With such mastery over the three elements of Fire, Frost, and Electricity, she is able to combine these elements and conjure a multitude of spells. She can summon her burning trusty companions, the Rapidash minions to do her bidding. Cast an amazing invocation to hasten and empower an allied offense. Chill her enemy with a devastating brain freeze. Fire a horrifying hurricane that sends enemies flying. Deliver a freshly heaten meteor from outer space to crush all who oppose her. Create a shocking electromagnetic pulse to disrupt opposing enemies' magic. Manipulate the very Sun's energy itself to strike far away enemies. Make a wide wall of frost in front of her slowing all those who try to harm her. Turn invisible and slow nearby adversaries when in her presence. And finally, there is her most ultimate invocation that she has ever discovered. By using the Harmony of Fire, Frost, and Electricity, she is able to launch a powerful arcane blast that blows away enemies and suspend their capability to attack thus making them completely useless and at her mercy. This is Twilight Sparkle, the holder of the very element known as Magic.
Working the family business of bucking apples all alone everyday since her childhood, Applejack has grown in to a mighty strong mare. Now these days, harvesting all the apples in her family's huge farm is just a daily workout for her. Being a hard-worker, she trained and improved her battle capabilities as a prevention to any harm that could menace her family and farm like the Timberwolves during zap apple season. Her ability to kick with her backhooves is truly amazing. Using a heavy horseshoe instead of an apple as a projectile, she is able to hit enemies far away with deadly precision, piercing and destroying all trees in it's path. With her lasso, she is able to shackle any enemy to a tree or to another foe putting them at her mercy. True in her namesake, she's able to move very quickly and evade any incoming physical attacks. She is so quick that enemies are left gasping for air as they eat her dust. And in case quality doesn't cut it against a foe, she's able to kick tons of apples towards a single enemy, dealing less damage at very fast speeds. With her prowess and ability to defeat any foe, she swore to never let any kind of monstrosity harm her family, and if needed, she will chase those monstrous forces to their source and shatter them into pieces.
For an eternity, a mystical and beautiful creature lived in the realm of Equestria. Charming and seducing, Rarity the Queen of Pain wooed fellow warriors who crossed her path and in some cases, she tortured them. Even the powerful Dragon Knight fell for her beauty. Like any Queen of royalty, she is never alone. Accompanied by her fierce persian cat Opalescence, Rarity boldly goes in to a fight knowing she'll be victorious. The poison that lies in it's claws is known to take an ursa minor down without a single problem. Despite her delicate looks, the Queen of Pain is also very versatile in combat. With her wings that were crafted by Twilight Sparkle, The Invoker, Rarity is able to move in and out from combat within a blink of an eye. Not only can her voice seduce opposing warriors, it can be utilized to break their eardrums instead. Her voice of agony can make even the strongest of men let their guard down. Some of her screams are so loud, that it travels in the form of sonic waves and destroys any and all adversaries in it's path.
"Pinkie Pie", the essence of Party and Happiness may look like a cheerful pony like any other, but in reality she has lived a bitter life. In her childhood, Pinkamena wasn't the very cheerful pony like she is now these days. Back then, the only pony who could make her smile was her grandmother. Such happiness and life lessons that couldn't be given by anyone else, young Pinkamena's love for her Grandmother can't be expressed by any mere word. But every pony knew that nothing lasts forever. Pinkamena's Grandmother suddenly passed away. Young Pinkamena was in shock and felt that she had nowhere to go. But like all living creatures that exist on this Earth, life continued on. Due to the constant painful memories of her time with her grandmother, young Pinkamena decided to move out from her house. Filled with sadness she pressed on until on one faithful night, in one of her dreams she was met by her Granny and the Goddess of Happiness. In her dream, the Goddess of Happiness spoke to her :
"Pinkamena, please don't be sad anymore. Just laugh it up and stay cheerful! Your Granny is very happy here in the Afterlife, however every time you shed a tear, it just makes her feel sad and regretful of her death. So don't cry, always stay smiling and I'm sure you will find the secret to achieve eternal happiness."
Suddenly, Pinkamena woke up. Realizing that she shouldn't be sad anymore for the sake of not just herself but for her grandmother as well, she begins a new journey to find out the secret for Eternal Happiness.
In all of Equestria there is none more beautiful than the pony of kindness known as Fluttershy. Her beauty was so magnificent that even the pony Photo Finish, an expert of fashion took a great liking to her. Despite her delicate and timid looks, she has also proven to be a tough pony that even the great Iron Will, backed down from her when she stood her ground against him. Flying like a butterfly and stinging like a bee, Fluttershy is the go-to pony when in need. One day while she was shopping in Ponyville, her cutie mark suddenly evolved into a beauty mark. Unable to control her new-found destiny, her mark went haywire and all those who gazed at her became under a hypnotic trance that left them motionless. Afraid that the same thing might happen when she was a famous star, Fluttershy flew away in to the one place she knew no pony would dare be, the Everfree Forest. Swallowing her fear, she flew in to the creepy dark forest hoping that Zecora would be able to aid her. Unfortunately for Fluttershy, her hopes were to no avail for even the wise zebra had fallen head over heels for her. Desperately, Fluttershy went deeper in to the Everfree forest where she was suddenly attacked by an Ursa Minor, a creature far mightier for her to handle. Accepting her fate, Fluttershy waited for the upcoming blow to end her life however upon taking a peek, she realized that the blow wasn’t coming. Instead the Ursa Minor was purring and cuddling up to her like a cute playful kitten. Fully discovering the power she holds, Fluttershy secluded herself in to the deepest parts of the Everfree forest, enchanting and befriending the mightiest of beasts until she can safely go back to Ponyville with full mastery over her new power.
In the city of Cloudsdale, somewhere in the Weather factory a malfunction in the rainbow machinery created a hollow form. A pegasus called Rainbow Dash was the first pony who discovered this bizarre phenomenon. From her curiosity, she touched the ethereal static form, but unexplainable by any kind of magic or science Rainbow Dash lost her physical form and dispersed into a spirit. Alive, but hollow. Transparent, colorful, swift, and twenty percent cooler, Rainbow Dash is a dangerous force to be reckoned with to all those who would dare harm her or her friends. She's still able to interact like before, but in her new Spiritual Form she's able to create a Static Rainbow essence that will harm any adversaries who pass through it. Her aggresive Rainbow Vortex will slowly drag any enemy caught towards her for undefinable punishment. She can hit with a huge amount of Rainbow Essence to briefly cripple her adversaries with a static shock. And like any true static-charged rainbow, she can travel a long path of the material dimension with amazing speed and deal devastating damage to all those near her crash.
Spike the Dragon Knight was a simple messenger for Twilight Sparkle, the Invoker and her old teacher, Celestia (the Ruler of Olympus Equestria). Until one day, everything went to the pits of hell when Twilight betrayed Princess Celestia. Due to his undying loyalty to the Princess, he got in to a rage and spewed fire all over his savior. Twilight soon retaliated with a powerful spell, however thanks to the regenerative nature of his dragon blood, Spike survived and quickly stunned the Invoker with a powerful lash of his tail. After realizing he has betrayed his master, Spike ran away from the library in hopes of finding a new home. Many days have passed since that incident until one day, he arrived at a mansion that was occupied by Rarity, the Queen of Pain. As the days passed, the wandering knight has become enchanted by the mansion owner's beauty, but unfortunately for him he fell in to a trap. After living in the mansion for 12 years, the Queen of Pain showed him the real her: a corrupted queen who enjoyed taking advantage over anyone at any given time. Despite this realization that his feelings will never be returned, Spike continued to serve her until one day his pent up feelings ascended him from his baby dragon form to his elder dragon form thus harming his queen. Ashamed of this action, Spike fled from the Queen of Pain and dedicated his remaining life to solitude where he one day hopes that he will be able to master and restrain himself. Now known as the Dragon Knight, he forever wanders around Equestria alone, fighting against himself for the sake of his friends.
All across Equestria roamed a monster that loved giving out workshops and selling doormats on being assertive. His workshops were so impressive and effective that he has turned every single creature in Equestria to at least be a little assertive. However due to completing his mission, every time he tried to be assertive and show those ponies "who's boss," he receives futile and weak attacks to his muscle bounded body. Annoyed by such behavior from these ponies he taught to be assertive, he would spin like a record and hit like a truck, crushing all those who dared to strike him. If Iron Will does somehow meet some creature that isn't assertive, he would stir a hunger in that target so that he/she will want to become assertive. Once he nets his client to become assertive, he asks for that animal to pay up. If he/she refuses to pay, Iron Will Culls that ignorant buyer and turns that critter in to a brand new doormat for him to sell.
After her departure from Ponyville when she visited Rainbow Dash, Gilda hasn't changed her ways and in fact only refined and sharpened her ways to become 20% uncooler. Noticing RD's massively improved speed after her transformation to the Storm Spirit, Gilda cockily rushed in to the still malfunctioning weather center in Cloudsdale where instead of gaining new power of her own was treated with a nasty shock. After being recuperated back to health, Gilda burned in envy at Rainbow Dash's new found speed which spurred the griffon to great lengths to attain that speed by going through the deadly Ghastly Gorge. Like Rainbow Dash, Gilda soon found out that speeding through the Ghastly Gorge at a record pace was near impossible due to all of the monsters and rock slides that occur. In her rage she decided to fight the monsters only to get pummeled and beaten to an inch of her life. Suddenly, the scar on Gilda's face from her ordeal in Cloudsdale erupted and engulfed her body in fire. Realizing her new change, Gilda tested it out by bashing and destroying all the monsters in the gorge. By utilizing her improved speed, she is able to hit harder than ever before and with her new found flames, she can disappear and reappear right behind her target. Wanting to further test her new powers, Gilda charges toward Rainbow Dash, chasing the storm to the ends of the world.
Ruler of Equestria with her sister Luna and mentor of Twilight Sparkle, Celestia was as happy as can be until that faithful Day of Betrayals when she accepted to become Queen. It was an unanimous decision by all ponies across Equestria that Celestia should be known as its true ruler. Spurned by jealousy once more, Luna turned in to Nightmare Moon once more and staged a sneak attack on her sister that night. Celestia however sensed the dark presence and in self defense, summoned the sun and fired a ray of holy light that healed herself and harmed her sister. With the sun out, Nightmare Moon reverted back to Luna and in her state of shock fled the scene crying with a burned scar covering her face. Twilight Sparkle witnessed the fleeing, crying, and burned Luna and unleashed her fury on her mentor, claiming that Celestia was no longer the teacher she loved and respected. With meteors and sunstrikes learned from her master, Twilight unleashed them all only to witness her mentor to come out completely unscathed for the light was protecting the ruler from her magic. She then tried to use brute force only to see a divine being descend from the sky to guard the Queen. Baffled she tried to flee only to see she was going at a sluggish pace as the Queen slowly approached her. Out of fear and shame of what her master will do to her, Twilight ghost walked out of Canterlot to never be heard from again. Stricken by grief of this tragedy, Celestia stepped down from the throne and left Canterlot. Now known as the Omniknight, she walks across Equestria in hopes of renewing her friendship with her sister and student while guarding and protecting all ponies from evil-doers.
Upon hearing the unanimous decision that her sister should be Queen and shocked that her sister actually accepted such a notion. Luna felt dejected and unwanted by everypony once more. That night, Luna's memories of misery and desolation 1000 years ago began to resurface. Her memories and feelings of loneliness began to manifest itself and transformed Luna in to a dark and power mare. Swifter, stronger, and a heart tainted in jealousy once again, Luna was no more. Instead what stood in front of Celestia on that faithful night was none other than Nightmare Moon. Using her dark spell Void and crippling the heart of her sister, Nightmare Moon had the upper hand for a good portion of the fight, being able to maul and trample all over her target until suddenly, the sun rose. Celestia basked in its glory which burned the dark mare horribly, causing Nightmare Moon to vanish. In its stead was a very confused Luna. Feeling the agonizing burn on her face, Luna fled the castle believing that she was truly unwanted and unneeded by all ponies, including her own sister whom she loved. Never seen at day and hardly seen at night, Luna or Nightmare Moon stalks and wanders all around in the halls of Canterlot, hiding and waiting for the night to take her revenge.
On the Night of Betrayals, a loud and terrifying yawn echoed across Equestria. Discord, the chaotic king of old was freed once more. With his powers renewed due to the weakening spirits of harmony, he immediately reconquered Ponyville and made it his kingdom again. By splitting the Earth, he re-rose the buildings and by turning the clouds back in to cotton candy, he remade it to zap taste buds. Before he could truly sit on his throne though, a mysterious mare showed up to challenge his rule. Amused, he thought nothing of the pony since to him, she was but a delusional mare in cos-play. Before he was about to send her scurrying away, the shadowy mare began returning portions of ponyville to its proper order using some kind of advanced magic the dragonus has never seen. Enraged by such an act, Discord used his chaotic powers and tried to annihilate her on the spot by focusing all his powers on her. All was going according to plan when suddenly, the mare vanished. Out of surprise, he began to spread his influence of disruption all around him only to see nothing but checkerboard grass when out of the blue, he was struck. Wounded but grinning wickedly, Discord retreated that day, brewing new ideas to share with his new toy.
Gummy was a pet alligator who Pinkie Pie treasured through the good and the bad times. Having all his teeth plucked out and unable to chomp on anything solid, he truly savored the taste of Pinkie Pie's mane due to its Cotton Candy-like proportions. One day though, his owner Pinkie Pie fell in to a deep depression when her grandma passed away. Being as indifferent like always, Gummy sat idly and waited for his master to feel better and become the joyful pony he knew she can become. That day of happiness never came however and Gummy was left all alone in the dark confinements of the Cake's basement when Pinkie Pie went on her journey. Reptilian-like creatures have an odd way of growing up. For dragons, they mature and grow up by becoming greedier. For alligators, it is the increasing feeling of loss. Unable to feast on Pinkie Pie's hair, Gummy grew and became a powerful adolescent. Now fanged with his new adult teeth and filled with rage, Gummy broke out of the Cake's home and rampaged through Equestria, searching and looking to devour his traitorous master.
During Discord's new reign, the six elements of harmony knew something must be done to stop him once more. But who to go to? Twilight Sparkle secluded herself in her brilliance of Magic. Rarity drowned in her own beauty and became a Queen of her own land. Apple Jack is much too focused on protecting the family farm from the recent chaos spewed out by Discord. Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy are nowhere to be seen. And finally the two most important princesses, Celestia and Luna are forever locked in turmoil meaning there are no ponies in all of Equestria to properly wield it. Losing hope the six elements desperately roamed about Ponyville looking for a worthy possessor when it stumbled upon an inanimate mare. Sensing the friendship that binds it together, the six elements hastily reanimated this mare to its former glory. Possessing the leg power of Apple Jack, the senses of Pinkie Pie, and the magic of Twilight Sparkle, Mare Do Well, the one stitched and made by Rarity has been reborn. Using her incredible strength, Mare Do Well's kicks are so strong that it can be felt by enemies behind her target. By cloaking herself, Mare Do Well becomes completely invisible to the naked eye as she awaits any unsuspecting no-do gooder to walk near her. Being the possessor of the six elements, Mare Do Well is enchanted by it, allowing her attacks to hit much harder and at the same time be protected from any harm. Lastly she uses her spell which has an effect on the landscape, reversing any of Discord's harm to the land. Meanwhile those caught in this effect are slowed tremendously making it the ultimate counter to Discord's disorder. Known as the Templar Assassin for her faith, Mare Do Well diligently follows the six elements and is truly the Last Hero of Ponyville.
How to implement them in Dota 2 - by zik2021
Warning: You will have to put the .vpk files back into the Dota folder BEFORE EVERY UPDATE. After the update, you will have to change icons again, that's the only sad thing.
Portraits and Icons:
1.- Download GCFScape for the '.vpk' files. (Link - http://www.mediafire.com/?g1odgb1u8hix5o1)
2.- Use it to extract the pak01_dir.vpk from Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota - (extract files from pak01_dir.vpk into ANOTHER folder, not in the Dota folder)
3.- Remove all '.vkp' achives from Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota - (this is your back up, don't delete them, just move them)
4.- Insert extracted files in Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota - It will ask you to merge some folders, say yes.
5.- Download the packs you're going to use.
6.- Extract the packs into dota 2 beta/dota folder (if it asks you to merge folders or replace something, say yes).
Warning: You will have to put the .vpk files back into the Dota folder BEFORE EVERY UPDATE. After the update, you will have to change icons again, that's the only sad thing.
Test on how do they look:
Killing Spree Sounds:
V1.4 - Double Kill is now "The Fun has been Doubled!" and Radiant Victory is this.
v1.5 - New sounds now have higher volume.
This will change the Killing Spree sounds (Double Kill, Rampage, Godlike), the Battle Begins announce and the Radiant/Dire Victory.
How to install it:
1.- Extract your pak01_dir.vpk (if you already did that ignore this step. More info in the Portraits and Icons part)
2.- Download zip file from the link.
3.- Do a backup of - dota 2 beta\dota\scripts\voscripts\ game_sounds_vo_announcer_killing_spree.txt and game_sounds_vo_announcer.
4.- Do a backup of - dota 2 beta\dota\sound\vo\announcer and announcer_killing_spree.
5.- Extract the archive into dota 2 beta/dota (if it asks you to merge or replace something, say yes)
6.- Go to dota 2 beta\dota\maps\soundcache and delete _master.cache (Remember to do this or the sounds won't work).
7.- Launch Dota 2 and wait a long loading(new _master.cache is generating)
8.- Restart game and play in Dota 2 with pony announcer.
Lores:
Just go here \Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\resource and change dota_english.txt file. Find the hero what you need. For exaple QoP lore text starts with "npc_dota_hero_queenofpain_bio" and just change it.
