Default [Ultimate] Time Warp


Wow... first time posting in the Abilities section! Generally I restrict myself to heroes, but I couldn't find the other right spells for the hero... So... Here goes!
Time Warp
Skill Type:Active
Cast Type:Instant
Hotkey:A/D
A master of time, HeroName has the ability to speed it up or slow it down at will. Gives two subabilities: Accelerate and Decelerate

Accelerate
Skill Type:Active
Cast Type:Instant
Hotkey:C
Accelerates the speed of the world, granting bonus move speed and attack speed to every unit on the map

Notes
  • Affects Lane Creeps and Neutrals Creeps but does not affect Ancient Creeps or Roshan
  • Goes through magic immunity
  • Activating Accelerate while Decelerate is active will cause all heroes to return to normal speed for the time that both Accelerate and Decelerate is active and then speed up for the remainder of Accelerate's duration. Vice Versa.
  • The MS and AS bonus or reduction is a global aura that originates from the hero: thus if the hero dies, the effects end.
  • Aura would count as a tier I ultimate: going through normal spells but would not go through other tier one spells (ultimates) e.g. storms ulti would not be slowed.
  • DoT from radiance would remain constant/Timed Spells like Chronosphere and Black Hole remain constant
  • Does not affect towers.
  • Units cannot go above max MS or AS.



I feel like there will be some people out there who will call this skill useless or situational. I strongly (and preemptively) disagree to that by pointing out the things that do NOT get affected by this speed change:
  • Tower Attack Speed
  • Roshan Attack Speed
  • Respawn Timer
  • Spell Cooldown
  • Heroes who already have maxed out AS or MS
  • Reaction time
Thus Decelerate indirectly buffs casters while Accelerate indirectly nerfs casters. If there is a troll warlord/windrunner on the other team, or if you have a tiny on your team, they will greatly benefit from this spell. During a push while one or more heroes are on respawn: Decelerate will slow down the push, Accelerate will speed it up. While taking down Roshan, this spell is not recommended but can help you. If you are ganking a hero without stuns or with high cd stuns then Accelerate can help (gives a speed surprise factor). If you are ganking a hero with low cd stuns then Decelerate can help (spells cool down relatively faster).




Numbers may need tweaking, but please review!

Interesting idea actually. Could be devastating when used correctly ofc.
Might want to nerf duration though. 6.5 for such a versatile skill with two independent deadly global-range effects might be too good. But support on idea

2nd skill of this hero. It accelerates/decelerates by 40/60/80/100% day/night cycle using 4/6/8/10 mp/sec

Also passively grants you 40% movement speed during day or 40% attack speed during night (this can vary depending of the hero :P)

I think i can come up with an awesome hero to fill the rest of the skills up

I like it t-up.

Very interesting idea, but sounds like it's extremely hard to use. The cooldown can be lower. It's a very fair skill that effects both teams, so I think it's fair to be able to use this more often. Decelerate spell should still work with heroes with maxed out AS or MS (i'm sure you meant this, just didn't write it clearly)

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant it does not affect heroes such as storm spirit and barathrum whose spells are hard coded to be unable to be slowed... not sure how it would affect lycan/windrunner though... someone more into mech than me can tell me please?
Lowered the cd to 100/75/50...

Uncodeable, as you can't calculate AS, so you can't double it or halve it.

Skill itself:
It will have its uses, even though they are very limited. The only way to effectively utilize this skill will be to count on the limitations to give more bonuses to certain heroes while not being so great on others. This requires awesome timing and use of situations. Which makes this skill unworthy, even though its original.

I am so confused. Doesn't Troll's ultimate increase the AS of every hero on the map by 100% at lvl 2? wouldn't that be the same as "doubling the AS"?
Also I admit that this skill has no real usages if each team plays perfectly: perfect reactions. I feel that doubling the speed of the game would in effect shorten the reaction time needed. Also things like towers and respawn time will not be affected therefore making the most use of the pushing time. Am I not correct there? If not then how can I improve the skill?
