Pudge In General



Firstly, lets make this clear. Pudge is not a complete support and is not a carry. He is a ganker and when successful levels faster than most gankers. His spells each work together and the killing combo can be changed in different circumstances.



Starting stats:

* Missile Speed: Instant
* Attack Range: 128 (melee)
* Sight Range: 1800 / 800


YOUR SPELLS:

Meat Hook



Launches a bloody hook at a unit or location. The hook will snag the first target it encounters, dealing damage then dragging the victim back to the Butcher.
Notes:
• Damage type: pure
• Invisible units can be hooked. Damage is dealt but the ministun is not.
• Meat Hook can go through cliffs, trees, structures and siege creeps.
• The tip of the Meat Hook is what drags the units to the Butcher, so touching the Meat Hook in any other part than its tip will not trigger its effect.
• Meat Hook deals damage and a ministun to enemy units, effectively interrupting them. Allied units can be dragged too, but neither the damage nor the ministun will be dealt to them.
• The actual length of the Meat Hook is 600/800/1000/1200.
• The '-ha' command can be used to know the accuracy of your hooks (number of enemy heroes hit / (number of enemy units hit + number of misses) )

Rot



Pudge releases the disease and filth inside of him, dealing intense damage and slowing surrounding enemies while hurting Pudge as well.
Notes:
• Damage type: magical
• Rot can be activated while using Dismember without interrupting it.
• Deals damage and slows invisible units as well.
• If Pudge is silenced while Rot is activated, he will not be able to de-activate it until the silence wears off.
• Pudge can deny himself using this skill.


Flesh Heap



Pudge is made of innumerable rotting corpses, giving him extra protection against spells as well as the chance to add more to his bulk.
Notes:
• Spell resistance stacks with that from items.
• Gains Strength for enemy heroes that die nearby (450 AoE), or if Pudge kills them.
• The ability is retroactive, meaning the strength gain will be adapted once you lvl up flesh heap.
• The '-fs' and '-fleshstr' commands can be used to know how much Strength you gained through this skill.

Dismember



Chows down on a target, causing excruciating pain. Lasts 3 seconds.
Notes:
• Damage type: magical
• Disable works on magic immune units.
• A unit affected by dismember will continue to be disabled and damaged even if it becomes invisible.
• Dismember is a channeling spell.
• Can be improved by Aghanim's Scepter.
• Improved version heals Pudge the same amount as it deals damage.

The Hook is used to get the enemy away from the comfortable position and into one where he is in threat( i.e. dont hook an ursa if he just killed 3 people from your team or your ulti is on cooldown. This will result in him killing you and the game will end in a loss).
The Rot is a primary chasing spell. It can be used for farming and also suicide in some cases if you time it right. The slow is very useful and if you have faster speed than the enemy you can rot them till they die.
Flesh Heap is best if you are getting alot of kills or if you are planning to tank. It reduces magical damage which weakens rot damage but ALSO gives you 1.8 str per hero killed in a 450 AoE at level 4 (including heroes you killed before you picked flesh heap). So if you have 5 hero kills in 450 AoE you gain 9 str!!!

EARLY GAME
Starting Items:
1.
9/10 (if you want to spam hook early and gank more effectively)

2. , /
7/10 (if you want to escape and chase early)

3. ANY COMBO OF:, ,
5/10(I never get stat items for pudge. Its your choice)

4. Bracer/Wraith Band/Null Talisman, tangoes 2/10 (You dont need the damage the, bracer may give you some hp but you already have the top 5 highest str gains and this will leave you with no mana regen)

MID GAME
For pudge, mid game starts at the 15 minute point and lasts until the 30 minute mark. If you have not reached level 8 by this point you have some catching up to do, but this doesn't make you useless. You can unleash the little bit of support that is in pudge. Just Dismember anyone of their team and your team has 3 seconds to use all their damage on that hero.

Your main killing combo should be:

(the "+" sign represents using the two spells right after each other while the "-->" sign means to use the next spells after but not neccessarily right after.)

In some cases you may be surrounded by ally and enemy creeps and your hook will be difficult to use without the creeps getting in the way. Use this combo to kill the enemy if there is only 1:

So you go in and ulti while rotting at the same time so basically while your rotting the creeps around you will die due to your rot as well as your enemy taking damage. The dead creeps will give you room to launch your hook.
