Hello. This is my first guide to PlayDota. This guide features Terrorblade, originally known for making killer illusions, sucking the HP out of his opponents, and his "Sunder" ability. But now since 6.72, there has been some changes to TB, mainly his first 3 skills. IMHO, he could use a name change rather than still using "Soulkeeper"

This guide will cover his skill builds, item builds and strategies. This guide is intended for those who are new to DotA or those who are new to Terrorblade.

======================
Introduction----------
======================

TerrorBlade
Soulkeeper

Pros:
+ High min/max damage (6 damage difference)
+ High AGI gain
+ Above average movespeed
+ Very high attack speed

Cons:
- Low starting STR/ Low health
- Low STR gain
- Even lower INT gain
- No Fucking disable

======================
Skills----------------
======================

• Your ONLY ganking skill. Terrorblade deserves better than this.
• It's use is to slow enemies for chasing or escaping(which TB is not known for)
• Useful against INVI heroes as when casted on them (while invi or going invi), the illusion will follow. Making chasing easier.
• Take this early when in dual/tri-lanes.

• Zeal makes up for your lost "Soul Steal" ability and low HP problems.
• Your main source of attack speed.
• Taken 1st for survivability and for easier last hitting.

• Makes up for the skill "Conjure Image"
• Metamorphosis illusions also gain the IAS from Zeal
• Downside of this skill is that when morphed, your 310MS is reduced to 300MS. Best used when you have "Reflection" skilled.

• Terrorblade's signature move, be able to switch your current HP with your Target's HP.
• Can be used to turn the tables in any match when used at the right moment. Also causes a ministun so you can cancel channeling spells
• Sacrificial move too. You can save your teammates with this skill.

Skill Build-----------
======================

I.A. Solo Lane

1. Zeal
2. Metamorphosis
3. Metamorphosis
4. Zeal
5. Metamorphosis
6. Sunder
7. Metamorphosis
8. Zeal
9. Zeal
10. Stats/Reflection
11. Sunder
12-15. Stats/Reflection
16. Sunder
17-25. Stats/Reflection(if you didn't max it)

Explanation: Zeal should be skilled first as your low HP and regen will not help you survive in any way. Metamorphosis is however maxed first because it will be your main damage source, good for last hitting(You are a CARRY. You must deal DAMAGE!!).

===

I.B. Dual/Tri-Lane Carry

1. Zeal
2. Reflection
3. Metamorphosis
4. Zeal
5. Metamorphosis
6. Sunder
7. Metamorphosis
8. Metamorphosis
9. Zeal
10. Zeal
11. Sunder
12-15. Stats/Reflection(Max)
16. Sunder
17-25. Stats

Explanation: Zeal skilled first because you need the survivability. Reflection is for chasing/escaping functions and should only be skilled once since 5 seconds is really long. Metamorphosis is maxed first once again because YOU are a CARRY. Get your last hits with Metamorphosis.

===

I.C. Dual/Tri-Lane Support

1. Zeal
2. Reflection
3. Zeal
4. Reflection
5. Metamorphosis
6. Sunder

Explanation: Zeal for survivability. 2 levels of Reflection for better slow. Metamorphosis for damage/last hitting/harassing. Up to level 6? Because I got tired of typing and since there is IA and IB, you should know what to put there. And since you suck at being a CARRY, you can mess up what your build can be after LVL6

======================
Item Build------------
======================

II.A. Solo Lane Build

Explanation: Salve is self-explanatory. To ensure survivability, you will need the extra stats from the "Good Game" branches. LVL1 Zeal won't be enough to help you regenerate when you're up against a tri-lane of nukes. TRUST ME, Vengeful + Earthshaker + Tidehunter hurts very, very much. Chick is for yourself (pub), unless someone shares their chick.

===

II.B. Dual/Tri-Lane Build
(Recipe)

Explanation: Extra stats from branches will help your survivability. When you get that 200 gold, just get that magic stick from the side shops and you're done. Ring of protection is for an early Ring of Basilius. If someone is going to make RoB, avoid buying Ring of Protection.

===

• Then when well farmed.

Explanation: Even with just boots, you can KILL heroes with ease. Get your HP down to a reasonable %(avoid stuns though), Sunder, Metamorphosis in their face and attack.

---

• Mid-Game

OR

OR replace Sange/Yasha for:

Explanation: Sange for more HP + Maim OR Yasha for movespeed + Attack speed + Damage. Get both to make your late game item, Sange and Yasha. If well farmed, you might want to get Ultimate Orb, for your luxury item, Eye of Skadi. No need to explain for MKB.

Seriously, DAGON is a noob item. It makes the game less fun

---

• Late Game/Luxury

OR

Explanation: Since you are now a DPS (cause of MKB/Sange&Yasha), and be killing everyone who gets in your way, YOU are a primary target for all disables and nukes. Solution = BKB+Linken. Since late game is all about pushing and more ganking, you need the Boots of Travel. Eye of Skadi is for chasing (incase you didn't skill Reflection which I sometimes do). Butterfly is self explanatory.

======================
Strategies------------
======================

I will only cover the mostly used strategies used for Terrorblade. Other strategies can be self-learned and/or be obtained from watching replays.

III.A. Solo Terrorblade VS Solo Hero
Pretty much straight forward. Get your last hits and avoid getting harassed too much early on because Zeal can't keep up unlike SoulSteal which you can tank all damage. Harass the other hero by using Metamorphosis ALOT and eventually, the other hero will have to go back to the fountain to regenerate. It's very possible to kill if your opponent is a soft hero. Take alot of damage, Sunder, then metamorphosis to kill.

III.B. Solo Terrorblade VS Dual/Tri-lane
The whole early game you will be tower hugging. If your opponents are skill types, your magic stick will be very useful. When killing a hero in a dual/tri-lane, always Sunder the one with the most HP. You can harass 2 heroes then when you need the HP, Sunder the one which you didn't harass much. Metamorphosis' illusions will help you alot to harass/kill.

III.C. Dual/Tri-lane Terrorblade VS Solo Hero
This is very easy. Your role will be to slow the hero. Metamorph when needed and kill. If you can't kill, then your lane is n00b.

III.D. Dual/Tri-lane Terrorblade VS Dual/Tri-lane
Cast reflection on the whole lane when fighting. This will get their HP down slowly. When they try to get near you, use Metamorphosis then attack. It will force them to go back and the lane is in your control again. Chase with reflection and kill. If you are a target of nukes, get your magic stick and Sunder finger ready. Sunder the hero with most HP, use magic stick when you see a flying stun/casting animation.
