1st things 1st...why did i choose to write a guide about traxex?
It was because i could not find a good guide for her on this site...
This is my 1st guide so ill be obliged to know what you think about it...



Hero Story
Traxex was a skilled archer in her oppressive underground homeland, the Underdark, until she grew sick of her kin's evil ways and fled to the surface world. As a part of her resolution, she joined the Sentinel, bringing her excellent marksmanship to the fray. Some of her abilities include stripping magical beings of their voices, and enchanting her arrows with an icy cold. While such powers are valuable, her true origin will never cease to linger around in the judging eyes of others.

I] INTRODUCTION
Ill start with when to play drow ranger. Drow ranger is a very effective hero with the proper farm...having said that there are some times when she is just not useful.
NEVER play drow ranger when ou already have 3 carrys is your team...with no hero to protect you early game there is a strong possibility that you might feed the opposition.
Make sure your team has atleast 1 tank and 1 stun hero before you pick drow for the most effective game.
The Drow Ranger is able to be quite a versatile fighter. She can provide constant support with her Frost Arrows to keep enemies pinned, Silence them so they can't retaliate with spells once they're forced to fight, and deal nice damage with her passive Trueshot Aura and Marksmanship abilities, which capitalize on and offer agility respectively. A good Archer will keep their distance, kiting an enemy in constant barrage, never letting them get dangerously close, and Traxex can achieve just that.



PROS:
- Traxex can prove to be a strong carry hero with a high damage potential
- She possess skills that increase damage and attack speed by a significant amount
- The Drow Ranger is an excellent chaser with a team presence due to an AoE silence and a 900 AoE aura
- She is a carry hero with a decent early-game
CONS:
- Drow has poor stat growth combined with extreme fragility
- She also has no innate escape mechanism, making her extremely susceptible to ganks
- Traxex requires quite a bit of farm to perform at her full potential
- Lacks the steroid farming skill to clear out creep waves like other carries may have in the beginning(altough this is one problem that is easily sorted in mid and late game.

Justification
An initial level of trueshot aura is very essential for last hitting creeps. It will help you get quick last hits and level up. At the second level you HAVE to take frost. As mentioned earlier it is fabulous for harassing enemy heros. Shoot 1 or 2 arrows to anyone who comes close to the creeps. Level 5 will have option as if there is a caster hero in your lane who is really bugging you with those spells it is a nice way to quiet him and get a few frost arrows in. After this just concentrate on maxing frost and trueshot with marksmanship whenever you get it.

Item Build-Up

Starting items



Tangoes- Absolutely essential. Drow is a very fragile hero and needs the tangoes from time to time to heal. If you finish them too early run back to base and get another stock.
Slipper of agi and Circlet- one slipper and the circlet will be used to make wraith band (duh.!)
Early items
You should have these items by level 9-10. It is essential that your farm be very good because your team will rely on you to as a carry.

First thing you do is complete your PT.next farm some more, go back to base and complete 2 wraith bands. BUY a lifesteal. Many guides state that she doesnt have to have a lifesteal..very wrong. her late game damage is enough to give her almost 55hp LS per attack. That increases survivability a LOT.
Always keep a TP with you coz opposite heros will target you once you start getting a good farm.
And lastly complete yasha before you complete HotD. Domi will giv bonus ls and dmg and armour but yasha is your priority.
Core Items




Butterfly is very inportant because with it your farm is complete and you can literally OWN. Lothars is very necessary for its wind walk. Traxex is not a Rambo like a Sven..so she needs some escape mechanism.

Situational Items

- A little critical strike never hurt anyone . Except that it does hurt your opponents. A LOT. By late game you will be able to churn out crit hit at 800+ dmg.Works brilliant as anti-carry.
- Satanic will give you health 25% lifesteal and an active power.So once you have this wait till ur health goes in red then activate satanic and see your health bar go full in seconds with that 125% lifesteal.
Note- the item shown ahead are just for prolonged games.By the time you get satanic the will already be decided in most games.
- Get this ONLY and ONLY if there are spellcasters in opposite team and your team are playing like fucking dumbshits. Otherwise its forbidden.
- Same goes for this item actually.Although it does make a good choice in the mid game if there are too many spellcasters in opposite team (Such a situation doesnt normally arise but just in case). In late game though it is absolutesy unnecessary for drow ranger.



Just for fun items
Think your team is playing too well and you can afford to buy sumthing just for the sake of it?? Try these...
Skadi will give you a slow and as it is not an orb it will continue your lifesteal. Result you never use your frost..!
Careful how you use this one. You die and you hand over 250 damage to your opponents..! Literally for free.
just for the extra hp. Your opponents will go crazy trying to kill you.



NOTE:- ALWAYS avoid fighting troll warlord 1 on 1 if you are not atleast 3 levels above him. with his new fervor skill drow's frost has almost no effect on him.
Also look to avoid pudge because his disember can really screw you up. Rikimaru is also dangerous but with some good timing and understanding of the game he can be countered with ease.

That is about enough if you want to play drow ranger with being fucked up by the opposite team.
Remember your role in the team is not to go and kill you are merely to capitalize on assists.Drow is a noob in the wrong hands and I do not recommend anyone who cant get a good farm fast enough to play her.
Having said that Drow is not a hero whose skills are to be regularly used throughout the game. You just need to master the timing, that will come with practise. Hope you find this guide good enough. Have fun playing..!!
