Introduction

The Story
Twin sons to the great Prophet, Terrorblade and Magina were blessed with divine powers: Terrorblade granted with an unnatural affinity with life forces; Magina gifted with energy manipulation. Magina's eventual overexposure to the magics gradually augmented his elemental resistances and bestowed him the unique ability to move faster than light itself. Now, broken by Terrorblade's fall to the dark side, Magina answers the Sentinel's call in a desperate bid to redeem his brother. Every bitter strike turns the Scourge's evil essences upon themselves, culminating in a finale that forces his enemy to awaken to the void within and spontaneously implode.

The Introduction
Magina wasn't nicknamed the Anti-Mage for no reason. His passive Mana Break attack allows him to deal extra damage and cripple a caster's mana supply. With a great understanding of the spiritual realm, he becomes more resilient against magical attacks using his Spell Shield, along with the ability to Blink across short distances for superb maneuverability. Seeking out weary casters, he uses Mana Void to inflict immense damage for high amounts of missing mana. Although he will be at a natural disadvantage to casters early on, as his powers grow, there is none better suited for bringing the greatest of spell casters down to their knees.

Overview
Magina is a strong carry with powerfull damaging skills, extreme mobility and a shield against magic. But he needs decent farm to prove himself usefull, very fragile early game, even though hes got a blink. He may seem like a right-click-and-own hero but hes got a thing or two that need some time to perfect.

Skills

<= About Mana Break
Mana break is what makes Anti-Mage an Anti-Mage. Every attack made by AM destroys some mana, and 0.6 of the destroyed mana is dealt as damage. Basicly a free Diffusal Blade. It's blocked by magic immunity and it can lifesteal more health with Vlad's. But it also you cant get another orb effect, exept Orb of Venom, but more about that later.

Well, you're in a pub, fuck spell shield since you're farm will probably be stolen by a Dazzle rushing Divine Rapier.
Take Mana Burn at level 1 since you're a fearless bastard, or your brainless..anyway this build is only for pubs. And remember: Spell Shield is for bitches and get ult whenever possible.

Item Builds

Starting Items

- for better last hitting and juking

- againts harrasing and a possible upgrade into a Pms/Vg

- in case you're not going for VG, this is a must!

- always usefull

and - figure out why

A FUCKING MUST

- why would you not get this?

But what about
In case you didn't know, if you get this and you skill Mana Break afterwards, you get the both effects. Not too sure about this for organised games, but its quite good for pubs cause of the good chasing power it adds.

Boots Choice

- the ones that are probably the best, since it gives moar hp and more as

- I guess they are ok, but you got enough chase/escape power as it is

If you're REALLY late game, get it for epic backdoring!

No

Middle Game Items

- if you dont have a PMS, this is a must. And the reg allows you to stay in lane => more farm

- you'll be going for a Manta or a S&Y, so yes

- this is actually quite an intresting choice. It gives you good stats, nice ms/as aura so its good.

- for Sange or a BKB

- a strong carry item, especialy when you finish your Buriza

Late Game Items

- with your insane AS you its good

- crit is gut?

- good damage and you can finally deal with that bitch Mort

- cleave and bonus dmg are ok

- bonus AS, bonus int, its quite okay and it is a MUST against that fucker Obsidian Destroyer

- can you ask for a better carry item?

- i guess you can?

- u can't disable me..problem?
(and a big fuck you to enigma and tide, their ults go through bkb..)

- MOAR HP

vs
Im giving my vote for the Manta. Why? 2 illusions = 2 more damage dealers and more mana is destroyed. But if you dont go for a Vanguard I'd suggest S&Y since it gives quite a bit of nice strength.

Rejected AKA Pub Stomp Items

- you hate orbs, orbs hate you..

- if this came across your mind you deserve to die!

- HoT is better and you don't need the mana

- just no..

- if your in an organised game, fuck no, let the supports get it, but if your in a pub you should consider since there a support that's rushing Rapier
