Introduction: This is my 3rd item idea, and I hope you take it all seriously. I ain't kidding about this suggestion, and this is not a self-praise idea, its for creative purposes, I hope all of you guys like it.

A crown, once worn by King Terenas of Menethil himself, which imbued preeminent prowess of the lands of Lordaeron. Anyone who dared harm the king had only failed... and later convicted.


Elusive Tactic (Passive)
+3 armor
+3 AGI


Cannot carry more than one

Elusive Tactic
Grants the user a 18% chance to divert the attack (regular attacks) to another allied unit [creeps only | allied heroes cannot be targeted] in the 350 AOE. If there are no allied units present in the area, the attacker damages himself. *Axe's Counter Helix can still occur, even though you do not take any damage, you are still the initial target.

Example:
I'll give an example since some people have kind of misunderstood the concept.

Viper attacks Troll (wearing the Crown). King Terenas' Crown triggers, so Viper's attack diverts into the nearest allied creep unit of Troll in the 350 AoE (Note that attacks cannot be diverted to allied hero units). However, if there is no allied creep unit near Troll and Elusive Tactic triggers, the attacker himself damages himself with the damage.

Why Buy This Item? [COLOR="White"]
Terenas Crown could well be the alternative for Butterfly but in a smaller scale. It grants you a self-save but sacrifices another unit to take your life for you, exactly what is done to save a king. Haha. Its only 1k gold and probably would have an upgrade but I didn't want to do so at the moment. Think about this item, it may replace Eaglehorn as a component for Butterfly, as I've said earlier.

Who do I buy this item for?
The simplest choice for me would be tanks. Axe, Centaur Warchief and Leviathan will have a ball handling King Terenas' Crown. Simply because this will shed away the excess damage they take in (most especially from Axe's Berserker Call).

Is that the wearer's ally or the attacker's ally that takes the damage?

example: Rylai(Sentinel) wore King James Crown and when the enemy hero(Lion) used Finger of Death upon Rylai but triggers the Elusive Tactic. The damage is now spread evenly(Sunstrike) or Dispersed(Dispersion)? to nearby allies or to the attacker it self when there is no ally in present.

Q: sunstrike or disperse?

Your ally (wearer's ally). So it a self save. It would be risky though. But if you had creeps around you, it would be like a pawn dying.

Its not spread evenly. The damage is fully taken by your ally (any allied unit in a 350 AOE for that matter) but if there isn't anyone around but you and this triggers, the caster himself will receive the damage.

Well its put to good use when you have Someone with HIGH HP with you..

Question:

What happens if the damage gets diverted to someone else with the King James' Crown?

Will it pass on to another unit or will the unlucky one take the damage?

Hmm.. You could add "Can't target ally heroes." So nobody gets killed because of this lol..

It's a simple, high% backtrack, but damages some1 else..

This is strong. Rly. Better than avoid. Better than armor. Chance.But its good!

Well the % chance is there for a reason. So yes, if you divert the attack and the other user diverts it, it can go to an ally or simply back to you.

Technically, you don't deny anyone, its just that the attack goes to them. >.< haha.

Thanks for the support, but I don't think it should disallow to an enemy hero. It would just be too restrictive, and we wouldn't like that. Haha.

I am not usually in these parts of the forums but this looks fun. Make it a recipe and you are golden imo, something with slipper of agility. It would really be fun though.
