Legion

This is the very bow of the vampire Vladimir. A cursed bow that enshrines countless demonic spirits, this bow infuses a fallen soul with one of its denizens -- resurrecting it into a shambling skeleton. As more demonic forces rise, the stronger their fervor will be.

My name is Legion, for we are many.

REQUIREMENTS:

OLD STATISTICS:

+25 agility
+16% Lifesteal Aura
+15% Damage Aura
+5 Armor Aura
+0.8 Mana Regeneration Aura
(Auras have AoE of 1100)


NEW STATISTICS:

+30 agility
+16% Lifesteal Aura
+15% Damage Aura
+5 Armor Aura
+0.8 Mana Regeneration Aura
(Auras have AoE of 1100)
Legion


Legion:

Whenever the wielder of Legion kills a non-hero, non-ancient, non-mechanical unit, a Demonic Warrior is raised from its corpse. The more units the wielder of Legion has around him, the stronger he and his units get. The wielder can have a maximum of 5 Demonic Warriors at any one time.

* for every player-controlled unit around the hero with Legion in 1100 AoE, the hero and his units get:
(maximum of 8 friendly units aside from hero)
+3 damage (maximum of +27 damage)
+3% attach speed (maximum of +27% attack speed)
+1% movement speed (maximum of +9% movement speed)
+1 armor (maximum of +9 armor)


Note:
- denies raise Demonic Warriors
- summoned and dominated units provide and receive to the Legion bonus; illusions, couriers, and shared units do not
- Demonic Warriors exist indefinitely
- Non-player-controlled allies do not benefit from Legion, but benefit from Vladimir's Offering's original aura absorbed by Legion
- auras from Legion do not stack with other Legions, Vladimir's Offerings, Rings of Basilius, or the +armor aura from Assault Cuirass
- ranged attack animation is changed to Ladder Dark Ranger's Dark Arrows

A few thoughts:
- I really wanted to create an item that uses this concept of "the more, the merrier."
- I initially thought of using Necronomicon, but build-up would be worse, and an upgradable item would be bad for a recipe I guess.
- This makes full use and synergizes with Vlad's auras, as Vlad is deemed as a very bad item currently.
- I am thinking of making it an orb effect, thoughts?
- Too bad if this is impossible to code.
- If you guys are wondering what else inspired me to do this:

Thanks But cap on what? I already made it 5 for Demonic warriors. Should it be reduced?

Edit: Ah, I get it, a cap on the bonus, hmmm, I will add one. I'll just have to decide on the appropriate amount

5 with 600 Hp & 35.5 dmg AND addition of any players around, is still too strong. Then Vladi and necro... omg think of this on beastmaster... XD.

I think you should at least remove the additional bonusses for each player controlled unit. Chen, BM and a carrie with this = Rape. Ok it will buff summoner but they're alrdy not bad, are they?

Quite IMBA. You should put the item requirement : eaglehorn. Try make another basic bow since you have so many bows. And the basic bow can be the item requirement for this item. It will be cheaper and not so IMBA.

BAT of Demonics?
I placed a BAT of 1.7 and added a cap to how much bonuses can be received. Note that its all derived from player controlled units only, not any other allies.

It would be hard if Chen or BM would spend 3300 for an Agi item. So I guess if they are able to spend 3300 for this, then they deserve to get way buffed by it. But still, all they can add is +3 units, which would just hit the cap. So they won't be that imbalanced. Besides, during lategame, units such as these as well as the Demonic Warriors would probably quickly be wiped out

no, but the matter is that each player controled unit you get the bonus, that means also for allies. So Agi-carry gets this, and the allie is chen / bm whee bonus. that means basicaly the item provides +67% AS, +66 Dmg +9% ms and +14 armor, +15% dmg aura and +16% lifeleech aura. for 6000 gold?
oh ye i forgot the minions which hit with 75.75 Dmg , and then 5 of them...

Oh no, to clarify, I didn't intend for it for allies as well. I just meant player-controlled units and not allies in the from of other players. I also added a cap and the maximum effects can be seen in my revised first post. I will redo the numbers. Kindly recheck it once again. If I am not getting something kindly enlighten me, thank you

Note that the damage aura from Vlad's does not increase from +pure damage items.

I have placed a cap. And OMG, you are right, I haven't thought about this being on Geomancer. Hmmm, but it seems its just okay so far . Maybe its the buff he always needed -- and with 3 clones + 5 Warriors, he immediately reaches the cap. Who knows, further input and thinking is needed at the moment

I see two problems.
Fist, the item does way too much shit.
Secondly, you have given an orb effect to a Vlad's upgrade. The problem is that heroes that get Vlad's have almost certainly, another orb effect, via skill or item.

Thanks for the input. If you look at it, all it does is add Vlad's original stuff, and a Legion "the more the merrier" bonus, plus the added Agility. Sorry if it all appeared cluttered. Second, I was considering if I should make it an orb effect and TribuneXIII seconded it as after all, it is based on Dark Arrows. Should I make it a non-orb effect as you suggest so people who have taken Vlads would still benefit from it?

Indeed, that is the current point, but we should consider as well the aura theme it has and its benefit to nearby friendly units. So I am rethinking of making it a non-orb again.
