Item Build

Early Game

You should first buy the Magic Wand, because it will help you many times. I often survived because of that item or had enough mana left because of the wand to kill an enemy with Fade bolt. It also gives you a +3 stat. The tango is if you are at low HP, you can use it and regain some HP.

After you bought that items you should buy a bottle, as it gives you HP if you got low HP and mana to kill the enemys if they got low HP with Fade Bolt.


Then you need boots. The best ones are arcane boots, because they give you mana and this is very useful in some moments as escaping (Telekinesis) or to kill an enemy
(Fade bolt | Stolen Ulti/Spell).

So your core building should look like :




Then you will need some armor, so buy an plate mail.
We will use this for Shivas guard as the item alone isn't worth the space.
So after you bought this, you will need to collect 2700 gold for a Mystic Staff.

So when you bought this, you will only need 600 gold more for the recipe. Shivas guard is very useful as it grants slow and 200
damage. It also gives you much mana.

As everybody knows, int heros don't got much HP. So I prefer you to get a bloodstone. It gives you much HP and much mana. It also grants a great regenaration of both. So if you want to survive in late game, I prefer you to get it.
So now your items should be :







Tactic :
If you are Rubick, then you must spamm then with Fade bolt, as it only costs 95 mana and Rubick got 500.
It has a fast cooldown so you can spam them with the spell.
So 5 x 75 = 375.
But don't use your full mana at start.
Use Fade bolt when you think it's necessary, because it's only a lvl 1 spell which doesn't make much damage.
When the spell is at lvl 2 you can use it often, but don't empty your mana by nuking all the time. If it's a lvl 3 spell, you can empty your mana as it deals 225 damage. This is alot and with a cooldown of 10 and a cost of 100 mana per use you can kill them very easy.
Spell steal tactics:
If you know other heros really good, then you may know their spells. What means you know what spell may be useful to steal.
If you are fighting or on a lane with a hard spell hero, then allways look at him, as he may cast a useful spell for you.
