Stasis takes rouphly 5 seconds to land. (cast time, and the various delays it brings) so if you can land the first stasis, you can quite easily land the second one. Unforunately not a third, since the CD :P

It's one of the various reasons why he's a beast lategame.

Techs imo is far the most useful heroes that hasn't been utilized much because they are much better picks.. But, in what you're saying. You saying techies is a low-tier hero because he's not picked in tournaments? Does a hero needed to be played in tournaments to be top-tier? I think not. SS probably never played techies. Even if he did, it was probably one of those that spend the first 15 minutes planting landmines at sideshops and runespots, get 2 kills, then proceed to sparta into groups of enemies with suicide. Then ends up being 5-6 levels below the enemies.

he is low-tier along with gondar/phoenux and other heroes simply because he isn't balanced/made well. No I have played techies and suicide is okay for the first 10 minutes then you just have to play defensively for your carries, I get that concept.

FYI: Techies IS a carry. He is a HARD carry. To say that suicide is okay EVER is proof that you don't know what you're talking about. Suicide is not supposed to be used to get a single kill. There isn't any point in it: You die, you kill the enemy, but you only gain 25% exp. Furthermore, you lose gold. And the icing on the cake - If there are enemies nearby they gain full experience from your death.

I have many replays on here where the enemy team members never killed me. My suicide count rarely EVER goes above 5, with many games having not more than one or two. Techies is a strategic hero. You have to use him in a very unorthodox manner to be effective, which is what myself and most other proficient techies players do. Anyone will plant mines near their towers: totally predictable. You are supposed to utilize fog, not just planting in blind spots, but up front in lanes out of their sight range where they don't expect it. You have to study the creep pathing to place stasis traps/mines where creeps don't go but heroes often do. If you can't be bothered, fine. Don't talk smack when others can do what you can't.

When you don't have the creativity to play techies in an offensive manner, you go and bash the hero. You know what a bad carpenter does? He blames his tools. Every hero in DotA can be seen as a unique tool. Some people know how to use them, others don't. Every hero in the game has strengths and weaknesses. To say that a hero is inherently bad is ignorant, and it shows in your weak replies.
