The Icy Tower Competition

Imo Icy Tower is one of the best games(minigames) ever made...

This threat is for making a little competition about this game.
The principle is easy:

You post a high-score and i WILL beat it...(Always attach the replay)
Game Version is Icy Tower 1.4 classic mode.

There are 3 disciplines in which you can participate:

-High-score
-Best combo(Often goes together with high-score)
-Highest florr (not my best discipline)

I hope someone will play with me..

Current Records:

Highest Score: 31930 (dotapaz)
Best Combo: 160 (dotapaz)
Highest floor: 364 (dotapaz)

Maaan i used to play this a loooong time ago xD. Its on one of my retro gaming CD-s from my old PC. Cool game. I'll download 1.4, and you can expect some challenges (though i wont be too good at it

)

Edit: Don't worry about windows 7, I only said its old because I played the earlier versions, 1.4 is a 2009 release/remake.

Hmmm, although with minor probs, seems that its working. My suggestion is: custom mode, insane speed, helium mode... How far up can you get?

We can add some custom records to the competition....

Lets get started and get some people to join us first. Classic mode is still the skill mode...

Yeah, but this is a fun custom mode... Its actually pretty hard, try it in 1.4

Well i dont care about the floor so much, but what you say make me believe that noone will place one that can beat mine... I am curious what the first replay says...

this is going to be a blamage, but im to stupid to understand this game -.-

If you run and jump, you can jump very high.

But sometimes after a high jump, he keeps on jumping, with stars around him.
Sometimes he just stops dead.
So whats the trick to keep him "star-jumping"?
Couldnt find an explanation anywhere -.-

As every good game does, it has a forum and a wiki.
These two explain in short what the game is about.
Basically the faster you go, the higher you jump. If you hold the jump button you do a rejump as soon as you land. The star's appear if you jump when you are running at a high speed, at speed higher than normal running. To get a starry (cartwheel) jump you need to rejump a second time after landing on a platform at high speed, or bounce off a wall and jump of the platform you land on. If you don't keep moving, you will lose speed and come to a dead stop.

Ok i posted afirst replay now the get some competition started...

I belive it is quite easy to beat and i dont want to show my full potential yet

I gtta add that I am struggling doing my really good scores as i used to do them a couple of years ago... I hope its not the age ^^ and that i will be able to compete on high lvls with you guys
