Default some questions about desolate

hi guys,

how exactly does desolate work, i knew it is based on evasion, but is the damage dealt as separate attack instance?

if it is a separate damage instance, can it:
a. be evaded (via evasion or windrunner)?
b. lifesteal the damage via open wounds/vampire aura?
c. deactivate Dagger or tranquil boots? ( e.g. tranquil would be deactivated after 2 spectre attacks)

No, no, yes. It also takes off an instance of refraction and is trigger upon the start of the attack, not at damage point.

Open Wounds is not normal lifesteal. Open Wounds will heal for all damage, even spells like Laguna Blade.

Therefore, Open Wounds will heal Spectre for Desolate damage.

Other than that, chick3nfist correct.
