I. Foreword

Hey guys, thank you for reading my Furion guide, Furion is a very flexible hero with an extraordinary skillset, I don't mean to brag but I'm one of the few who can own with FUrion, many people just feed with him, His fighting cabilities are not as high compared to other heroes but his mobility due to his teleport skill allows him to be usefull to the team, so hes very strong in Professional Hands, On top of that he has great farming abilities that can make up for his medicore standard fightning power. Ontop of that he has some pushing power, I'm gonna teach you everything I know about Furion

II. Statics

The land is never safe. Furion, therefore, never rests. The leader of all Night Elves, Furion tirelessly works to protect the sanctity of his woods. It comes as no surprise that he who helped defeat Archimonde would be called upon once more in the Sentinel's hour of need. The fury of nature is at his disposal, the trees come to life at his command, the wind carries him to lands far away, and nature itself strikes all who defy his will. He is more than just a Keeper or a Prophet, he is a savior.

IV. A Closer Look on Furion's Spells

Sprout

Sprouts a ring of trees around a unit, trapping it in place.
Level 1 100 - Lasts for 3 seconds.
Level 2 120 - Lasts for 3.75 seconds.
Level 3 140 - Lasts for 4.5 seconds.
Level 4 160 - Lasts for 5.25 seconds.

11/10/9/8 seconds

Description:One of the longest lasting disables in the game also rather easily countered. The simpliest way is by buying a couple of tangoes and eat a tree when you summon them around the target. Some heroes can also cut down trees. Wild Axes and Spin Web are two examples. That means some heroes are pretty hard to catch.
This ability does not stun or silence your target, but only captures them in a prison, however, for a rather long periode. That means that some heroes can still cut down the trees with their abilities, eat their way through with tangoes or simply blink out. The target doesn't have sight behind the trees so if you for instance capture a lone enemy in the forest, he cannot see you or anything else unless you attack him of course.

Teleportation

Teleports to any explored point on the map.
Level 1 50- 50 seconds cooldown
Level 2 45- 40 seconds cooldown
Level 3 40- 30 seconds cooldown
Level 4 35- 20 seconds cooldown

50/40/30/20 seconds

Description:This is one of the most incredible skills in the game. 30 seconds cooldown and 35 mana cost is nothing. This ability is used for ganking, escaping, map exploring, ward placing - nearly everything.
This is one of the most incredible skills in the game. 20 seconds cooldown and 35 mana cost is nothing. This ability is used for ganking, escaping, map exploring, ward placing - nearly everything.
It allows you to teleport to anywhere you want on the map with only 1 exception; you cannot teleport to somewhere that you did not explored. You did not explored the places that are still hard black - the Black Mask areas. Someone needs to have been there once before you can teleport to it. When you teleport to somewhere, it can be seen by the enemies because there will be a small effect where you teleport to. Finally, it takes as long as a Scroll of Town Portal or Boots of Travel (~3 seconds) to cast.

Force of Nature

Converts an area of trees into Treants. Treants have 550 hit points and deal 21-23 damage.
Level 1 160- Raises 2 Treants for 60 seconds.
Level 2 160- Raises 3 Treants for 60 seconds.
Level 3 160- Raises 4 Treants for 60 seconds.
Level 4 160- Raises 5 Treants for 60 seconds.

37 seconds

Description:The treants are really fine tanks, especially when jungling. These treants make Furion one of the best junglers and one of the few heroes that doesn't rely on things like Bottles, runes or creep pulling. The treants are also good for tower pushing and scouting, but they are not to too good for hero killing purposes.
Leveling the skill doesn't make the treants stronger, it only summons more of them. Each treant has 550 health, 21-23 damage and 0 armor (type: heavy). The 550 health and 21-23 damage make them great tanks they also have a 33% magic resistance, when jungling early in the game and good tower push along with Furion himself. Every treant has a rather low bounty reward around 20 gold. When you summon the treants, make sure to target more trees. If you target a single tree, only one or two treants will appear.

Wrath of Nature(Ultimate)

Summons damaging energy to swath around the map and damage random enemies. Each enemy hit beyond the first adds 7% damage. Number of bounces increases per level.
Level 1 150- Deals 140 (155*) base damage, has a maximum of 12 targets
Level 2 175- Deals 180 (210*) base damage, has a maximum of 14 targets
Level 3 200- Deals 225 (275*) base damage, has a maximum of 16 targets
(*=Aghanim effect)

90/60/60 Seconds

Level 2: Teleportation
Level 3: Force of Nature
Level 4: Sprout
Level 5: Force of Nature
Level 6: Wrath of Nature
Level 7: Teleportation
Level 8: Sprout

Level 12: Teleportation
Level 13: Sprout
Level 14: Force of Nature
Level 15: Stats
Level 16: Wrath of Nature
Level 17-25: Stats

Explanation of this skill build :

-You need at least three levels in Force of Nature to tank the neutralcreeps. You need those three treants because at the neutral camp withthe twolittle blue satyrs 2 will get purged of nearly instantly. also with 3 levels of Force of Nature you can use the summoned Treants to kill 2 camps of Neutral creeps with them

-Teleportation at Level 2 is needed to escape ganks from enemies thatare searching for you inthe forest and also come back faster after adeath or a healing trip atyour fontain.

-Sprout at Level 4 is because this in combination with teleportationmakes you a ganking machine. It also allows you toescape ganks.

-Wrath of Nature on Level 6 forharrasing and helping in ganks withoutleaving the forest. Donīt Spamit if you will not have enough mana tocontinue your farming after this.

- The Rest of the Build is the most Logical to get

Lane Furion Skill Build:

First of all, this is somehow an alternative build since jungling Furion is much more effective ( IMO )

Level 1: Teleportation
Level 2: Sprout
Level 3: Stats
Level 4: Stats
Level 5: Stats
Level 6: Wrath of Nature
Level 7: Teleportation
Level 8: Teleportation

Level 13: Sprout
Level 14: Stats
Level 15: Stats
Level 16: Wrath of Nature
Level 17-20: Force of Nature
Level 20-25: Stats

Explanation of this skill build :

-Teleport learned at Level 1 allows you to stay longer in your base thanother heros or can be used for some guick lane changing if you see thatthe lanes are messed up.

- You Learn Sprout at Level two because it is again your only disable.

-You take the next three points in Stats because you will need it tosurvive the lane and it will help you last hitting and harrasing.

- Take your Ultimate at level 6 with the same reason the Jungle Furion should take it.

- The Rest of the Build is the most Logical to get

VI. Item Builds

Starting Items for Jungle Furion

1.

This build helps you to farm in Jungle as long as possible without the need to back to base, good choice for people who are new to Furion and cant use Treants good enough to farm(using them to kill as many camps as possible)

2.

This build is Recommended for Pro players, Gloves of haste helps you DPS the neutrals faster and better while treants tank them and is a needed Item for Hand of Midas which you should farm as fast as possible, if you got it before 9 minutes it will help you get very rich In later around +20 minutes of the game(casting hand of midas on the strongest Neutral creeps will give you 185 bonus gold plus the creeps original gold, which will be 285)

Starting Items for Lane Furion

1.

This build is best if you gonna Participate in Ganks with your lane partner, good stats and you can stay in lane longer due to restoration items, and you can turn 2 gauntlets into Urn of shadows and GG branches into wand

2.

This build is best if your gonna babysit someone, also it gives you everything you need, stats and Hp Regen, the good thing is your allies will also benefit from it

Warding

It doesn't matter if you jungle or Lane, Furion is the best Warder in the game, Thanks to his Teleportation skill, also he needs Warding the most, cause map awareness is very Important for him, Learn how to ward Properly Here:

Core Item Build for Jungle Furion

You should be able to get these Items around 10-15 minutes of the game, based on how fast you farm and your deaths, as I mentioned earlier we get hand of midas ASAP, later complete a power Thread and keep it in STR,a bracer is also recommended

Core Item Build for Lane Furion

Assuming most of the times you help your allies to gank, you don't earn much money In lane, so core for lane is cheaper than Jungle, get a power thread and keep it in STR, Urn of shadows is also Important, Magic wand also helps Furion a lot, you will change void stone to Guinsoo's

Luxury Items

There are so many Luxury builds for Furion, and Trust me I used all of them, now I'm telling you the most effective ones

If you Jungeled, then you should be pretty rich by now, If you got hand midas and used it properly you can Outgold nearly all other enemy heroes, you can even get more rich! by buying this Item:

Each usage of ultimate upgraded with Aghanim's Scepter will give AT LEAST 400 gold, 400 gold every minute! who can refuse this? also it stops the pushes in all three lanes

Luxury Items for Rich Prophet

First of all there is no way for Lane Furion to get rich, You must jungle in order to get rich, If you follow all the Instructions I gave you and just do as I said in Strategy section your Inventory can look like this around 25-30 minutes of the game:

As I said before Aghanim's Scepter will help you to get more rich, Monkey King Bar is gotten because of the damage increase and especially the mini bash. Furion has a fine attack speed and especially with Power Treads and hand of midas which make him a deadly damager , Euls's is also VERY helpful in your ganking, read Strategy Section

Luxury Items for Poor Prophet

If you have chosen to lane, then you have chosen to Support your Team, so you don't need to be rich, actually you can't be, In this build we focus On Items that will help your team gank, Your Inventory should be like this around 25-30 minutes of the game:

you should Rush Guinsoo's scythe of vyse as fast as possible, Buy
Aghanim's Scepter too if you got its money before the 30 minutes of the game

Optional Items

You can Consider these Items on above items if you and your teams need them more, or you just want to

Manta Style makes you hard to focus through single targetting and it also improves your damage because you have two images that shoot on the targets

Good damage and Reducing the Armor helps you do more damage, not a bad Item, but I rather MKB

Again a good Item, get this when the heroes on enemy team are highly resistance to physical damage, this will rape them, cause you have a good AS

Diffusal Blade is also a really good build-up with Manta Style and obviously because of it's Purge.

This Item must be gotten if enemy has heroes with Invisibility or they are mass warding, I don't see a reason to not get it

Last Slots

If you got all the Items I mentioned in Luxury and the game is not finished yet, feel free to chose from any of these below, also you can sell hand of midas if your Inventory is full Already, and It served you well

VII. Strategy

Early Game

The first thing you need to decide is whether you should jungle or not. In 95% of the cases, you should jungle because Furion is built for this. Whether you should go into a lane or not is dependant on the teammate that you leave to solo. If he really needs help, you should go and help him but else you should go to the jungle. start by buying the items i mentioned in the Item Builds section. This strategy will mainly be based on jungling. If you are laning, you will just be last hitting/denying like any other heroes and Helping them Gank, it doesn't really take much more descriptions than this. but If you have to lane, you must pull neutral creeps, therefore get only 1 level of Force of Nature, there is no one better than Furion who can do it, cause you can destroy trees and Pull even more Neutral Creeps, Follow the steps in this Image:

Jungle: Before you take off, summon two trees at the fountain. Send them towards your enemies' top and bottom second towers. Wait till 1:40 and send them towards the place you want to creep. Make sure not to place them directly on a creepcamp spot before 2:00 as this will prevent the creeps from spawning. When you have full mana (approx 5 seconds later, run towards the creep camp yourself). You must explore these locations for many reasons, Teleporting there and Gank a low hp fleeing hero and etc..The Image will explain more:

Try not to go back to the fountain untill you are level 3, but If you really need a fountain trip though, don't hesitate.

Keep jungling untill you are around level 6. If your teammates are good harassers, you can try to get an early first blood by popping out of the forest, sprouting and killing an enemy between level 4-6. From level 6 and above you should start controlling the rune spots with Observer Wards and Teleportation and try to gank as many heroes as possible from this stage of the game. Always know where your enemies are and always be aware if some of them are on low health. Furion is one of the best early and middle game gank initiators because of his Teleportation and his Sprout. He can pop out where he wants when he wants it and 3-4 seconds disable from one single hero is insane. Utilize this as much as possible in order to help your teammates gain the upper hand of their lanes. Bring fear into your enemies' hearts by suddenly popping out and get a kill. Mostly you shall not sit and wait for your teammates to gank, but initiate them yourself.

Mid Game

in this stage try to farm more than always. always be ready to gank with your teammates but also try to farm a lot as well. push down lonely towers, especially the three outer onces if they aren't Destroyed yet. Be careful with staying too far at the enemies' ground. Again, always watch the map. Know where your enemies are. Be ready to escape or to teleport in and get a kill. Have at least two wards up at all time. Spam Wrath of Nature as much as possible as it's your main farming ability.

The most important thing during the middle game is map awareness because it's about this time the most ganks are going on. It's important to know where everyone is and what they are doing. If an enemy is not on the map he is probably ganking someone somewhere and it might even be you. Always look out for an opportunity to gank someone. Sometimes, teleport in and assist your teammates in their ganks, but mostly you should be the gank initiator just like in the early game.

Team battles happen often already during the middle game. When fighting in a team combat, the most important thing is your position. Because of Furion's general low health, try not to position yourself so you get targetted. If you stand right up in the front you are most likely to get targetted because you have low health and are an easy target. Therefore try to position yourself in the back. You are a ranged damage dealer and should act like this and not as a tank. Try to disable the hostile heroes that your team wants to focus.

Using Guinsoo or Euls on the enemies' main damage dealer such as Razor, Nevermore, Obsidian Destroyer or Faceless Void can many times be useful if your team can take down one or two enemies meanwhile without taking too much damage. Try to dish out as much damage as possible from a range where you feel safe and disable your enemies as much as possible. If you see a huge battle coming, saving Wrath of Nature can be a good idea because the damage can be pretty useful

Late Game

The time of the big battles have come. People are gathering more in groups now and they gank less. This means you don't need as much awareness and the wards become less important. It's still important to know where your enemies are though. Don't lose your map awareness completely.

In the big fights, your job is to disable the hero(es) that your team wants to focus and then dish out loads of damage. Try to avoid getting killed. Do not rush in and get yourself torn apart. Let your tank tank and disable and kill whatever you can. Always try to follow your team when they gank and don't play as a soloer. If there is no ganking or no combats going on, farm with caution in your forest or in a lane. Just make sure you stay alive because you are an important piece in your team.
The main things in the late game is to disable, dish out damage and most important to stay alive.

The End game is mostly about pushing. With the correct items, Furion can actually make short work on towers/rax. Use your Wrath Of Nature whenever it's cooldown is done. Teleport to an unattended lane immediately and push as hard as possible for 2-3 waves, then stay back, wait for a while, and teleport to another lane and do the same thing. I highly suspect that there would be any lone wanderers around in the map right now, but if there is, then teleport there and stop him if u can.

VIII. Special Tactics

there are Special tactics about Furion, which are very useful, always use them to have more map awareness and

1.Using Shift Button

When ordering a unit to do something, Hold shift key and give multiple commands they will obey them one after an other after finish the current one, so select Furion and his treants hold shift and order them to attack all of Creeps in Neutral camps, notice the flags appearing on top of units you ordered them to attack, after killing one all of them will Automatically begin to attack the other one, while Furion and his treants are killing the Neutral creeps themselves look around map and see if the enemy heroes are missing or when you see you can kill someone tell your allies and Teleport there and score a kill

2.First Target of Wrath of Nature

check all three lanes and see which lane have the enemy creeps with lowest HP, target a dying creep( red HP) with wrath of nature so you will get its gold and since the other creeps are low HP and Wrath natures damage increases with each bond you will get as many gold as possible with this tactic

3.Fake Teleportation

you can use Fake Teleportation for many purposes, one can be saving your ally or making Fear in your enemies, for example when a hero attack a tower alone Teleport there then press "S" he might think that a gank is incoming and flee, or when your ally is fleeing use teleport where the enemy can see its Animation so he may reconsider chasing your ally

IX. Ganking with Furion

Furion is one of the good gankers in game, One thing to keep in mind though. Not all heroes are your target. You have to pick and choose your target wisely. This is how it works.

1. Choose your target.
(Not all heroes are your meal. You need to choose wisely. Go for those heroes which has no disable/stun/blink or have least, even watch them and emerge after you saw them using it so by the time you reach there it will be on cooldown. Access your target wisely. If he is 2-3 levels higher than u, then don't go. If hes range nad has Higher damage/attack speed than you, then don't go. Think properly before you go. If their heroes out numbered you, don't go.)

2. When u see the chance, teleport there.
(Don't just teleport there. Think of which spot is the best place. Some heroes have AOE stun, which u don't want to teleport anywhere near him. Most of the time, i would just teleport myself between the enemy hero and his excape route.)

3. Sprout him. Hit him a few times.

4. Cyclone or hex him when he is about to run out of sight.
(Do not cyclone or hex him once your sprout wears off. You still have time. Eul's and Guinsoo ranges are quite far. Hit hit a few more time, and just before he is about to disappear in the fog, cyclone or hex him. You will be able to get in 1-2 more hits by doing so, and at the same time, allowing more time for your Sprout to cooldown.)

5. Cast Force Of Nature on nearby trees and surround enemy with treants / distract enemy creeps / block excaping path.
(Command all your treants to surround your enemy hero. Place your treants so that your enemy hero is between you and your treants, thus, putting him in a difficult possition to excape even in the opposite direction. Just make sure your treants are just next to the enemy hero so when he drops down from the cyclone or hex time ends, your treants can surround him and help you whack)

6. Sprout enemy again, and whack.
(If you follow the steps correctly, you will be able to sprout the enemy hero TOGETHER with your treants inside it, thus making it taking damage from you normal hits as well as your treants. Meanwhile cast wrath of nature on a further line so a high damaging bond reaches the enemy hero and damage him nicely.)

7. Enjoy your Gank and Bounty Gold

X. Friends and Foes

Friends

You can Gank very good with these 2 Bitches, they are Range and have good damage, but make sure Windrunner donr'tuses Power shot to Destroy Trees of Sprout, Traxex gives you and herself good damage, and finally windrunner can increase the Duration of disable even more by adding hers since she can use the trees of sprout to stun and its Duration continues even when the trees are gone

Keep enemies close to this heroes with sprout while they want to cast their ultimates and watch how they die very fast

All range heroes with good damage or Melee heroes with blink are good match with Furion, and PotM is an Special mention cause with sprout you can let her Easily land a 5 seconds stun thus keeping an enemy hero perma-disabled and she can Nuke all heroes caught inside with her starfall

The global strategy is a very strong strategy with Furion as a keystone. Generally, the point is that the lineup aims to be able to move around the map with as much ease as possible or be able to affect players at global range (Global Silence, Hand of God, Haunt, Thundergod's Wrath and Ice Blast), hence to turn e.g. a 1v3 combat to a 4v3 or 5v3 combat in no time. Tinker has Rearm + Boots of Travel, Furion has Teleportation, Beastmaster has his hawk, it gives the team a great scout) and Zeus, Silencer, Chen, Spectre and Kaldr have their global ultimates.

Foes

Escapers are hard to gank for Furion, but this Doesn't mean they will kill you 100% but they will give you a hard time (brood mother can destroy trees with spin web and render herself invisible)

Getting Silenced is bad for Furion, but yet again he is more Useful than all other silenced INT heroes

well this hero counters everyone and Furion is no exception

Enfeeble Reduces your usefulness by 60% , be careful against this hero
