Default DotA 2 Options

Hello everyone.
I have played some games in beta dota2 and my question is:
Is there any chance to lower graphic? I have evrything turned off but ofc most of these options dont works yet, but there might be something ( code or dunno ) to write somewhere to lower graphics? My PC is a little old ~~ going to his 6 birthday soon. Max fps that i get is 25 sometimes 30 when there is nothing on map ofc . In battles going down to 10/15 it makes hard to target someone.
Any1 have a clue how i can lower graphic details?

My PC:
Athlon 64 3500+
GeForce 7800GT
1,5GB RAM DDR1

I have defragmented my HDD alrdy

you'll can play dota 2 with your pc

no problems.

but, I suppose you have to increase your memory ram
and the graphics in low quality or medium quality.

I'm not an expert but you could buy a much better ram for a really low price which could solve some of your issue.

vertical sync, resolution, shadows, and anti-aliasing are one of the most resource-consuming things in the game atm, disable/downgrade them.
if you already did that, try asking on the dev forums, perhaps there is a console command that could help you.
If everything else fails, you should give your key away : P

My laptop is 8 years old, and even dota 1 gives me a crappy fps in clashes. Now, I don't think I want a beta key anymore

If you upgrade your graphic card and memory, you can run with 30+ stable FPS in the retail(the game is not optimized for old pcs now).
The problem is not overheating? My FPS is stable in teamfights.

DotA 2 should be fine with your system config, RAM upgrade to 2 GB DDR3 will make it a lot better.

I wish i could play it, have a wonderful system :|

I doubt that motherboard which supports DDR1 would support DDR3. Also if its playable for u now retail should go even smoother
