I make a living out of off hand trading, which is completely unrelated to legitimate careers which I may endorse.
Well, writing, apparently. It makes you a better person.

It means not quite of total legitimacy.

Seems you're not quite yet where'd you want to be though. Can't imagine off hand trading could be anyone's ambition. :P

Obviously so, but I'm 17, I don't have to be quite there yet. I'd start picking things up when I have a real computer to use, rather than once in a few days like now.

While you're having nice little conversations regarding LR's life and current state, I'm having a tiny little problem over here.

What is that layout in OP about.

I'm honestly trying to think of anything, and... No, nothing works. Heroes are divided into groups I can not grasp - well, some I can, like the hard-support-ganking-wardplacers in the right, but the rest?

Why is Alchemist next to Venomancer and Lina?

What are Ursa and Gyro doing in the same line as Storm, CK and Windrunner?

WHAT IS GOING ON

And yes, I have read this entire thread, all three pages, and still I don't get it. Yes, I know. I'm a noob. See the username, in fact.

Just tell us what does it mean already and where would Rubick be.
---
Grubi's layout seems much better regarding the competitive scene as far as I can see, and it actually makes me sad, being a reminder of my Warlock never ever getting a solo lane in the nearest sixtillion months.

That is not a layout for comp scene, it's for pub games. It's how I see heroes and players who pick them, and pubstomp part are the heroes I like playing the most (mostly because they are easy to play and give good results)

I'll make a better one when I have time.

This made me smile. Rubick wasn't there when I made the layout, just fyi. It was supposed to be an experiment on gearing up the layout to fit an FDP design in mind. It didn't turn out so well though.

I only pick one hero in ap, so my layout is very simple.

OP, no offense but I really think your layout is stupid, and this whole thread backfired at you.

No one, including but not limiting to myself here seems to figure what was your criteria for arranging heroes like this and I myself really doubt if doing this ever had a real impact in the ban/pick stage.

Personally, I find it more confusing to change the original layout.. Even more so since some heroes can fit into more than 1 role.

Try ~2 posts above yours. I'm not saying it's obvious or it even should be, but I think you have misinterpreted my goal of making this thread.
I also frown at hero roles at this point, so those with such a thing in mind should not apply them to anything I say and expect it to make sense.

I'll have to update it soon though.
Speaking to some people here had gotten me through very interesting way to improve the design in general (not so much the hero pool)

Maybe its okay for you, since you are the one that designed it. As for me, I find it very very messy. I still use the original one, as I feel its easier to leave it like that. lol.

Updated the OP, should be easier to see.
Albeit the original point got me a bit confused now.

I'm back to original layout because I'm too lazy to redo it every time a new hero comes

Plus heroes in my pubstomp tier rotate so I would have to update those regularry.

Original layout is the best layout.

I don't know how you'd find it messy, it's pretty simple. Maybe if I arranged the heroes in each group by their attribute or some shit.

It's messy in a way that it just doesn't balance itself out, nothing more than that.
