Default Allow Pudge to turn of Rot when silenced

As the title say. Allow Pudge to turn of rot when silenced, but not turn it on again. It annoys me that a Pudge can't really use rot when soloing mid vs Bloodseeker, because of the risk of being silenced. I can't see the reason to have such a harsh counter to Pudge, that is rather unreliable.

Problem = Usage of skills when silenced.
Solution = Allow usage of all skills even when silenced.

No.

Problem = Usage of Dagger.
Solution = Allow usage of Dagger by Pudge and Venge.

Rot is nearly unique in the amount of damage it deals to Pudge himself.

T-Up. A simple silence shouldn't deal so much damage.

Wow never thought of it that way, that's really something.

Make it also usable for so he won't screw up too, so he doesn't blow themselves up, and so he won't be a walking guy that can't joggle his balls.

Been like this for a long time. As a vivid Pudge player myself.

^ Do you think that it is a good counter? Pudge manages to hook and kill Bloodseeker at lets say lvl 5. But right before he dies he manages to silence Pudge and gets the kill with dot (usually Pudge suicides). Just the fact that he sometimes suicides and sometimes dies due to dot is lame.

Happened to me lots of times. Of course in this scenario hooking a bloodseeker wherein you failed killing him in one combo was your biggest mistake, and so does it apply when you face off other heroes with other forms of silence.

Except the first one has effects outside of yourself AND doesn't drain SHITASSTONS of HP per second. The second has much more range and isn't a toggle AND DOESN'T DAMAGE YOU IF SUCCESSFULLY TOSSED.

So tell me, why do BURNING SPEARS not give you a Wand charge? Why does OD's ARCANE AURA not trigger on 0 cooldown ultimates [SS, Scepted Pugna]? Why does ROT not dispel CURSE OF THE SILENT?

BALANCE, THAT'S WHY.

Maybe this... when pudge is silenced, rot automatically turns off...

Agreed.

Fun facts:

Rot doesn't deactivate CotS.
Rot doesn't damage while Pudge is invisible.
Rot doesn't activate Arcane Aura.

So why is it treated so unfairly with regards to silence?

True, but still similar in some way. And the third?

As for why Rot doesn't dispel , you can go to the Advanced Mechanics - DotA Forums and ask for why, but that's way off topic.

Balance? There already is balance by having counters, you chose to fight a enemy with silence/disables with Pudge(knowing you will need Rot)

So lets balance it out by not having them a way to fight you back? Well ok.

Now this seems more appealing.

It's because IF especially coded it to be an exception to the spells that activate CotS.

Balance.

This one is a bug.

OT: Don't pick Pudge when your enemy has silencing skills <.<

T-down, because I love to see an enemy rage because of this.

So don't pick pudge when there's a huge counter to him.... every hero must have a counter, and it's you own risk when you decide to pick pudge knowing there would be a bloodseeker going up against you.

Rot is based on Immolation. Immolation doesn't damage when the caster is invisible. It's hardcoded, though easily fixable.
