First Of all i want to apologize cause i have grammar mistakes cause im peruvian and im 15 years old LOL so well i hope you enjoy the guide anyway.



Well Akasha is one of my faorites heros cause of her spell damages + her unique versatility and the most important.. cause is so fun to play her

Akasha the queen of pain

(not a miniguide just a short one)

Background History

Akasha is one of the many souls claimed by the blade, Frostmourne. Raised to serve the Lich King as a Banshee, she desired to become pure substance once more. Driving deep into the forests, she was able to subdue and possess a Succubus minion. Rightly bearing the title, Queen of Pain, she enjoys nothing more than inflicting massive damage on her foes, using both the poisonous strikes of her succubus host and the vicious howls retained from her Banshee nature. Akasha breaks her enemies' eardrums with torturing screams, some so loud they manifest into powerful waves that ripple across the lands, shattering all in their wake.

Introduction:

Well akasha is such a versatile hero that can play lots of roles on the team thats why is usually picked in league matches or competitive games now ill explain why... she can be played as spellcaster cause her spells hurt.. a lot and even more to low hp heros her int growth is very good that makes her base damage very good too and thats why she could be carry if you give her attack speed and more damage. she can push and she can gank too there are so many builds for her skills and items and all of that will be explained in this guide (rate 10 and leave your comments)

My way to play her

well i play her as versatile as i can so if for example our naga siren is 0 - 15 then i take the carry role... (just an example)

Shadow Strike

Level 1 - 50 initial damage 10 damage every 3 seconds
Level 2 - 70 initial damage 20 damage every 3 seconds
Level 3 - 70 initial damage 40 damage every 3 seconds
Level 4 - 100 initial damage 50 damage every 3 seconds

Cooldown: 20/17/14/11
Manacost: 80/100/120/140

Hurls a poisoned dagger which deals large initial damage, and then deals damage over time. The poisoned unit has its movement speed slowed for a short duration. Slow quantity increases per level.

Blink

Level 1 - 700 range
Level 2 - 850 range
Level 3 - 1000 range
Level 4 - 1150 range

Cooldown: 12/10/8/6
Manacost: 60



Short distance teleportation that allows one to move in and out of combat.

Scream of Pain

Level 1 - 85 damage to each enemy
Level 2 - 165 damage to each enemy
Level 3 - 225 damage to each enemy
Level 4 - 300 damage to each enemy

Manacost: 140

The Queen of Pain lets loose a piercing scream, damaging nearby enemies.

Reminder: Only hits visible units and it has a bug that there is a delay of a fraction of a second in which using scream does... nothing (because of the fog not yet revealed)

Sonic Wave

Level 1 - 290 damage (*340)

Creates a gigantic wave of sound which deals heavy damage to all units in a line.

Core items:

Justifications:

We can start with tangos clarities and healing salve and maybe some branches then you buy bottle cause your mid solo (in most of cases) and youll harass with spells so youll need bottle (optional)

Well after that we buy 3 bracers or 3 nulls depending of the situation in my case i prefer nulls cause it increases your damage and mana pool.

then we go for the power treads str cause it gives you more HP attack speed and movement i prefer to buy treads cause is cheaper and grants you attack speed and the needed movement speed cause with a good stuner allie you wont need travel.

If we buyed treads then getting orchild is not so difficult cause you saved some money by not buying travel...

sometimes a lot of people discuss about getting ginzo or orchild well orchild i guess cause it grants you silence so they wont disable you and scape then it grants attack speed and more mana regeneration.

Luxuries

Spellcaster:
Guinzo scythe of vyse: Well guinzo for more support for your allies and for your ganks.
Khadgar pipe of instinct: pipe ever more support and cause youll be the disablers target.
Eye of skadi: Is expensive but every sigle gold you spent on this one is worth cause this is just imba and slow for allies.

Semi carry:
Desolator: find another orb for carry and then we talk.
Manta: well youre a semi carry this helps a lot.
Eye of skadiinstead of desolator. it gives you mana HP and a slow jusr more expensive =/

OPTIONALS

if youre going on spell/support build or semi carry this will help you and your allies.

1 charge per kill sounds good ? well yeah it sounds good cause youll have more HP reg and more MP reg with every kill you get and akasha is a killer hero it goes perfect but... is a little bit expensive and youre not a tank but is a little bit viable .

More DPS and damage it fits good but not really good thats why is optional.

Fits on support/spellcaster role really well microing is the problem for some players. (not for me D

goes with spellcaster cause it improves your ultimate but sometimes is better to get a damage item cause your spells are less strong at late game but anyways it helps a lot.

disables wont touch you and that all i need to say.

Rejected items

often seen in publics and with this item they can get some kills but... you wont spent gold leveling this item and in late game it will be useless... you can get a better one.

doesnt worth it for real too expensive drains your mana and your ulti CD is only 135 secs.


STRATEGY


Levels 1 - 7:

After picking akasha you should buy some branches tangos and clarities. maybe a salve.
in case youre going to solo then you buy your bottle cause it gives you more mana and youll use scream of pain that is more spammable then grab some runes or refill your bottle with the team courier (if you play competitive is pretty sure theres going to be a courier)just lvl last hitting everything and try to deny as much as possible... take care if your enemy is a nuker and always try to think as him for example youre laning he has mana for 1 attack and is an stun that doesnt damage you a lot but anyways he starts approaching to you then you can be sure but really sure that theres another enemy close that wants to help your lane enemy then you should be ready for anything.

Levels 7 - 12

You should have your treads 3 nulls or bracers your bottle and almost your orchild when you hit 12(at least 2 oblivions or 1 and a half)

try focusin on ganks and at lvl 12 if you ganked and anyone ksed you then you should be in a dominating spree maybe.

Levels 12 - 16

you have your complete core and going for skadi you just kill as much as you can and that will be a good lvl burst maybe wicked sick is enough for skadi (farm with scream of pain cause you have orchild so mana is not a real problem)

Levels 16 - 25

Well it never happens to me so i hope it never happens to you that you become weaker in this levels but with your skadi is really rare that you become weaker just farm the items you think are more needed keep killing and push when theyre all dead. your AoE will help a lot.


Levels aclaration

Well in my lvl explains is what i do in most of my games but sometimes you wont kill so much cause there are others that need to kill so then you support after going for orchild you can get necromicon ginzo or pipe. im just saying about getting items at some levels but if you can get them before then is ok


Dodging spells

well this technique is for more advanced players with good timing and it consists on blinkin before a targeted stun hits you or any tipe of targeted spell.

Escaping

Ok in this case youll have to know all the map i mean know the shortcuts and not always run to your base you can let them follow you and then blink behind them and run to the other direction.


SKILL USAGES

Blink
Blink is the skill that makes QoP cause she could have scream shadow and sonic but without a blink you cant get a good position to cast if you know what i mean cause if you enter fights running then 1, 2, 3 disables and youre dead blink also makes you almost ungankable but not unkillable ^^ thanks to this skill you can escape, gank, mindgame your opponent, juke, enter fights, etc. anything else to say?


Scream of pain
Well this skill is really powerfull cause its AoE with a lot of damage it will give you 90% of your kills for real and with this one you can farm too... is really imba at early game and in late game is weaker but still powerful and this is one of the reasons why disables target you cause they have low HP and you kill them in secs with your combo.

Sonic Wave
After you blink then you cast SoP and then you just attack attack attack... then you cast shadow on 1 of the 5 enemies (if anyone had already died) and then BOOM this spell will kill all the fleeing heros.. is more useful at the end of the clash but if you have potent chasers gankers and that kinda stuff with stuns slows and that type of spells then you could just combo with sonic wave too and then chase with shadow strike and hitting till SoP is usable again or you kill em... but remember only use sonic wave at the beginning when your team has at least 2 powerful stuners chasers gankers and all that stuff cause if you use it at the begining and theres no chasing potential i mean youre a good chaser but you cant deal with them alone with no finisher and then theyre all alive... try to cast everything at least twice before finish em with his one.


Shadow strike
This is your dual lane and your gank spell use this to harass on double lane but if youre soloing then get 1 lvl of this one on lvl 8 and gank this becomes weaker at late game but you may get a kill with this one using it on fleeing heros... it has low cooldown so you can cast it more than once in a late game fight and with orchild the DPS will be better.




ALLIES AND FOES

Support:



Ok, there are lots of supports i know but this ones are special why? because with this ones you cant fail ganks well for the obvious reason theyll be dualing with probably a ganker and this ones have slow, heal and venge has stun + reduces armor and dont forget abaddon that can make you go tower diving.

Slowers stuners and gankers:



Well we have stuners, slowers and stun slowers... haha.
obvious reasons why you wont fail ganks

INITIATORS:



Well Tide's ult, ES with kelen and ult, and warlock infernals but warlock needs special mention on team clashes cause he can initiate heal and he can 84% slow enemies if hes good using him he will let all the enemies so easy to kill that there are low posibilitys of losing that clash.


Maybe there are more allies to say but im so lazy right now...


Foes

Silencers



You wont complete your combo in secs if these ones are close and... they can screw up your blink for escaping purposes too. and dont forget that krob can nuke you and due to your low hp in early game youre an easy target and even more if she has a disabler with her.

Disablers



Akasha's worst nightmares... these guys wont let you escape or cast spells... theyll target you first most of the times and youre fragile so if this guys are targetin you then go for your BKB remember theyre fragile too and you have good nukes.

Nukers



Laguna Blade and Finger of Death are just some examples of the nukes they will pwn you in 0.5 secs with such a high damage pipe and BKB can help
