really matter what you answer. Any answer will give you a point no matter how unrelated and incorrect, but always try to predict which answer will be most popular to maximize chances of getting the most points!
