so E for everyone games dont have hot women. ok. i was under the impression that the ratings games got were for violence and language, not whether or not cleavage is shown. i guess i was wrong.

ill keep in mind that slavery might not be immoral to you. but that doesnt change the fact that it is wrong. things are morally wrong because you can find a line of causality between the action and the harm it causes to others. your logic is still fail

I'm with OP on this one. If I wanted porn, I wouldn't play Dota. If I wanted fanservice, I would watch anime. This sexualisation of women in video games is swaying from the purpose of the game. I mean you go to LoL and all there are at least 3 female champs in each game. Those players are often the worst. Fucking distractions.

I just got the best fucking idea ever. I don't know a lot of LoL, but for those that do, do this please. Copy paste the OP, change the hero names to champ names, and post to LoL forums.

Later, link it please.

And for those that find this post, please don't spoil the fun in the forums over there. Which reminds me, it's going to get closed.

First off, OP: breasts are not sexual organs. They are secondary sexual characteristics. If you want to be taken seriously, get your facts straight.

Vengeful Spirit used to be a princess according to her lore, yes. If you had finished reading it, you would know that she is now a spirit, an "imperishable form of spirit energy." Logically speaking, it doesn't make sense that she's wearing anything at all.

The descriptors you attribute to Lina leads me to believe you are either trolling or just extremely perverted. In no way is she "dragged" by her "gigantic" breasts. Apparently your ideal depiction would be a nun flying fists-first like Superman. If that's the case, you're in for a lengthy discussion over on the Dev forums. Good luck.

Yes, Phantom Assassin, Luna, Spectre, and Enchantress have very awesome models. I completely agree. I also believe that there is nothing "sexualized" about Windrunner of Crystal Maiden showing cleavage (which in no way conflicts with her being a maiden, n. unmarried woman).

OP, have you been to a high school in the past decade? What about a shopping mall, or a concert? If so you would know that--oh wait, I just got a phone call. It was Israel, they want all their burqas back.
Since you took the time to write a good, thoughtful response I'll explain myself. I'm assuming you didn't read the thread (I can't blame you, most of it is nonsensical) but I already addressed all of your points.

Firstly, the section where I was making comments about each hero was intended to draw people in and get them interested in reading the post. I like to consider myself somewhat good at hooking people in to my writing. Now, just because I intended for the post to be amusing, does not mean that I was trolling. I was simply trying to add humor to an otherwise very controversial topic. (That said, I'm aware of the difference between sex organs and secondary sexual characteristics.)

And if you care to peruse the thread I offered from the Dev Forums, several of the more mature posters on the forum were talking about Lina and other heroes. I'm not the only person that believes that she is over sexualized. And your point about Vengeful Spirit would be a good one if there weren't similar male characters that are clothed. Honestly, they could have removed her skin too. They went out of their way to sexualize her.

Anyway, the main point of my thread that very few seemed to comprehend was not that I wanted the existing heroes changed, but that I wanted more variety among the humanoid female characters. I don't want Lina changed - I just want them to consider that they don't need to put every female hero in push-up-bra armor.

As a note, I'm considering rewriting the opening post to be less distracting. Light humor was simply not a good idea.

You want to make more diversity in Dota2? Go dev.
You want to chhange something? Go dev.
You want to complain about bad things(or ridiculous things) VALVe does to Dota2? Go dev.
You have some ideas to improve the game? Go dev.

And yes, i've read all of your post. As i can see there are all your own opinion and nothing to "chat" there. I really think this thread's belong to the dev forum, because it was not made to chat nor to gather informations.

Hmm..not true. In response to the Vengeful Spirit bit, and "male clothes who are the same but clothed." Enigma. Straight spirit. No clothes. Just sort of a floaty..wave like thing rising from the ground. Pretty sure he's a spirit. Bane Elemental, no clothes. Shadow Fiend, no clothes. Shadow DEMON, once again, no clothes, except some weird cape thing on his back. Ancient Apparition, no clothes. All of these are male spirits/ghosts of some nature. The male versions DON'T wear clothes.

I wanted to discuss the issue. There was a good thread on the Dev Forums but it was closed (seriously, almost every thread is closed on that forum). There is no place on the Dev forums to discuss the issue, as the hero model feedback sections are hero specific and the forum is private. So I could have made this thread there, but it would have been closed also.

And if you read the thread I linked in the OP, you can see we had a decent discussion going on. There were folks that disagreed that females are sexualized, and they voiced their opinions about it respectfully. Yes, it was incredibly foolish of me to expect the same level of maturity on this forum - I'll take all the blame for that.

The point is that they made Vengeful Spirit with her sexuality in mind. Why couldn't they have made her look more like Enigma? Or Bane? That would have been awesome if they came up with with a way to make her look like a spirit monster.

I can guarantee you if they had made her completely nude and just sort of a ghostly form like she is now but just sort of transparent like Enigma or Shadow Fiend or Shadow Demon people would be making a huge fuss over how she isn't wearing any clothes at all. I can almost promise you they didn't make her with her sexuality in mind. What they were probably thinking was, "this is a vengeful spirit, let's try and make her look vengeful, and spirity." If anything she might be inspired by the Crow from the movie with Brandon Lee, who was vengeance personified.

the OP (i hate to call like this) should have problems with her body by judging at the thread she has started.

the bad thing is there is no heroine with sensuality in this game.Come on. Just look at wr or pa. They look so awful. Where is the sexuality in here?

Overflowing amount of female nudity in your sig disagrees. Also i find PA to be one of the better models.
