List TA counters here!

Okay I hate the hero, it's just a hero that when she ganks, she can dive your face and roflstomp your team because -8 armor is too much to handle in the early game (-14 armor with medalion... zzzz).

Hope this helps people that read this thread to counter her, so that more people playing her get raped, which makes less people play her.

Best Counters IMO which fit most lineups and can solo her at any point in the game (unless somehow she got 4k more farm than you of course)
Veno - ALL of his skills melt refraction (though you need level 2 sting)
Axe - BH melts refraction. Call brings her out of Meld. Culling Blade awesome against her poor hp.
Leshrac - Edict and Pulse = Dead TA
DS - Vacuum anti-meld, Ion Shell 2 heroes and byebye refraction, Surge to save anyone caught by traps

Stuff that melts refraction
Radiance - Best item counter to refraction
Necro3 heroes - Lycan... Furion..
Huskar - Although he needs to take an extra level of spears..
Gyro rockets
Focus Fire
Ogre Ignite
DS Ion Shell
Pudge Rot
Sniper Shrapnel
SK Sand Storm
Weaver Bugs
Alch acid
Dazzle
BS
Viper
Bat
Disruptor
Summon heroes

Stuff to counter the invis
Slardar, BH, Dust, Sentries..

Heroes that don't give a crap and just kill her when shes invis

Nope, Silence shouldn't reveal her. If it does in DotA 2 it is a bug.

edit: Btw, the best counter to TA is teamplay. She is very strong 1v1, but diminishes in strength very fast as numbers increase. She also can't go hunting for weak heroes if you're all teamed up.

It's not good then, TA doesn't have high hp so Necro won't do much damage

Axe is by far the best.

Battle hunger ruins TA, and due to her low range, you can easily land calls and helix when she attacks you. Cancelling dagger is another major plus, along with refraction piercing culling blade.

"TA takes little to no amount of skill to play"? Sure, that's why you see if ever picked 75% pub players fail with her.

To counter a good TA you need more than to counter her with few spells. Axe was never a problem for me. The high dmg outburst with refraction makes it easy to counter Battle hunger by denying your creeps and killing units. In fact I rather go very aggressive against an Axe and i don't mind to come close to him because the refraction is just too imba and usually Axe is the one who pulls back. And even a Venomancer can be outplayed. And not to forget the Maphack ability which makes it hard to gank her unless you have Smoke of Deceit.

To counter a TA you need a team that has a lot of AOE spells removing Refraction very fast and preventing her from attacking.

But the worst counters are Dark Seer and Batrider. They can dispel any skills of her.. When I see any of these heroes in enemy team I rather pick not TA.

If someone uses her meld like adefensive spell, it's good as dead with her...

Invoker can counter everything =/

Meld was for me never a defensive skill, so I never saw Sentries or Gem as counter. It is rather a nice dmg outburst skill. As for Lanaya :"The best defense is a good offense"
