Worst hero in the game?

Why has no one said lina? A hero like sniper while crappy has a uniqueness that can be useful in certain situations. Lina is just absolute shit. Her stun is garbage and it even has a massive delay to it. Her AOE nuking capabilities are nothing to write home about. Her late game potential with her fiery soul is laughable and her ult is just trash. Everything she could possibly bring to the table is brought to the table better by someone else.

Bullshit, sniper is one of the best characters in my opinion.. Its easy, and mobil, and deals huge damage.

The new medusa is actually pretty strong IMO. That ult buff is really noticeable, and maybe you should talk after practicing Rapier rush + aegis. Win a teamfight, win the game.
Of course your teammates could be imbeciles, but no hero can dish out DPS as easy as a 20 min Rapier medusa. If you happen to have a non-brain-dead omni in your team, this just isn't funny anymore.

Usually I don't get snake in the Rapier rush build. as I find the need to have extra survivability + max splitshot essential, but if you're not rapier rushing, you need to see that medusa has a way better early-mid than she used to have.

As for a worst hero right now, I'd say Luna. Shitty range + no escape mechanism + shitty cast animation + shitty dps without big items + shitty laning. There's no way luna would be viable in any decent team composition. She would probably be somewhat decent if you can manage to get some big farm early game, but heroes like chen just take a dump on the whole hero concept (ult useless, danger of getting chain stunned when attempting to attack, big vulnerability to slows). Not to mention that blademail is just a ROFL U DIED LIKE A BITCH in a 1v1 situation. If you cannot farm a BM way faster than Luna farms BKB u deserve to lose. Another way to take a dump on Luna's ult in a 1v1 situation is using EULS. Still cheaper than a BKB.

Worst Int: Visage

I have yet to see a Visage in competitive since 6.69c. He still has good early game if you are good at microing the bats and have some decent teamwork, but he tapers off quickly even with an Aghs and every other support outshines him late.

Worst Agi: Luna

Not bad in pubs but I have yet to see Luna in any competitive match. She has a ranged battlefury but dusa's is better. She has a mediocre ult and nuke which is really only good for single hero ganks or small teamfights without creeps around. Her aura is nice though, but Drow's is better and Drow has a silence which is way more helpful.

Worst Str: Bristleback

A good BB can still dominate pubs but I have yet to see him in competitive. I find his skillset very mediocre.

He is probably just referring to her ultimate buff because if you skip mystic snake then you give up huge early/mid game potential for Medusa. Her ultimate now makes it even harder to gank her after she hits 6.

Stats+Shield is a situational skill build most people belive is standard. Snake+Shield has always been the standard skill build to me.

Snake goes far from a laning skill, it improves your mid game and farming potential soooo much i dont see how +8 to all stats could be better most of the time. With 1 level of split shot and max snake you can crush pushes (and you can perma spam it).

And you are not giving up on your late game at all, in fact quite the oposite. Without snake you are a pasive hero that does nothing until 30 minutes in. With snake you can at least do something and be as much of a threat by that mark.

her 560 aoe abilities are among the best in the game, certainly something to "write home about"
Her ult is certainly not trash, it is the most damaging ability in the game
fiery soul is a pretty powerful ability, a free hyperstone (and more) makes a crystal maiden be incredibly painful, her dps can at the very least reach the strength of a weaver, Void etc.

Naga Siren is a top pick in SE DotA and I expect this to soon be the same for Chinese and Europe DotA. She is a solid carry that can go various builds and best counter to Lycan out there.

Medusa dunno nya. Haven't seen her since she was a top pick like 6.68 or something? How is she different? mew recalls she had 400HP at lvl1, crap damage (like 50), slow movement and bad animation @_@

Drow ranger, drow ranger, and drow ranger, always drow ranger. Even KotL is better than her. Every other hero people listed is just slightly underpowered, like Medusa- a great lategame carry who is nigh unkillable, who forces a push in her direction and survives all team clashes. Her impotence is what makes her not popular. BB? Still a star with a mana battery, even if hes underused. Hes not even bad at all right now, just not god tier. Sniper? He's a risky carry but works splendidly when he does, fitting into teams that can control positioning. Absolutely bonkers stats and always contributing to fights.

But drow ranger? She's the worst fucking hero in the game, in pretty much every way. You can play drow ranger by taking a krobelus and getting nothing but stats, silence and witchcraft. And you'd be better off. You can play drow ranger by taking any 600 range hero and taking only 1 spell, really.

Drow isn't even a 2-skill hero, her frost arrows are so absurdly worthless in the current meta, where everyone can either out-dps you, stun you, ghost staff, force staff, ww, blink, whatever, frost arrows are the weakest orb out there. All drow really contributes to anything is a silence, and its an underpowered silence at that, compared to other heroe's silences.

Her two passive skills don't even make up for her lack of base stats alone. You could play a sniper with just his base stats, and he'd be doing better than drow's marksmanship and aura combined. People see marksmanship and bust a nut without looking at her agility gain. Ok, she gets +45 agility, wahoo! Except she has almost 45 less agility than a real agility hero. With the standard BAT and base damage, she barely has as much DPS as other heroes like antimage & terrorblade & windrunner before you consider their skills at all. And thats with all her DPS skills combined.

I have never seen a drow ranger be useful in a game, period. I have never seen her be the reason a team has won. I've seen drow rangers win games by being carried by their allies, I've seen them passively farm and try desperately to get mass tier 4 items (and still be ignorable free-food). Every other hero in current dota might be within +/- 10% overall power level, besides maybe also KotL. Drow? Maybe -70%. Worst hero in the game, by a good margin from the rest of them.


People saying stuff like "SB sucks, Drow is good" are insane, and have no idea what they're talking about. SB is only bad in DotA 1 because he's shut down by BKB so hard, and would be an amazing hero if he wasn't. In DotA 2, even with the BKB nerf, the stealth buffs to empowering haste and charge make him extremely strong, and few people even realize he's a top pick because of it.

I think its funny, I was actually in a game the other day where I was SB, and my ally was Drow, and we started by arguing about which hero sucked- I said I never saw a drow that was any good, he said SB was never any good, etc, that we'd lose because I picked SB, and I said we'd lose because he's drow. Sadly all that debate was in teamchat so its not on the replay.

I don't understand how people can think like that. I mean, drows entire hero adds up to using krob's autoattacks or something like that. Meanwhile SB has one of the highest EHPs, and has the absolutely strongest attacks in the game- much stronger attack than SF- and can chainstun 1 target to death each clash pretty much no matter what, and jungles with just a mask.
