Before going to the guide I would like to say that this is my first guide so go easy on me. Also don't forget to give me feedback or correct my grammar and spelling as you see fit. Thanks!

Introduction
Priestess of the Moon (PotM) is one of those heroes in DotA who make you go "WTF" if played right. Mirana needs a lot of practise if you wan't to play her to her full potential. She has one of the best stuns in DotA but also the most unreliable. Mirana is mostly a Ganker or a Semi-carry. Some players want to play her as Hard-Carry which she is not.

Skill build explanation
You get leap first because it can save you from early ganks, but if you are going for the firstblood or early gank you can choose to take Arrow at lvl 1 and leap at lvl 2. Ulti is taken 1 lvl at 10 because that's all you need. Maxing leap over Moonlight shadow is better because only thing that changes in Mirana's ulti is the fade time and a cooldown goes lower but maxing leap gives you Manacost reduce, Cooldown reduce, more distance and more IAS and MS and not only you benefit from the IAS and MS but also your teammates.
Item Build

Try to get someone to buy a chicken, if not then don't buy a circlet and go for the chicken urself.
Slipper and circlet can be upgraded to a wraith band and GG branches can be upgraded to a wand after.
Core Items

Core Items explanation
I'm not even gonna explain why TP scroll is in the core items, PT is the best boots extension there is for PotM, but if the game goes long then you can change it to BoT for more pushing/ganking/defending, Wraith band because it gives you nice damage/health/mana for early game, Bottle because it gives good hp/mana regen and you can save runes for later use + usually gives u lane control if your mid, Magic wand gives u nice instant hp/mana regen + it can save your life, Difussal is nice item for PotM because of Agilty and Int stats + It gives you manaburn and purge which is very useful, although you can get Manta before Difussal if you feel like getting killed or want some more pushing power.
Survivability items

Feel like getting killed because of a single-target stun? Then this is the item for you. Gives nice stats + hp/mana regen and blocks 1 negative spell every 20 seconds (list of the spells it doesnt block can be found here: The complete Linken's Sphere - DotA Guides)

The opposite team is full of disablers? Then this is the item for you, gives you nice dmg+hp boost and Magic immunity for 10/9/8/7/6/5 seconds. Although some spells go through bkb, so beware!
Luxury

Butterfly is a great item on PotM, it gives you nice Damage, Agility and Attack speed + a 30 % evasion also! Only con is that it's quite expensive.

Buriza is also a good item on PotM, but i suggest you get it after you have average attack speed/damage. Gives you nice damage and crit.

MKB is a suitable item for PotM but it's usually situational. If someone from the opposite team is carrying a Butterfly or has a passive evasion, then this is the item for you!
Other orb effects

Mjollnir is situational orb effect. If there is illusion heroes, like Phantom Lancer or Naga Siren or someone is wearing a Manta, then you can think about this. Gives a nice dmg/attack speed boost + AoE attack for illusions and farming.

Skadi is nice orb for PotM because of it's stats and the orb effect which will make ganking/chasing a lot easier.

And last but not least Desolator. Gives you nice damage boost + orb effect that lowers your targets armor by 6 (Also effects buildings). This is a good item if your against high armored tank/carrys like Davion.
Best Allies

Atropos is one of the best allies for Mirana, because of his spell called "Nightmare". He keeps the enemies in their place so you can hit them with a 5 second arrow.

Everyone loves the aura, eh?
And pretty much all the disablers, who can give u time to place your arrow!
Worst enemies

This guy can make your life a living hell. You can't do anything but auto-attack.

This guy can tear you apart in the matter of seconds.
And pretty much all disablers/silencers who can make you useless for a very long time!
I will add more but now I have to get back to work!
