- Foreword -
--------------------

Trax is probably the best newb-friendly hero in the game , especially for those who prefer dark-cool-like heroes in the game.Although rarely seen on competitive plays , she's still a simple yet viable hero to play with. She is also my favourite hero in the game. Some players misuse her in the game , yet some know the right way to play her either in pubs or competitive plays.I decided to create this guide to guide newbies or a "no idea" player to go through Trax's real potential. She is not a hero to be underestimated with. This guide is probably different than others since there are many optional skill builds and item builds. And as an early warning , English is not my native language , so my grammar might be somehow wrong. Please do correct me if I do.Thanks for your cooperation !

- Are You For Her? -

- Do you prefer simple [ and a little boring ] heroes?
- Do you have great farming capabilities?
- Are you good on running away or juking?
- Are your last hit and denying abilities good?
- Are you good on harrasing hero[es] while farming?
- Do you feel satisfied when you own late games on 1v1 situations?

If you meet all the questions above , then congrats ! You are probably a great match for this hero ! However , my questions above might not really decide that you are . There might be other reasonable questions.

- Short Terms -

I decided to put up this section specially for newbies who are not used to the forums' short terms.I will only display short terms which are displayed in my guide. Here's the link for some short terms which you might not know.

- Hero Introduction -
------------------------------

- Background Story -

Traxex was a skilled archer in her oppresive underground homeland , The Underdark , until she grew sick of her kin's evil ways and fled to the surface world. As a part of her resolution , she wanders alone in the jungles , bringing her excellent marksmanship to the fray. Some of her abilities include stripping magical beings of their voices , and enchanting her arrows with an icy cold. While such powers are valuable , her true origin will never cease to linger around in the judging eyes of others.

- Trax is the 3rd best sight-ranged hero among all other heroes. She has 1700 night sight range while others have a petty 800 night sight range , which gives Trax some advantage at night.

- Trax's model is from the model of the Undead Sylvanas .

- Trax's Agility gain was decreased due to her Agility boost from the skill , Marksmanship .

Just some peeky infos , that's all.

- Role Selection -

There are a few roles recommended for Trax.In a DotA game , no matter what hero you use , you must have a role.Roles determines your game's effecientness which is quite a lot to be ignored.Let's take a short look at the roles available for Trax.

- Carrier -

Carry(s)' primary job is to deal damage late game, and to do that they have to farm well early-mid game too. Thus, a carry usually should have decent farming potential coupled with good skills that can boost them in late game.

[By GoLd3nRat1o]

Explanation : This role is the BOMB for Trax.It is the best role for her. This role is a bit too common for Trax. The role is best used for average-leveled players since a carry needs to have "decent farming potential".
Marksmanship and Trueshot Aura matches the description " coupled with good skills that can boost them in late game".Which is why she is the best for this one and only role.Feel free to try this role if you haven't !

- Supporter -

Supporters usually come in forms of aggressive supporters and defensive supporters. Aggressive ones help to stun/disable the enemies to help allies kill the enemies. Defensive ones stay at the back and help heal/ save the allies when they're dying somehow.

[By GoLd3nRat1o]

Explanation
:This role is quite good on Trax. She can really be an "aggressive supporter" since she has a disable which is Silence.Defensive is OK too , Silence can act as either aggresive [ disable ] or defensive [ cast the spell at the enemy when your ally is running away or juking ].Probably an optional role to Trax , note though , supporters are usually the ones who would buy wards to keep guard of runes or paths.

- Ganker -

Ganking is the term meaning that overpowering the opponent through numbers advantage. The most busy of the lot. They run around the map ganking early to mid game, to ensure that your team has an advantage over the others. They can't stand sitting in a lane farming for more than 2 minutes because ganking is simply their goal. Some of the gankers can be secondary carries too.

Explanation :This role is not quite viable on Trax. Her golden role is to be a carry , so she needs gold , she needs farming. However , if you are a kick ass pro , then you can try this since killing heroes earn you gold as well.If you're the active-type [ hyperactive better ] player , then you might be best on this role.Just make sure you are skilled enough when using Trax , practice using your skills and timings correctly , practice using other heroes who are good on ganking. Then try this role out for her.Gank is the most uncommon role for Trax. And difficult too.But is rewarding.
