Another funny movement-based hero! Really like that model with added visual effects! Yet what are the damage types of the first and ultimate skill?

I think he is pretty weak in what matters stats, base damage and attack speed. Also he can't buy boots so I am unsure about his item choices. His hp is huge but apart from that he lacks much...the skillset somehow compensates it because you will be damn annoying but still...

All he needs is blink dagger and forcestaff tbh. His current ultimate is imbalanced as well as the 60% damage reduction. That's 30 armor right there and am's spell shield all in one skill.

With hardly a drawback seeing as how the negative as is counteracted by the increased damage.

But the ultimate is the most ridiculous. It's like Pudge hooks every 1.5 seconds. Sure you can't choose but all you have to do is position urself right early and it's fine. Late Game with an Agh's the whole enemy team will be hugging him and won't be able to do a single thing about it, they can't run(they move at 120 ms) and they get dragged back every 1.5 seconds. And they can't kill him with spells or attacks.

Just blink in with ult on, and hold position as the enemy team dies around you.

^ 150 MS, they aren't dragged back if they are in 280 AoE, you are big slow shit and their attack speed isn't slowed while yours is...you practically deal 0 damage exept first skill and from time to time you attack once...not that you have 1,9 BAT very low agi and 50% AS reduction...you probably attack once every 2,5 seconds with items...worse than tiny and you don't even get that much damage increase...

Yes the armor/resistance is good but you will need it because people will focus you...also range of hook isn't that big...Pudge has bigger and hugging this guy isn't bad you can attack him and kill him relatively fast...you don't have stuns only ministun on first skill...which is also your damage source...your stats are shit and the drag only deals big damage if you have aghanim's...

Even if you dominate the field they will outrun you and push towers down while you barely move...you are shit in defense unless you spend a lot on tps...you move with 300 MS all the game...you can't gank effectively without ultimate...blink dagger helps and force staff too but it is more than 4000 gold to get that...it is a situational hero...any real pusher can outsmart him....


PS: Imagine storm spirit vs this poor guy...he would be dead as hell...the ultimate is only thing that can keep him alive...

Skill 1: How many sec. does the ministun mean. By the way, great.
Skill 2: Never saw that before.
Skill 3: Counter to Bara... finally a hero that hates Bara.
Ulti: Nice disable.
Overall: you should decrease base movement (Techies has 270, this guy should have e.g. 285), but nice. Like it!

60% damage reduction is unkillable. Remember this is percentage not a fixed value like stout shield. It is really imba. Plz reduce it. Even 50% is imba given his super high strength gain by level. Nerf it to 40% or 30%.

^ You know that he is easily ignored because he will become fucking slow and you rather attack somebody else and keep away from him until others die and then you can kill him.


PS: It is 60% not 100%. You will be resistant but not immune. While you will be so slow that you will barely move. Sure if you are close to somebody then you slow them too but you can't chase them because you move at same speed. 1 stun and they escape the slow and you will be worthless again. Ranged heroes will love this guy.

Personally, I like this hero.

His first skill by itself will end up doing about 200 damage to a hero with boots.
His third skill will increase that damage to 250.
Add in his second skill, and now its a solid 400 damage, however, at the cost of his auto-attacks. And that damage resistance will help keep him alive while he moves, like a dead snail...
And his Ultimate pulls foes in to get them in range of his slow and nuke.

Overall, he's a hero based around bringing people close. Good people to have with him are Magnataur and Dark Seer, as they can send people right into Deadsnail.

2 things I think should be different is that the AOE on his 1st and 3rd moves should be increased to 320 and 300 respectively. Because Slardar's stun is in 350 and Brewmaster's slow is within 400. 280 is a bit hard to hit with, even with a slow.
Also, maybe increase the delay between chains to 2 or 2.5 seconds, because otherwise those chains are flying really fast.

550 magical damage (75 mana, 5 sec cd) against targets hit by Frost Bite, Pit of Malice, Naga's Enshare, Meepo's Enshare, single and mass entangles. Pit's Pit (pun intended) would be the most annoying, when paired with this guy's skills.
