I've been playing DotA for almost 6 years but still, I've not made any guide yet. With my little knowledge about my most favorite hero - Naga Siren, I want to contribute for DotA community my very first and foremost guide. Any advice,discussion and suggestions are highly appreciated.
I hope you will like my guide and it shall help you to understand and
improve your skills when playing this hero.
Naga Siren has a handy net that can pin down a target for long durations, but they are still able to attack and cast so it's best not to underestimate them as helpless. This is why Slithice uses Mirror Images to both confuse and outnumber her disabled enemies, each able to consistently land Critical Strikes. The Siren's Song has been known to put to sleep even the greatest of warriors at an instant, from long ranges, and for lengthy durations. This ability allows her to get out of trouble rather easily, or setup her own. It also provides a window of opportunity to take down structures, as sleeping guards have never proven useful.
Slithice was always a vagabond among the Naga, roaming beyond the boundaries of the sea in search of new things. During her adventures she met and fell in love with a young Orc training to be a Blademaster. Though he was inexperienced he taught her many Orcish fighting tactics employed by seasoned warriors. During their courtship as she was learning how to make traps from a local raider, a swarm of Scourge came and invaded, and her love was killed before her very eyes. She used her Naga magics to put the evil to sleep and fled, and now gives her all to the Sentinel, in the name of her love.

During the casting, Slithice is invulnerable. This can be used to avoid spell and attack damage.
Upon cast most effects will be removed from Slithice.
If Slithice is targeted with an attack or skill before the attacker is in range and she uses Mirror Image the attacker will hit the real Slithice.

Releases a melody around you the puts enemy units to sleep while they are in your range. Units wake up if you leave the area or the duration of the melody runs out. Slithice can choose to end the melody at any point.

• Sleeping units are invulnerable until the end of the spell.
• Enemy units wake up when you leave the area, or at the end of the duration.

On early game, we will discuss what you should do throughout the phase of the game.
Before I present about solo mid naga siren,I want to talk about dual lane and Tri lane

Not suggested.Please never ever do it........Dual lane means double lame. It just keep you under-leveled with 0 kill. Exceptional situation is with a babysitter.
This is common practice in high-level pub, in-house and competitive play. Your lane partner combo should consist of ganker,stunner, and supporter.And you should get a level of Ensnare for first blood attempt.
If you able to communicate well and your lane partners know what are they are doing, they should pin down and gank your laning opponent, reserving last hit for you. This is crucial for Slithice to carry a game.
Sum up, your lane partner should not take last hit while you are the one should.
On the first level, you would be farming and taking last hit if you follow the game flows properly.
If you had an easy lane,a word to say is FARM.Summon your motivation to farm as much as possible. On the other hand, if you are facing supreme lane opponent, just stay back and leech EXP. You can get the loss by prosperity later on.
Once you reached the third level, summon your illusion and send one to the nearby rune spawn. Using your image as a ward is a viable act and aided your mid solo allies to rune whoring.Afterward,send two of your illusions and issued a command to harass them and cast rip tide.This annoyed your opponent and they will maneuver out of creeps range while hit-and-run the attacking .They just cannot stand of being nuked and stabbed without doing anything. Simultaneously,you earned a few free times last hit and denying.Sometimes,you can even help your jungling allies with your illusions.
Using fog of war is viable in normal and standard public game, but in serious high-level game, wards are often being purchased to ward such specific spot, which giving lane opponent warning and sign of incoming gank.
Let your lane mates to disable the enemies while you are summoning image at the same time. Afterward, move on by immobilize the targeted opposition and cast rip tide.Proceed to beat the target down. If this combo is not as lethal as expected, another disable followed up should finish the "object-in-cross hair.”
If condition permitted, make sure you aimed for the last hit, as the 200 bonus gold is invaluable to you.Rip tide can also be used as a KS mechanism.
Make sure you control the spam of Mirror Image, as your manapool is not that fantastic. It is a plus if you had the backup manapool such as Crystal Maiden's brilliant aura,Keeper of the Light's Chakra Magic.Everyone loves arcane boot holder.
In level four to level 5, you should be able to rack down some kill and proceed to your first core item or two(like diffusal blade and yasha).After you have been built up, you can now goes to jungle to take down a few neutral camps as your source of income. Remember, you are on solo neutral camps hence your EXP would be bumping in no time.
Alternatively, you can stay put to your lane and farm like the old day.
After you reached the sixth level mark and acquired Song of the Siren, you are virtually invincible, I repeat! You would be runaway safety in a gank impossible to escape when you had Song of the Siren in disposal.
Feel free to cast Song of the Siren to save your lane partner if undergo heavy injuries. A level one Song of Siren had incredible duration of seven seconds,more than doubled any other long duration disables combined.With this cool spell, your team's survivability chance is almost 100%.But,you know to be wise is the key here....For the best safe escape for the whole team,only TP after your allies have using TP.
Sorry,dual and tri lane naga is none of my topic.
Solo mid (A-)
Now it's the turn of solo mid naga siren.She can be a potentate
in mid,go and ask Lapis Lazuli if she was a good solo laner.
To my way of thinking,Naga siren should get about Rank A- because
she doesn't have self-sufficiency and also a melee.That's all!
In early game,
you start out with 3 ironwood branches and get empty bottle
as soon as possible.
Also what you need most is bottle-run-courier.
so don't be stingy too much.
Let your supporters buy a specific courier for you.
Buy courier recipe by yourself.
Please don't give any extra burdens to your supporters.
Based on the skills set, We will get a level of Rip Tide to guarantee last-hitting.If you think you are suck at last-hitting,never hesitate to use rip tide.
All you need is to harass your laning opponent and
especially to survive and farm like a Jew,act like Boo for Jew.
Advance to the third level, as you acquired the second level of Ensnare.
In level 3,now you can get a boot for illusions to go farther
(not to walk like mannequins),
as you acquired both the level of Mirror Image and Rip tide,
use Mirror image and send 2 illusion to each side lane or send 2 illusions to side lanes
where is hex caster like (DW and Shadow Shaman)
and the last illusion to nearest camp.
You Feel Weird!!!??
Here what I mean------>When a illusion come near the creeps and spam your rip tide,you have to do this 3-4 times for creeps to be killed (you will hate forest high priests for their heals.
EXP would be bumping,if you are near by when neutral creeps die.
Additional fact here is whenever your illusions see a rune,destroy it if your allies are unable to pick it up.Everyone knows forsaken rune is better than given rune.
Be wise when you use ensnare.
Make sure that you ensnare the disablers and melee heroes to keep in
Word-for-noobs - ensnare the most jeopardizing hero!
Once you broke into level 7,early-mid game come.

Yes, another early game scenario but is gank-orientated. On this level
you should be cautious about farming because gank come when you least
Consider TP scroll as your girlfriend.You need this to survive throughout the
game.Not even a competitive player would regard TP scroll as burden.
We would maximize Rip tide for maximum DPS output and increases gank
Now,you should double your map awareness and gank awareness.
Use your images to ward a specific spot if you are going to farm in lane.
because the opposition is now a daredevil, determined to hunt you down.
regardless of their lives. Hence, you require every early warning of the
incoming gank to warn you.
No dying!no dying on this hero! How stupid I am to say it out.....Even a noob knows it
If you take a level of song of the siren,all the difference is cooldown...180s,120s,60s.
1 minute is precious in dota game.So,it's highly recommended to take.
Take it if oppositon is having ganked too much.
Then,happily welcome their ganks, sing the lullaby and make sure to fall asleep all of your babies.
Stand there about 4secs and then just TP to the fountain. You spend 135 gold and they all waste 4secs.In my opinion, it's worth for an exchange and good for pleasure.

We all accept that naga siren is a well-known diffusal blade holder in Dota.
diffusal blade is a core item for naga...
Now I feel like diffusal blade is not as important as Radiance.
Never look down your own beliefs,bear in your mind that
nights of light so soon become.
Let me keep on my discussion.
By this time,you should get radiance(about 17-18mins of the game).
It's time for micro your illusions and push half-global.
After radiance,buy a vitality booster,if you wish to go for heart of tarrasque
as luxury or buy ultimate orb.If you think the game is going well,you should first get a BoT.
Make illusion assault mainly to nuker who might possibly have an AoE nuke.
First, you need to plan with your teammates to coordinate their attack
against stacked-up enemy forces.
Notify your initiator(like Sand king,Axe.Dark Seer)to take into position and
ready to unleash their lethal combo of spell.
Next, use your Song of the Siren when heroes advanced.
The long ranges of spell enable Slithice to put enemies to sleep even at far away.
Afterward, let your initiator to do their mops down; slaughtering every single opposition.
You would go in seconds,
Think twice before using ensnare
why not using ensnare? Ensnare is too precious to waste on your personalgreed.
You would use Diffusal blade to slow down an enemy and attack
while your Ensnare can hampered a hero with channelling spell. Cast
ensnare down on an opposition hero channelling spell, and end their reign
for the last time...in the team fight.
You might remember a sweet line. "My sorrow will be avenged"
You are supernova in late game.You summoned image, right clicking
the opposition supporter and squishy hero. After conjured Ensnare,
proceed to click and own.
For global pushing purpose,you might probably need to boost Hit points for sure.
If you are well fed, you will now have two luxuries at your inventory.
Other carries may still be perilous but your multiple-imaging heroes
would still pose lethal threats and lethal annihilation to the
Mana problem is all you have to face with from A to Z of the game,
you still need mana regeneration item.....
Never hesitate to buy a hex scepter and solve your mana problem.

- You just use mirror image,and he cast fatal bond on your gang of illusions....now you are in fatal situation.
Your nightmare is
- To clarify,earthshaker is only a threat when you are with your illusions.
Morphling can be a dangerous hero for Naga when he get ethereal blade. But,he can be easily beat down by Naga siren
- enchant your illusion and make you feel like as if your friends became your foes.

- His arcane orb is nightmare for your illusions and his ulti can be your death sentence, too.
