Also, make it so it so spacebar is set to the ping location as well. I just scanned through, there is no sight of enemy. But you can ping. I would make the ward have an 1800 range attack that only attacks heroes and whenever they are attacked, ping, add them to a cooldown group, wait 5 seconds, remove them from that group. Unless I'm really inefficient like most people say and there is a better way of doing. |

1. Does this mean, this will Ping you?
2. If it is, does it mean that it will be seen only by you, or the whole team?

1. Yes it will PING you and everybody in the team just like a normal player PING.
2. It's not pointless because it eliminates the ALT+CLICK that player needs to manually do every time they see a hero and it's 100% guaranteed ping without player forgetting to ping.

Im absolutely against it. Just because you got wards, shouldnt mean that the enemy team is forbid to ever gang you again. This would also apply to your team, effectively making the game boring. T-Down

Pinging for Observer Wards should be enough. I don't think there is a need for Auto-Alt-Click.

this should be implemented, but the wards can be toggled to auto ping or not. secondly, there should be limits on how often can the wards ping. such as once, every 10 seconds to prevent insane pinging..

There is a difference between increasing usability (reducing the effort needed to play) and reducing difficulty (reducing the skill needed to play).
I'm all for increasing usability since having to check things a lot is a pain, but this would also make it far easier to deal with your enemies. Currently they can slip right past someone who isn't paying attention to the minimap at that very moment, but that won't happen very often anymore with this change. I don't really like that. |
