Medusa's Strengths:

1. Hard to kill
2. Great farmer/pusher

Medusa's Weaknesses:

1. She's good at everything but not great in any one area
2. Many items mess up Splt Shot

1- Split Sho[t]

Medusa magically splits her shot into four arrows. These arrows deal a lower percent of her normal damage.

Level 1 - 45% damage
Level 2 - 55% damage
Level 3 - 65% damage
Level 4 - 75% damage

2 - Mysti[c] Snake

A mystic snake made of energy jumps from target to target dealing damage and stealing some energy. After it reaches its last target, it jumps back to Medusa to replenish it with mana. The snake deals more damage and steals more mana per jump. The snake's power is increased by 20% each jump.

Level 1 - 80 base damage, 20 base mana. 3 jumps.
Level 2 - 120 base damage, 30 base mana. 4 jumps.
Level 3 - 160 base damage, 40 base mana. 5 jumps.
Level 4 - 200 base damage, 50 base mana. 6 jumps.

Mana Cost: 140/ 150/ 160/ 170

Cooldown: 11

3- Mana Shi[e]ld

Creates a shield that absorbs 50% of the incoming damage by using Medusa's mana.

Level 1 - 0.75 damage per point of mana.
Level 2 - 1.25 damage per point of mana.
Level 3 - 1.5 damage per point of mana.
Level 4 - 2 damage per point of mana.

4- Stone [G]aze

Any enemy units staring at the Gorgon will slowly turn to stone, removing status buffs and slowing all speed properties. Deals more damage to summoned units per level.

Level 1 - Slows speed by a factor of 2.
Level 2 - Slows speed by a factor of 3.
Level 3 - Slows speed by a factor of 5.
Deals 600/ 800/ 1000 damage to summoned units and illusions.

Mana Cost: 100/ 50/ 0

Cooldown: 100

Here is the suggested skill build:

1. Mana Shield
2 - 3. Attribute Bonus
4. Mana Shield
5. Attribute Bonus
6. Stone Gaze
7. Mana Shield
8. Mana Shield
9. - 12. Mystic Snake
13. Split Shot
14. Stone Gaze
15. Split Shot
16. Stone Gaze
17 - 18. Split Shot
19 - 25. Attribute Bonus

Brief explanation to skill builds:

1. Medusa doesn't have a lot of HP early on. She makes up for it however by having one of the best protective skills in the game; Mana Shield. She also has a very good nuke in the form of her Mystic Snake that not only helps her push and harass enemies but also steals mana to help fuel both it and your Shield. Together they are your two best spells early on and should be learnt first.

2. Split Shot on the other hand is more useful once you have some damage so learn it later to further boost your pushing and farming powers.

3. Level 2 Stone Gaze can be gotten at 14 instead of 11 as the added benefits of the increased slow is rather small.

4. Some me disagree on taking Mystic Snake so late but look at it this way. Mystic Snake is unreliable early on as it can be easily dodged and pushes the lane. By taking Mana Shield and stats you are increasing your chances of laning and even harassing safely and leaves your Mystic Snake for when you really need it during the mid game where enemies generally tend to start to push together.
