Default [REMAKE] Krobelus' Silence


Drow and Krobe share same skill.

So I propose this :

Ghost

Krobelus change herself into the Ghost. Also, silences all enemies nearby during this form. Get 10% MS bonus in this form

Level 1 - Silences 250 AoE. Last 4 seconds.
Level 2 - Silences 300 AoE. Last 5 seconds.
Level 3 - Silences 350 AoE. Last 6 seconds.
Level 4 - Silences 400 AoE. Last 7 seconds.

In Depth Explanation

Krobelus will turn into the "Banshee Ghost" with little transparency.
She will also get zero collision (since it's a ghost)
The zero collision is one like Phase Boots not Spectral Dagger


Cooldown: 20/19/18/17 seconds.
Mana Cost: 75 mana.

Interesting concept, very interesting, fits well better with her game style, but WitchCraft will work on it to?

Hmm... Witchcraft reduces the mana cost by 10. Does it sounds good?

No. Thumbsdown.

Silence is a great skill on Krob, Its a viable alternate skill to maxing carrion swarm and it gives her added utility in a team fight. Enemys can still cast in this, they just have to wait for 1 second to get a skill off. When looking at heroes like ES an echo slam can change the battle.

I know silence is a great skill but the problem is silence is used in Traxex also.

Reduces physical dmg only. Magics are silenced when they are near to krob


EDIT :

Now this skill gives silence (constant) to all nearby enemies for 8 seconds.

Unless you take increased spell damage or move slower during this, This is unbearably overpowered when paired with Exorcism. Krob's ult as we know is extremely strong and when she has her items it becomes increasingly harder to take her down. With this amount of physical damage reduction, there isnt a single carry that can defeat her. Thats just stupid.

Reduce duration to 2/3/4/5 seconds is better imo...8 seconds is too long for such benefits...and maybe reduce the physical damage taken to 20%/30%/40%/50% because 75% is crazy imo.

Like the concept however.

Duration is reduced to constant 6 and phyical damage is reduced as you said.

The silence AoE isn't that great so I don't think this is imba....

T-up for concept. After nerf of the Heart, Bloodstone, Witchcraft and Phase Boots Banshee became an average hero. This remake will make her a bit stronger.

actually i wouldn't mind removing drows silence for something that suits her more, but as long as we are remaking a repeated skill, this is fine.

Very amazing concept. All the numbers are balanced enough for me, except for the Mana Cost and Cooldown. Maybe increase the scaling? 75/85/105/125? And cooldown to fixed 20 seconds?

No current way of determining incoming damage type, but I'm not sure if there's a base ability in Warcraft, that has the same function as this. Just thought I'd mention.

Imbalanced numbers. Fix them or it's a T-down from me. Either reduce the duration to 2/3/4/5 or make her take bonus magic damage while in this form (like Decrepify) (some enemies are bound to remain unsilenced).
