Default [SENT-STR]Mandevar, Titan of the Order

Titan of the Order
Mandevar

Intro here

A legend from the early days of the War; Mandevar killed many of the Scourge's greatest warriors, often against impossible odds. Unfortunately he was finally struck down in the last battle of those days. His parts were collected by the Sentinel to try to rebuild, however, they did not possess the skill with which to rebuild him. Until Boush came along, that is. Now once again, Mandevar rages into the midst of the enemy; his mechanical might unmatched, his metal body virtually impenetrable.

Strength: 34 + [3]
Agility: 13 + [1.2]
Intelligence: 16 + [1]

Affiliation:Sentinel
Damage:58-65
Armor:1
Movespeed:270
Starting HP/MP:796/208
Attack Range:128 (melee)

Pummel
Type: Active
Targeting: Target
Hotkey: E
Using his giant fist, the Titan smashes the targeted unit to deal the target damage and splash damage to surrounding units.

LvlManaCooldownRangeAoEDurationEffects
111010 seconds150285N/Adeals 25+25% str target damage, 10+25% str splash damage
212010 seconds150295N/Adeals 50+35% str target damage, 25+35% str splash damage

414010 seconds150315N/Adeals 100+55% str target damage, 125+55% str splash damage

Notes:
  • Splash damage affects main target.

Bullrush
Type: Active
Targeting: Aoe
Hotkey: R
Gears grinding in protest, Mandevar charges towards his enemies at an incredible speed. Due to the Titan's magnetic nature, any nearby enemies will be dragged along. Upon reaching his destination, Mandevar slams the ground, dealing damage and stunning depending on how many enemies are nearby.

LvlManaCooldownRangeAoEDurationEffects
112015 seconds400175*/315**.25 second stun + .25 per enemyMandevar runs at current ms +40, deals 145 damage upon reaching destination
213015 seconds500175*/315**.50 second stun + .25 per enemyMandevar runs at current ms +60, deals 185 damage upon reaching destination
314015 seconds600175*/315**.75 second stun + .25 per enemyMandevar runs at current ms +80, deals 205 damage upon reaching destination
415015 seconds700175*/315**1 second stun + .25 per enemyMandevar runs at current ms +100, deals 225 damage upon reaching destination

Notes:
  • Spell uses triggered movement, so Mandevar can move over 522 ms with this spell.
  • (*)Unit grab aoe.
  • (**)Damage/stun/stun count aoe.
  • Units grabbed will get dragged 150/200/250/300 units.

Resonate
Type: Passive
Targeting: Aoe
Hotkey: N
Whenever the Titan is damaged, his armor resonates sending minor damage in a small area around him.

LvlManaCooldownRangeAoEDurationEffects
1N/AN/AN/A500N/A8
2N/AN/AN/A500N/A15
3N/AN/AN/A500N/A22
4N/AN/AN/A500N/A29

Notes:
  • Damage type is pure.
  • Resonate deals damage whenever ANY damage is taken.

Tremorsteps
Type: Passive/Toggle
Targeting: Aoe
Hotkey: T
The Titan's massive steps cause violent tremors that, when combined with his unknown magnetic capabilities, can cause enemies to be moved either towards him or away from him. When Mandevar casts a spell or moves a certain number of units, all nearby enemies will be moved depending on how the spell is toggled.

LvlManaCooldownRangeAoEDurationEffects
1N/A5 secondsN/A7000.8 seconds/0.7 secondsEvery spell cast moves nearby enemies 200 units, every 800 units traveled moves nearby enemies 100 units
2N/A5 secondsN.A8000.9 seconds/0.7 secondsEvery spell cast moves nearby enemies 300 units, every 600 units traveled moves nearby enemies 100 units
3N/A5 secondsN/A9001 second/0.7 secondsEvery spell cast moves nearby enemies 400 units, every 400 units traveled moves nearby enemies 100 units

Notes:
  • Toggling this skill reverses the direction that enemies get moved. if toggled "on" they will move towards the titan as described. if toggled "off" they will move away from him as described.
  • Based on the distance the affected unit moves, it takes 0.7/0.8/0.9/1 second to move the full distance.
  • Does not break channeling and does not prevent any action besides movement.
  • The cooldown is only for toggling between "on" and "off".
  • Toggling this skill does not make units move.
  • Unlocks subskill: Magnetism
Magnetism
Type: Active
Targeting: Aoe
Hotkey: G
The Titan applies his magnetic force directly to an area, causing all within to have trouble moving in certain directions.

LvlManaCooldownRangeAoEDurationEffects
17515 seconds5002503 secondsSlows enemies by 30% if they move either away or towards the Titan based on how Tremorsteps is toggled
210012 seconds5002754 secondsSlows enemies by 30% if they move either away or towards the Titan based on how Tremorsteps is toggled
31259 seconds5003005 secondsSlows enemies by 30% if they move either away or towards the Titan based on how Tremorsteps is toggled

Notes:
  • If tremorsteps is toggled "on" they will be slowed if they try to run away from Mandevar. If tremorsteps is toggled "off" they will be slowed if they try to run towards Mandevar. They will not be slowed otherwise.

Pummel - nothing to say, classic titan and it fits

Bullrush - a little too much like mag's skewer? Though I suppose the unlimited units and target make it different enough. Obviously this is his most important spell besides the ultimate. Maybe it isn't necessary for him to run forward, maybe it should be a straight blink with increasing cast range (600/700/800/900) that picks up anyone that was in that path.

Resonate - kind of like dispersion but with a defined, pure damage. seems like it could get really powerful with a lot of creeps around or against low dmg / high attack speed heroes.

Tremorsteps - I like it, force everyone into the aoe of resonate and set up bullrush / pummel.
There may be a few problems, such as only having 2 spells to cast. If he has to cast those to bring them in, then they'll be on cooldown when he wants them the most - maybe the walking should bring them closer.
The other issue is that if you are trying to run away, you'll be pulling in enemies and helping them catch up? maybe not an issue depending on how it pulls them, but this could be solved by making the skill toggleable

overall, i like this hero because it is simple yet effective, something most new heroes seem to be lacking.

Ahhh, brings back good old memories when I was a kid.

First hero I actually used.

A small review dedicated to you!
1st Skill: Now I understand why his STR is so high. Good Skill and synergies could be found with other skills.
2nd Skill: To make it an even better challenge, why not make it non-targetable? It could add more thrill to his gameplay, but, neat skill.
3rd Skill: Somewhat like Spec's Dispersion. Only with a set amount of damage, right?
Ulti: Like the concept, so you gain some form of "charges" for every spell cast and every x unis traveled?

Also, please change the "mysterious" parts in the skills, it's sounding too much like magnus

That's All!

damn internet keeps on making me double post

love the toggle with ult
sub-skill seems good as well, not too powerful by any means and really useful for getting closer as it is a spell and pulls them in, makes it so you don't have to use your damaging spells too early.

still conflicted about how bloodrush works
and also possibly think resonate might be too powerful

Okay, a few things:

1st is like Lich's Frost Nova, only with some numbers tweaking. It seems really weak at first place, with that mana cost and that damage. Not very original actually.

2nd instantly reminded me of Magnu's Skill. It's too similar and you don't use the positioning for initating or anything so this one's a no-no.

3rd... The only real trouble this hero brings is his ultimate, I guess... and you won't be focused too much because I really don't see him as such a threat.

Ulti is kind of cool, but anti-synergetic also. You see, if you toggle to push enemies away and use 2nd... The skill will fail miserably... There's good potential on this skill but you should play with positioning just a bit more.
