Personally, I like this hero.
His first skill by itself will end up doing about 200 damage to a hero with boots.
His third skill will increase that damage to 250.
Add in his second skill, and now its a solid 400 damage, however, at the cost of his auto-attacks. And that damage resistance will help keep him alive while he moves, like a dead snail...
And his Ultimate pulls foes in to get them in range of his slow and nuke.
Overall, he's a hero based around bringing people close. Good people to have with him are Magnataur and Dark Seer, as they can send people right into Deadsnail.
2 things I think should be different is that the AOE on his 1st and 3rd moves should be increased to 320 and 300 respectively. Because Slardar's stun is in 350 and Brewmaster's slow is within 400. 280 is a bit hard to hit with, even with a slow.
Also, maybe increase the delay between chains to 2 or 2.5 seconds, because otherwise those chains are flying really fast.
