INTRODUCTION
Legend said of an invisible monster who spreads fear across all battlefields. No one have live to tell the tale once facing this monster. Instantly weaving in and out of the battle, quickly and hastily, the Ghostly Spider brings doom to all who oppose its masters.
- I was making up my own story there. This is the real one:
Anub'seran. The name of this creature strikes fear into all of those who have seen the Nerubians. Even the famed assassin Anub'arak is hesitant to fight this beast, which comes from the plane of the spirit world. He can swiftly walk through his enemies, bending their bodies to his will, causing pain while he strides through them. With his powers over the timeless plane, he can also step inside and throw himself into the past to keep himself from death. He can call an attack from the future to strike his foes, making his onslaught more deadly. Anub'seran. Only the fools do not fear his name.

He's not that good-looking, I have to admit...

15 + 1.5/level. One of the lowest HP. This is dangerously low, which mean you can die in an instant.
14 + 2.5/level. Horrible for a DPSer like Weaver. We can still fix this easily.
15 + 1.8/level. Not good at all, but luckily, most your spells don't cost that much mana.

Pros and Cons

The goodies
+ One of the best wind walk in the game with low cooldown and max ms.
+ The Swarm is very good for harrasing and causing havoc to the battlefield
+ A built-in 2x critical every 6/5/4/2.5 seconds. Perfect for harassing.
+ Good ultimate which can be comparable to Leoric's Reincarnation.
+ Range. With a fairly good starting damage for a ranged hero.

The downfalls
- Long Attack animation.
- Can be easily counter using wards, Gem and Dust.
- Squishy (low armor and HP for a carry hero)
- Have probably the worst stats gain. (I just need to check again)
- Below average MS.

Skills descriptions

The Swarm

A swarm of 12 beetles will move towards the target point, each latching onto an enemy unit that it comes into contact with. Each unit will only get latched onto by one creature maximum.

  • The armor reduction is wonderful for ganking
  • The skill can be highly useful by adding several units to the chaotic battlefield.
  • Large range
  • Have a hugh range, which allow Weaver to initiate to some extents

- I strongly believe that replacing Urna Swarm with The Swarm really improve the chasing capability of Weaver. He can also initiate teamfights from a safe distance.
- This skill can be use for scouting, although the limited mana from the low stats gain makes this highly unsustainable.
- Useful for chasing. The enemy have to choose either to stay, kill the parasite (which means we can catch up with him and finish him off) or force him to run for his life (which can be really hard as we have Shukuchi in our arsenal).
- Can also be use to stop creep waves in middle of their path.

-> The uses of The Swarm are numerous. Use your creativity and improvise some strategy with this in hand.

Shukuchi

Causes the Nerubian Weaver to move so fast as to become invisible. Any units passed through will take damage. Lasts 4 seconds

  • Will always give you max MS during its duration.
  • Have a fade time of 0.25 seconds. This can be an opening for the enemies, so watch out for the stuns.
  • The cooldown is reduce with each level, get this skill if the 12s cooldown is not enough. Increase in damage is abysmal, doesn't even worth mentioning.

- Use this to harass the shit out of people. Try to hit as many heroes and creeps as possible.
- Escaping: It's quite obvious, just turn it on and juke. Do NOT run in a straight line. They can simply predict where you will be and throw a aoe spell (beware of Invoker and Kunkka)
- You will override any slow before this, so if you are hit by a Guinsoo, you won't be a dead bug but instead a fast invisible chicken who will get away.

Geminate Attack

Occasionally the Nerubian Weaver will send out two swarms, attacking an opponent twice. You must do an ordered attack to activate this.

  • It's basically a 2x crits which proc every 6/5/4/2.5s.
  • You do have to order the attack for it to work. Abuse that fact to avoid wasting the extra attack.
  • The cooldown only trigger when the attack is sent out. So if the enemy gets out of your range before the second swarm start, they won't be hit by this skill.
  • Use it to wear down tower. It speeds up the process faster than you think.
  • Sort of similar to Gondar's Jinada, it doesn't scale that good into late game. Try not to rely on it too much. Eventually you have to find another source of DPS yourself.
  • An early level of this can be useful for farming/harassing. It forces the enemy to back down, or withstand twice the damage.

Time Lapse

Warps the Weaver 5 seconds back in time, resetting the HP, Mana and position. Does not affect cooldown, gold or experience.

  • Horrible mana cost early levels.
  • It's use is similar to Reincarnation, but you can use this to outwit the enemies and escape ganks.
  • Short cooldown for an ultimate.
  • Another use of this that many people won't appreciate: It removes negative buffs. Can be put to great uses (removing dust, slow, Track, etc...)
  • Do require a sense of timing and people positions. Don't Time Lapse into the arm of the enemies waiting. Only to use this when you have no other options. Also try to have a sense of where you were before, and ask yourself that is that area full of haters who will stun you if you come out.
