Early game: power treads agility, empty bottle, wraith band
Mid:Butterfly, Desolater
Late: assualt cuirass, aghainims sceptor, and last: lifesteal
I know that everyone might be suprised by getting aghainims so late, but if you get the other items, you don't need a better nether swap til later.
Gameplay:
try to get last hits in the beginning, and harass with your wave of terror. Then once level 8 or 9, try to start getting big items. Once with those, you will be VERY good. And kill someone by using wave of terror, hit, hit, hit, stun wave of terror, hit, hit, and if they are running Nether swap, stun, hit, dead. That was horrible, but this is for people who are just getting started.
