Prelude:
Juggernaut remains one of the most popular heroes in DotA. Not only is he incredibly fun to play in public games, but he is close to being a worthy pick in competitive games. Juggernaut is not too complex of a hero: He has insane burst damage early game, with great scaling lategame thanks to Bladedance.
Juggernaut is an excellent pick when the enemy team has low HP heroes that cannot avoid his ultimate.
Juggernaut can be counter picked with heroes that negate his ultimate.
Thanks to his Bladefury, Juggernaut is one of the few carry heroes that can do very high early game DPS. He can dodge magical damage with his Bladefury, too.
Healing Ward allows Juggernaut to skip out on buying HP Regen items such as tangos.
Omnislash can deal massive damage especially when coupled with Medallion of Courage.
Omnislash is a skill that came from Final Fantasy VII. It was Cloud Strife's limit break move.
6.63 was the first DotA version to have Juggernaut in the loadscreen. Upon close inspection, IceFrog's portrait can be viewed on the flag Juggernaut is holding.

Other Builds
The common build for most Juggernaut players is Battlefury, because it gives Juggernaut good mana regen along with a critical cleave.
Juggernaut's best build involves Medallion of Courage. It gives his target minus armor and he can use Omnislash to avoid taking minus armor damage himself. Medallion of Courage gives him some of his needed mana regeneration.
Manta Style is overall the best DPS item on Juggernaut since his Illusions do critical damage. The Yasha that is required gives Juggernaut the stats he needs.
Juggernaut is capable of getting an orb effect. Lifesteal helps him survive where Diffusal lets him purge and manaburn. Grab Desolater right after Medallion of Courage, if they have many low HP heroes.
Friends
Any slow/stunner can help Juggernaut get an early first blood. Heroes who can help Juggernaut with his mana issues are his best friend. Any teammate who gets mana boots can babysit Juggernaut.
Juggernauts enemies are heroes that negate his Bladefury or Omnislash. Heroes that can blink or leap can avoid both.
Items such as Linkens Sphere or Ghost Scepter can counter Juggernaut.
Juggernaut is good against heroes that have low HP and do magical damage.
Strategy
As Juggernaut you want to remain ahead of every hero in the game in terms of gold and exp. If you are doing worse than your enemy carry, you are not doing your job correctly.
Early game you want kills. These kills help you gain early momentum. Try to find baby sitters to help you get these kills. Don't let people take your exp or gold.
If you are mid get a bottle and look for ganks after you have your Omnislash.
Mid game be sure to back up your team mates with your Healing Ward and/or Mana boots. In team fights it is important to Bladefury to avoid massive AoE Magical Damage. Use Omnislash only if you are certain it will result in a kill or two.
Notes
- With Healing Ward you do not need to buy HP regeneration items.
- Always make sure you have enough mana to battlefury and ultimate
- Use Medallion of Courage before you Ultimate
- If you solo mid, get a bottle.
- Make sure to use Phase or Haste after you have used Bladefury.
- Always have a TP to be able to Spin/TP from tight situations.
- Be aggressive in pushing if you know you can get away with Spin/TP.
- Do not kill creep waves with bladefury unless you know you will be safe for its cooldown.
- If you need mana get Mana boots but be sure to disassemble them and make Power Treads later in the game.
- Make sure creeps will not appear next to someone you are about to Omnislash by looking at the position of the creeps in your own creep wave.
- You can buy from the secret shop from the Roshan pit.
- It is possible to solo Roshan if you use a level 4 Healing Ward to heal youself after you are below 50% health. Only solo him if you know it is safe to do so. Medallion of Courage Roshan to kill him faster.
- Stay with your team if they need you.
- If you can't prevent a push by the enemy team, push one of their towers.
- Attack click one of your own creeps if an enemy tower is attacking you.
