Default [Int - Sent] Shemninza, Druid of the Talon


Well, this just popped out in my mind out of nowhere. Comment if you think this needs some improvement.




Name: Shemninza
Hero: Druid of the Talon
Affiliation: Sentinel
Sound: Druid of the Talon


(Things to mention first: It's model is slightly larger than those creeps. Kinda like the ratio of Naix to the normal ghoul. Well, his name sounds a little Japanese to me. [Ninja, remember? ] The thing is it just suddenly occurred to me: If there's Great Fortitude and Marksmanship, why can't there be a skill which adds int? So I came up with this. It took me a little while to come up with other suitable skills to combo with it. And also I thought this guy could be some kind of roamer or ganker Meanwhile just ignore the animation because my skills didn't let him to turn into a crow )


Background story

Shemninza woke up along with the other fellow druids under Furion's call. However, unlike other fellows who only know how to cast their own skills, Shemninza could actually draw energy from his long sleep, blasting it towards his enemies to create a destructive force. He could also summon his fellow druids to help attack enemies. Despite this, he never forgets how to cast magic fires onto enemies like his other fellow druids. His extraordinary powers proved that he stands out among the druids, fighting as one of the Sentinel's proud elites in battle.

(Well, if you know the Warcraft storyline you should know that the druids did have a long slumber before Furion woke them up. If you can, try linking some of these lines with my skills XD)

(He's an int hero. Guess you should know the stats of an average int hero, eh? By the way, The Druid of the Talon projectile is too insignificant. The Faerie Dragon's one is a better choice.)

*Words in bold needs to be paid attention.
*Underlined letters are shortcut keys of skills (you may need to look closely to find it).



1st skill:



Dream Wave (A)

Targeting type: Point
CD: 12
MP: 90, 110, 130, 150
Range: 700

Shemninza pulls out an energy from his long slumber and shoots it out to enemies in a line. Enemies take damage proportionate to their armor and are slowed.

LVL1) 6*|10-(enemy's armor)| pure damage, 9% slow
LVL2) 9*|15-(enemy's armor)| pure damage, 15% slow
LVL3) 12*|20-(enemy's armor)| pure damage, 21% slow
LVL4) 15*|25-(enemy's armor)| pure damage, 27% slow

Note:
-Min damage: 75; Max damage: 400
-Animation has 700 range and 300 width

(One of his useful ganking tools, it can rape people with low [or ridicuously high] armor with pure damage and you still got the slow to rock them more!!!! Notice that armor counting is of absolute value. So let's say if enemy's armor is around 35, Shemninza uses lvl4 Dream Wave to hit him, it will deal 15*|25-35| pure damage, which is around 150 pure damage.)



2nd skill:



Brothers of Druid (A)

Targeting type: Point
CD: 15
MP: 130
Range: 1100

Shemninza summons his druid brothers to attack enemies. The eight druids hold on at a targeted point. After some time, the druids spread in 8 directions, each dealing damage proportionate to Shemninza's intelligence and stun to the first enemy in contact and nearby enemies.

LVL1) Hold for 3 seconds, spreads out 500 range, deals 3*Int damage and 1.4 sec stun each
LVL2) Hold for 3 seconds, spreads out 600 range, deals 4*Int damage and 1.5 sec stun each
LVL3) Hold for 2 seconds, spreads out 700 range, deals 5*Int damage and 1.6 sec stun each
LVL4) Hold for 1 second, spreads out 800 range, deals 6*Int damage and 1.7 sec stun each

Note:
-Each druid has a 100 unit size but not considered a unit.
-Collision AoE: 200
-Does not deal effect when still; invisible while still and cannot be revealed by True Sight
-500 damage limit

(The concept of this skill is sort of like Torrent or Powershot etc. This can be used as a skill to finish off enemies, provided you have a pro aiming skill. Which 8 directions? I can only say depends on his casting direction.)


3rd skill:



Faerie Fire (A)

Targeting type: AoE (300)
CD: 14
MP: 90
Range: 600

Shemninza casts a magical fire on an area, reducing enemies' armor for 10 seconds.

LVL1) -2 armor
LVL2) -3 armor
LVL3) -4 armor
LVL4) -5 armor

(You realised this combos well with Dream Wave? You bet!!! It IS meant to combo with Dream Wave. Besides it can help your team DPSers real well. Just that I don't really wanna make it like Amplify Damage.)



Ultimate:



Mark of the Talon (P)

Shemninza stands out among his fellow druids, providing him with an intelligence boost.

LVL1) +16 int
LVL2) +32 int
LVL3) +48 int

(Yup. Mark of the Talon. His only passive skill and a stat-increasing ultimate like Traxex and Cent. His second skill needs some intelligence, and this skill got this covered.)



Synergy 1

Faerie Fire + Dream Wave

Reducing enemies' armor before casting the dream wave can actually rape them with more damage.



Synergy 2

Mark of the Talon + Brothers of Druid

You will need some intelligence for your fellows to rape them even more. Your mark should get that covered.



Synergy 3

Synergy 1 + Brothers of Druid

Rape them until they have little strength to move, and call your fellow brothers to gang bang them. Perfect in team fights.



Summary

I only came out with this summary after I received a few feedbacks. I took some of them and changed my hero little. To me, the real interesting thing is that the damage of his skills (those 2 skills) depends on enemies' armor and his current intelligence. He merely has 2 damaging skills and like some other heroes, those skills need to be strategically used to execute its greatest effect. Furthermore, I did say I would come up with a passive int-adding ulti right? I did. I made it to combo with the 2nd skill. And next I thought druids-of-the-talon in W3 have Faerie Fire, so I brought it here, and, after receiving some feedbacks, changed it a little. And I created Dream Wave to combo with this. So these ideas basically came out in this sequence:

Mark of the Talon (after thinking of a int-adding ultimate)
-> Faerie Fire (after deciding to use DOTT as the model)
-> Brothers of Druid (after realising DOTTs always say "For my brothers..." and thinking of a skill to combo with ulti)
-> Dream Wave (after studying the story of these DOTT in Warcraft and think that Faerie Fire needs some combo as well)

A Imagem do Mago dos Creeps da Sentinel,Imagem do passaro como um Mensageiro Alado,e aImagem de Humado do Furion,apenas isso deveria ser mudada,a imagem do Furion,pois o resto esta bom até,gostei muito deste pois ele pode ele mesmo virar um passaro e vo mais rapido acima das arvores como um mensageiro alado.

you do realize that your third skill does the exact thing as slardars ulti, right?
You do realize there's a reason that it is an ulti, right?

also 2nd skill with vacum/polaruty = 48*INT to all the poor guys. With an easy 100 INT, it is 4800 dmg 0o
1rst skill is a bit silly. If it does more dmg on low armor = physical dmg. I know it doesnt scale the same but it would be waaaay more interesting the other way around
3rd skill IS slardar ulti ahahahah that is THE LESS interesting suggestion i ever read sry... i know it is the skill from ladder but wtf why couldnt you change one effect ?
Ultimate is the only one I like, even if everybody think it is boring, but anyway your numbers are overpowered.

well i changed 3rd skill a bit and set a damage limit for 2nd skill. better?
@Subotai about first skill, my answer is: NO. This spell has nothing to do with physical damage. The code is that it identifies enemies' armor and deals damage according to it

Armor-checking is impossible in wc3 engine, thus 1st skill cannot be coded.
2nd skill is kinda... weird. Also, if well aimed (enemy in the exact center point) i can give 500*8 = 4000 magical damage, in a normal skill. Kinda op.
3rd skill is one of talon's signature skills in ladder, kinda fits and with that scaling it's not that op. Can make him a good counterpick against tanks and inv heroes.
Ultimate's is a thing that a would like to see on a hero, to complete str-agi-int simple bonus ult

Overall: T-down as he is now, need some tweaks here and there. Also, IMO the Druid of the Talon should become a crow. It's a waste of a very nice template =(
