T-down, you shouldn't even have to look at your hero to know if you're invis or not.* Anybody that knows dota knows all about fadetimers and whatnot. Also the addition of this would just clutter the buffzone with more icons.

Sure why not. We needs more noob-friendly things like this one. It also helps detecting cheaters somehow.
You need just a decent icon.

T-up! Makes sense. About the icon, let it be the same as the spell -> Web for Brood, Permanent Invisibility for Riki.

You can count fade time based on the specific effect ability.

u blind? riki have buff icon when he is in permanent invisibility, its actualy act of spell so thats why when he is silenced he is revealed, as long the broodmother wont be revealed if he is silenced

Seems good...or the hero should be more faded if there is no icon...
it could be help if you want to escape a rumble / from the ogre's ignition got multicast and turns the screen on fire the icon can help you whether you got invis or not, since you wont get spell target / normal damage when your invis...

Sorry, T-down. It's such a thing with buffs. In every game you have about mid-game more than enough buffs in your inventory, mostly they can't be shown all. Nice idea but I think it is stupid to add another unnecesarry buff (which maybe can't even be seen).
