but how the map size is 7.13mb when the icons are imported? did he removed the loading screen?

IF said that he can compress the shit out of the map so the space isn't a real issue so far.

well , icons are imported obviously , and i dont know shit about coding , but couldnt he like ... swap them? icons are icons , difference is size should be almost unexistent , so if he found a way to remove old icons and import new ones ...
just a wild guess tho.

Nah, it doesn't work that way. Icons aren't stored in the map itself, only imported ones are. But the thing is, original map stores them (and the loadscreen btw) in a format that isn't "compact" in any way. As I've said, even IF himself don't see problems with map space.

OT: Is it compatible with original map? AFAIK, it's possible.

Very nice. Although the icons have a huge contrast to the WC3 design, its a great effort nonetheless.

It has only limited skill DotA 2 icons so you can play with it thou..
just like Nevermore, Venom, Traxex Vengeful Spirit etc,etc...
and the others I Don't Know..

Yeah, it's really good. I have a few friends with beta keys but they don't play cause they can't make about the items and stuff.
I made them download this so they HAVE TO get used to it
