A More Descriptive Lore About Spectre
An ancient entity long forgotten and foretold in stories by legendary sages. They spoke of a relentless terror that was conceived from the very darkness of the universe that so few dare to ponder in, and a unfathomable horror that ghosted among evil beings with a unsatisfiable lust for destruction. A being so feared by mortals and gods alike, that the very mention of its name instilled pain and nightmares. The stories rend that the Spectre was the very embodiment of all the hatred in the universe, and that its strength was limitless, for it summoned the very power of eternal darkness to conquer its foes. The ancient sages told of great powers that tried to summon and control the Spectre, and befriend it to join the sides of their ways whos goals were to seek domination over the realmz of Azeroth. However, no power, and no force could persuade the evil entity in taking sides, and the Spectre continued to be a walking terror amongst all realms of existence. Even the Lich King knew that her power was too great to be contained and left her to side with her own ways. While Arthas had other interests in the Spectre, her judgement and might were too difficult to comprehend to side with a mortal being. The Spectres power ever grows between the two worlds, and her lust and vengeance never seem to diminish. There are few foes in existence that dare challenger her, and the past heroes and evils that have lost to her wraith, are forever haunted in a lifetime of a painful reality..
Why The Spectre?
Ah, the character that most people fail to use correctly in game, and then complain randomly about how bad she is...yes I said SHE. Why? Because they feed on accident not knowing what the potential value of Merc is to be. Thats fine, because that's on them and sadly it's their loss for the team. But, if your reading this, you must want to know the secrets of her inner strength and power are, correct? Well then lets dive right into it!
A Mini Intro Aside From Top:
For most of us, we all remember Merc's Godlike defensive buff correct? The time's when Lina would cast her ult on you and you would take 0 damage but return ALL of it back plus more? Those were the days..but not any more. Spectre has be redefined....and unfortunately, she is now focused on a late game hero destroyer. While yes, you might get a few kills early game, remember that her TRUE power is in the late game occurrences. That is when your strength to be absolute and you will be able to dominate your opponents.
What Kind Of Hero Is Merc?
Spectre has 1 semi-nuke, two passive buffs that aide her, and a sort of a cheating Ult that benifits her in many ways. Remember your mission is to SURVIVE in early game, which in turn gives you the power to be able to dominate in late game. If you keep dying and not killing people, your not going to get that precious gold to buy your items. And your going to Need them...literally.
Pros And Cons Of This She-male Like Character?
Pros:
1. A Nuke that enables godlike chasing and evasive maneuvering in times of need.
2. An absolute hero destroyer when late game comes around...if you have managed to survive early through mid game and played well.
3. Can kinda-sorta-maybe-debateably-orb-attack walk for semi faster attacks.
4. Ulti can see every ENEMY foe on the map for set amount of times.
Cons:
1. VERY weak in early game.
2. Cannot stun anybody.
3. Nuke doesn't do as much damage as most nukes (which is ok when used right)
4. Can die fast....very fast early game. You MUST survive early game.
The Skill List?
Spectral Dagger:

Her most favorite and useful skill IMO. Spectral dagger can be used as a chasing weapon, a scouting purpose, a semi-damaging attack, and also serve as an escape path. Lets explain these in a little more detail.
- Chasing
If your opponent is low on health, you can throw the dagger two ways. One is so randomly throw It in the direction your enemy is running. However, this requires timing and predictability to actively hit your opponent. The second reason is to actively throw the dagger directly on to your opponent. When the dagger hits, your enemy is slowed (Up to 18% at level 4) and your movement speed is increased up to 18%. Aside from this your enemies will take 200 damage at level 4 and suffer from the shadow path. - Scouting
One way to use the Spectral Dagger is to scout random areas. Simply throw the dagger towards any location you chose, and your will be granted vision towards that area for a set amount of time. This can be useful if your have the mana to check runes, possible enemy locations, or to check your surrounding areas for anything, - Nuke
At level one the Spectral Dagger does 50 damage. Every level increased the damage done by 50...which means up to 200 max. This doesn't seem much, but it can serve you will if your enemy is low on health and running away. It can also gives you the needed speed bonus to catch your enemy and finish him off...especially if he is alone because of the desolate buff. - Escaping
One of the best features of the Spectral Dagger is the ability to cross any terrain on the map. Simply fire the dagger in any direct and click on the shadow path to follow your route. You MUST click through the shadow path or your character will take an alternate route to the destination. If your enemy is chasing you, cast the dagger toward an impassable terrain area and make your get away so that he cannot follow. Unless its Batrider....
Desolate:

One of her top buffs to aid you in killing your opponent. When the enemy hero is alone, you will do added damage to him/her/it. Up to 45 pure damage is added to your attacks. Your enemies must not be within 400 range of each other if their grouped up to work. Also, If you have illusions, they will gain the desolate ability. Great with Manata Syle.
Dispersion:

Her defensive buff. This buff actually reduces damage taken from all attacks. At level 4, you have 20% damage reduction and returned. It may not seem that much, but when your enemies are stacked, the damage dealt back is much greater. Combined with the desolate ability, Spectre can nearly solo any hero by herself...provided that your equipped with the correct items.
Haunt:

A great skill to find any enemy hero. When casted, a single illusion appears next to every enemy hero on the map, enabling you to find them. Not only that you can teleport to the using Reality.
- Find Enemies
When you cast Haunt, 1 illusion appears next to every enemy hero. Because of this, you can see where ever they enemies are. You can tell if enemies are figuring out a way to gank you or come for your hide. Your allies will also be able to see the enemies...just as if they were using Spectre. - Teleport To Kill
When You cast Haunt, you have the option of using Reality:
Reality actually takes the place of ANY illusion you have next to an enemy hero so you can immediately tele to them. Its great if your opponents are low on health and running away. If your allies cannot catch them, cast haunt, target your illusion with reality, and your instantly next them. Wail on them all you want until you have the kill.

^^ This Build puts defense in priority and survivability top notch. Spec dagger is used for the ability to cross terrain from your opponents and decrease their movement speed and such. Dispersion is gotten early to provide resistance early game and desolate is used later to start farming up people. Haunt is chosen at the respective levels to aid your teammates.
I Have found this build to dominate all when I play. But of course, you have questions. They shall be answered.
These Questions pertain to the OFFENSIVE ROLE. Defensive role is summed up by logic.
Question 1:
Why are you putting points into Desolate before dispersion. If your going to survive early game, wont you need the defense?
Answer 1:
No. If you honestly think that the return damage in early game is going to benefit you, then your sadly mistaken. It won't do anything back to the opponents. Even though it reflects the % of damage from early game heroes...or actually any hero (besides doom)it can't do immeasurable amounts of damage back in the beginning. It will not be needed until mid game. Not only that, since her update in 6.65, the reflected damage is dispersed through heroes, therefore completely reducing the overall damage done back. Plus, Desolate gives you bonus damage against heroes to aid you in the beginning if your items aren't too good.
Questions 2:
Why after Desolate and Spec Dagger, do you put points into Dispersion instead of stats? Doesn't Spec need the added life and benefits to help her survive?
Answer 2:
Even though Dispersion fails at returning damage, it actually reduces the OVERALL damage taken. Essentially, at level 4, it reduces ALL damage by 20%, giving you much needed survival assistance.
Question 3:
Is Haunt really effective?
Answer 3:
Not only does haunt provide viewing of every enemy hero's whereabouts on screen for a set duration, they do increasing more damage as you do. Essentially, in team fights, the illusions can give you a head start on DPSing before you enter the fight. Essentially, you can get an added 7 seconds of damage on ALL of your opponents. A very nice addition.
Ok, The Spec's Items (The Most Commonly used Build)
Speed:
There is a lot of debate on wheather or not the Spec should have BoT
Well then, lets go to it.
Phase Boots:
Phase boots give you added damage, but their primary bonus is the ability to phase through enemy heros and units. There is little point because your Spec Dagger gives you the ultimate phasing advantage over any terrain or anything at all better yet. Unless your purposely enjoying phasing through creeps and such..then go ahead.
Boots of Travel:
No. 2700 gold to buy (everything) and the teleport ability. You can already teleport to enemies and either way, your faster with spec dagger regardless of your choice. True you have overall faster MS (as for the +90 you get) AND even more when you follow the Spec Dagger Trail, but It just Isn't worth sacrificing more damage and defense for speed. If you get in trouble with Treads and phase, throw a random Spec Dagger Over Some impassable terrain and begone!! Not to mention you will not have bonus attack speed and armor with the other boots. NEVER buy these.
Power Treads:
My favorite by far. Increased agility, movement speed AND attack speed. With the IAS, you can kill enemies/creeps/denies faster. You have decent move speed, and you can always use Spec dagger to move faster somewhere. Perfect. Not to mention that if you dying, you can click power treads to change its mode to suit your needs. OVERALL, the BEST choice of boots.
The Beginning to Build Items:
Early Game:
Slippers:
Also If you want to suruve a little easier because you take too much damage from failing to evade hits, you can buy GoS:
Early To Mid Game:
Wraith B:
The purpose of this is Building Diffusal Blade
Why? Because with it, you burn the enemies mana in which you do added damage equal to the amount of mana burned to them. Not only that, you can cast purge which slows them by 90% for 4 seconds. Teleport in, dagger, purge, and DESTROY. Why? When you tele in, your enemies will try to fight you. By throwing the Spec Dagger at them, you gain the extra movement speed for about 12 seconds. Your enemy will realize they cannot defeat you and attempt to run away. When you cast purge, they are immensly slowed further (much for the 4 seconds). Not to mention level 2 Diffusal blade does even more damage and gives greater attribute bonuses. This is by far one of the most common builds for her, but I personally don't follow it.
Remember to get
Mid-Late Game (And Overall Item Ref):
Battlefury
Hey the added damage plus life regen helps. You can use this to dish out more punishment the ever and even have a cleaving attack to help farm better. True you lack IAS but It makes farming a little bit easier.
Buriza
Ah yes, the Cirtical strikes. We all love them and on Spec, and they do their job well. Enjoy high damage and crit bonuses with the already destructive power within you.
Butterfly
Usually in a hero battle the enemy is going to get this weapon. So in that cause, i would suggest MKB
MoM
Well, If you want to go crazy and beat the crap out of your opponent, I have nothing wrong with this item. If you can spare the extra gold, go ahead and purchase it. Not a late game item to hold onto though, as your attack speed will already be through the roof.
Manta Style
This item is fantastic. Create clones of yourself that ALSO have the Desolate Ability. Absolutely amazing for damage. The stats boost aslo aide you.
Assult Cur.
Well if your doing alright and making that money go ahead for this item. Gives you armor reduction de-buff against opponents, IAS, and increased armor for yourself to survive the most devastating attacks. An incorporation for the God-Build.
HoT
As with all luxury items, HoT is well among the top. Giving nearly 1000 life and 1% of max hp regen, this survivability item gives you the strength to survive and recover from the toughest of battles. However, with the new updates, i would now NOT suggest this item. Not worth the time.
Radiance
Another luxury item that gives passive damage to enemies (40 dps). I personally do not use this item much because I focus my money on other items. However, the damage helps when chasing opponents and farming with creeps or neutral farming. A nice added bonus and worth it however if you have the money to spare. Interesting if you want a random build.
Quelling Blade
An amazing item to increase your damage early game towards farming and creep kills. Adding 32% bonus attack damage, you will be able to kill creeps faster as well as "final hit" creeps more effectively. Also, It can provide a manageable escape path since it cuts down trees. Great for adding jukes and so forth. (Even though you have Spec Dagger, this weapons ability can serve you (possibly if Spec Dagger is on CD). A recommended item if you wish to make some more quick money using its benifical properties.
Vangaurd
The Item Of ALL. This is literally Spectres Ultimate item of choice in ANY situation. This is the item that makes people run away because they simply cannot do anything to you. Life, Regen, and the chance to block already dispersed damage. The Item of choice no matter what. Get this. Period.
Radiance Priority Build.
A chaser Spectre combines the properites of increased move speed as well as AOE damage (Similar to pooptrellen). While focusing on decent damage and survivability as well as AOE punishment, Spectre can chase down most enemies for the killing blow because of Spec dagger. Not only that, Dispersion somewhat aids in reflecting the damage upon your opponents to additively stack with Radiance properties. Diffusal blade also adds in the slowing of your enemies to give you more time to dish our punishment while radiance works in effect. A great build for chasing.
Of course there are many variations to this build such as replace Diffusal with
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Your Leveling Lane
- Levels 1-11 (Early Game)
As with any hero, you must pick a lane to fight and level up. Certain lanes have advantages/disadvantages over others lanes. I suggest either going top or bottom for Specs options. Early game your focus is to survive as much as possible and to maybe...get some kills. With Gauntlets or Slipper and tengos, your survivability options are increased, as well as your damage partially. Not only that, quelling-blade will help you with your money problems If you bought Gauntlets, you should do just fine as long as you avoid your enemies powerful abilities (if any). Since your still stuck with core items, continue to gain money and exp until your ready to buff your character into something a little more fearful. Around the end of levels 9-10 you should be able to buy bracers to help you more. If you chose slippers, go ahead with wraith bands to help yourself out in the damage area. Remember that wraith bands also give you health so they will aid you in your efforts. - Levels 12-18 (Mid Game)
So you have some extra money and you got your bracers or wraith brands. If your satisfied, its time to build the prerequisites for diffusal blade. If you managed to obtain power treads at this time, then your in good hands as far as IAS and MS go. Diffusal blade will aid you in your ganking situations..especially combined with Haunt/Reality. Once done, save up for health items such as HoT, or if you want, MKB for the amazing damage boosts. - Levels 19-25 (Late Game)
The moments when you shine. At this point in te game your hero should be decked out. With all of her buffs maxed and item choices, you are primed as the top killer on your team. If you have been making some extra money, maybe nows its time for radiance or another destroying item. Because of your dispersion and dagger abilities, there are now few heroes who can take you on 1 v 1. Your ganking abilities with haunt are almost guaranteed to kill your opponents and because you have escaping abilities with dagger, no one will be able to catch you.
The All Terrain Woman.
What do I mean. Spectre Can go Anywhere to her hearts desire if she wants to...period. Her dagger path allows you to travel anywhere and everywhere at your hearts content. Example:
I just bought these for energy, its not a real game just showing you her evasive abilities.
The begining of crossing terrain. This is usually a hard one but it becomes easier with practice.
Throw your dagger and attemp to FOLLOW the shadow path. Do NOT click above the ledge.
You MUST click within the shadow path. Because of this ledge, try to spam click in the middile of it so it looks like your character is sideways.
When your character on the side of the wall, THEN you may click anywhere you want and your character will go to that location. It is important to know that you MUST click THROUGH THE SHADOWPATH first. If you click around, your character will go through an alternate lame...long...route. No point. BUT, when your character is on the impassable area terrain (meaing your char is on a path you normally cannot walk on, you THEN can click anywhere, and SPEC will follow the path.

It is an amazing ability because you can escape any enemy as long as you can survive some punishment. Think of it like batrider. Lets say your fighting him and winning and then he decides so be like "well shyt ima bouncin otta here" and fireflies through all this impassible terrain. Then you can be like "oh knows you dont" and throw your dagger at him and matrix follow him till he dies. Just dont get burned 2 death >_<

The God Characters
A God character in Dota is basically a character that in LG, will have the ability to dominate almost any character they face. Essentially, a god v god, is a very interesting match because its an epic battle. Its the set of skills with the character and the items that complement them which results in that character to be nearly unstoppable. From the TOP 4 on, heres The list:
TOP 4 In DOTA
-----------------------------------------------------------------
She is a character that when maxed out with the particular set of items, is near undefeatable in a 1 v 1 match and in most causes...multiple adversaries. The ability to cross any terrain for escaping is vital and well needed. To chase an enemy with lower MS so you can easily catch up, lovely. With pure extra damage alone, unsurpassed defense in all aspects, and the potential bonus damage with a surprise on the enemy, a LG Spectre is feared by all. You might think BS. Most Spectre's absolutely fail at building the right build to make her such a powerful character. In late game..and i do mean LATE game if the battle has lasted that long, a Spectre will rip through characters with the greatest of ease. ONLY a very FEW can counter her when she is maxed out, which makes her literally untouchable.
As we all know, Slardar is just too bad-ass and OP. With his amazing speed to catch his enemies, a fast multi-purpose and quick cd stun, his enemies cannot run away. Buffed even more with a passive stun ability and our favorite ULT that reduces armor drastically, Slardar LG is simply devastating. In late game with a maxed Slardar, there is almost no person that can touch him or kill him. His strength is high, damage is high, speed is high, and his overall presence in a game makes people sigh with fear.
With the ability to perma-bash you alone, trolls 1 v 1 streak is near undefeated against enemy opponent. Buffed more with a massive IAS boosts and the ability to blind opponents, troll is simply a god character at fact. Leading the 1 v 1 match against any character, a maxed troll in lg can solo anyone. His abilities complement him well, and stacked with life steal items, troll can almost easily take out an entire team simply by just brute force. His power is second to none when maxed, and a buff troll is always something to avoid fighting.
Faceless void in late game is a god at fact. With an AMAZING set of skills that complement his every move, a void can turn the tide of a game will 1 button. The ability to perma-bash you into oblivion and the ability to evade or "backtrack" ANY move in the game serves him so well its almost to powerful. Combined with the ability to easily escape foes and even slow them, a void warping in on you basically means 1 thing.. death. A late game buff void is on par with the second most powerful melee skills along side with troll and slardar, and if he gets the jump on them, you might as well peel over.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Sk is a 1 button, buffed out character in LG that people simply fear. With the ability to stun and wail for a suprise, SK ability to kill his enemies is amazing. Buffed even more with one of the largest lifesteal potential and even critical strikes, his ability to dominate his opponents are undeniable. Not only that, you get 2 lives to woop ass ^_^.
Her critical strikes alone make her opponents fear her. Her ability to teleport to opponents and allies makes sure you can run away. He ability to slow he opponents keeps you obey. And the ability to evade attacks make you angry. A character with the largest burst damage potential available, mortred is second to few.
Keeping you bashed along all sides of course screen, having a teleport ability to bash you harder, and the fact that Barathum can have massive damaging capabilities make him one to fear in LG. Able to cross ranges in seconds, Bara can always find you, and makes certain to pummel you into nothingness.
The the mere fact of keeping you at bay with his range, and stuns, sniper is simply amazing. The fact that he can slow and nuke from great distances with short cd's, astonishing. A maxed sniper with correct items (esp Manta) will keep you confused and bewildered until you die.
Will amazingly high attack speed, and range, Clink is a massive force to be reckoned with. Aided with the ability to easily vanish and run away AND steal life if needed, Clink can disperse with many heroes in a quick period of time.
An aoe stun that keeps enemies from running away. An armor and speed boost that allows you to chase and tank. A cleaving attack that acts as a BF and an ult that none can deny. Capable of massive damage bursts, Sven is one of the most awesome and scary characters you will play and fight against.
Enemies That Post A Threat
One of the few god characters, slardar is always a threat to someone. With his powerful yet short cd on stun, speed increased abilities, and legendary ult, he is always one to fear on the battlefield. On a 1v1, unless your fully decked out, your chances against a buff slardar are slim. He can keep you stun locked and keep his damage peak high since your armor will be reduced. Even though your defense is seemingly godlike..the ability to keep you perma stunned while doing decent damage will prevent you from killing him fast enough. Be careful when fighting him.
While you posses amazingly high defense, trolls ability to perma stun you will dominate. On a 1 v 1, i would suggest you run unless your items are up to par and his are not. If the troll is buff, your chances of winning are slim at best. Troll is literally...the ULTIMATE 1 v 1 for melee. One of the god characters.
A fully buffed sniper with manta stlye will keep you at bay form attacking him. Unless your next to him by chance with haunt or sneaking up, you should not approach. His range and stun capibilites are a force to be dealt with and even getting near him will just be annoying as ever. Another god character.
If clinkz is buffed out, he will keep you at bay with his impossibly fast attack speed and damage. Not only that, if you managed to get to him, he will simply WW. A character fear unless he sucks. ONLY worry about him in LG. Another god character.
Characters You Will Dominate
Believe it or not, on a 1 v 1 match, you will dominate mortred. You may think that you will be absolutely destroyed because of her crit potential, but for some reason that is not the case. If you follow the god build, your fine, and will end up having to chance her because she can't do shit to you. Funny as it seems, it is truth. Your night elf sister will be obliterated.
If you face pitlord, he is as good as dead. He can cast everything in his power to stop you, but it will fail. He is simply...no match for Spectre.
While SK has lifesteal, Crit, and stun, he is no match for your defense and damage potential. You might think..wtf? He has crits and OP lifesteal, so Spectre will lose. But for some reason, it simply doesn't work out for SK. In a 1 v 1, you will win. When he dies, make sure you kill him again.
Lycan is a very formidable opponent, but against a fully decked out Spectre, he is no match for her power. Your abilities will dominate him till hes finished.
Even VS cannot stand against a decked out Spec. She does not have the power capable enough to destroy her. 1 v 1, you will win.
Lucy. You will win, and theres notihng he can do. Doom? np. Lvl death? blah. Enjoy soloing him. Heck, he might kill himself if hes with range >_>....
AM has nothing against you at all. On a 1 v 1 match, he will be completely obliterated. IF he has bashers? Oh well. Mana burn? You don't require your mana. Ult? lol.
While DragonKnight has very high defense, he lacks the overall power to destroy you. Your desolate abilities will aid you in destroying him and your defense will protect you from his abilities.
Remember you are a hero killer late game. Your powers will be amazing if you can survive. I will continue to update this everyday to make it the most In-Depth MERC Guide. Questions and Comments will be appreciated.
The God Build
While I have never seen this build used by anyone but myself, I have found this build to Omni-Dominate all. The build consists of the base stat build that I described, but with an entire item build overall. The build provides beyond Godly Defense, Critically High Damage, Great Evasive properties, and simply overall, GODLIKE Destroyer. AKA, the Shadow Sin Build.

Summary:
For the begining, the two vanguards stacked with a lvl 4 Dispersion reduces damage done to you by a magnificent amount. Literally impervious for early-mid game against any enemy hero 1 v 1. While yes some heroes like Troll and Slardar can keep you bashed (usually troll), you will still be able to make get-aways and deal significant damage back, thanks to your desolate. After treads and MKB are finished, your damage is painfully high and your ability to dominate is ever more evident. Since its nearing late game, your going to finish up AC and Buriza to finalize your ultimate destructive power. Godly Defense, Godly Damage, Godly All. Enjoy and try this build if you wish. If you fully accomplish all 6 items, your literally untouchable. If you wish by LG to remove one vanguard and replace it either by MoM or a Desolator to enhance your abilities, then by all means...go ahead -by Captain Falcon.
A Lore From Halls of Reflection. Mercurial and Arthas (The Lich King).
A
s the cold air washes over Arthas's armor from the presence generating from frostmourne and the speakings of ancient heroes, he feels still. It's quite inside but the air is dense and thick. The doors are rattling from the pounding of heroes on the outer walls who seek judgement and revenge for the atrocious crimes that have been committed. Arthas grips frostmourne tighter, his gloves straining to contend with the power of the legendary sword. He feels....different..and aware that a presence is known within the freezing walls. In a flash of speed, Arthas spins and points frostmourne to a being he has not known for some time.. and confronts it.
Arthas: Who. Speak your name.
Mercurial: Arthas, your actions have brought great shame to your people and your honor. As Uthar has spoken, your reign will not last.
Arthas slowly lowers his weapon, not understanding what is happening. He looks around, knowing that his power is great and frostmourne stands ready to strike if needed. He looks back at the being, pondering what it knows about him and his past cloudy past.
Arthas: Speak whoever you be. Know that I reign power over all kingdoms and that I shall continue to bring this world to its knees under my command. My past is driven from me and plays no part in this dark future. Whatever you say, it means nothing.
Mercurial: I have watched you since the beginning of your time. You were once proud and righteous, but you fell to the upbringings of dark power and laid waste to your own kind. You lost your honor and your commrads, and followed a path that is leading to your own destruction.
Arthas: ENOUGH! Begone from here or I will strike you down where you stand as I have struck all who have opposed me.
Arthas stands with frostmourne ready to strike, ever waiting to see the Spectre's reply. However, the Spectre remains still and immobile, focused at Arthas dark eyes.
Arthas: Then so be it!
With a massive arc, Arthas spins frostmourne around and hits Spectre in what would appear in the neck. The force of the impact is so great the doors quite from the pounding of hereos and rubble crumbles around the fortress from the wave of seismic air generated by the swing. The Spectre does not move.
Arthas: What.. what power is this? What are you..
Mercurial: You fool. You do not remember? I am Mercurial, the embodiment of all hatred and pain in the universe, and I have come here to warn you of your time.
Arthas: ..
With an act of power unknown to Arthas, frostmourne instantly reflects off of Spectre and flies into the wall behind Arthas, shattering stone and wall alike. Arthas takes a step back, bewildered and amazed at a power long forgotten.
Arthas: What are you going to do....
Mercurial: ...
Arthas: Have you come here to stop me? SPEAK!
Mercurial: ..
Arthas: SPEAK BEING OF DARKNESS! I COMMAND YOU!
Arthas yells so loud that part of the roof of ICC crumbles and large boulders the size of catapults fall around them. Several boulders fall on Spectre, but seemingly disperse into nothingness on an unknown barrier. Mercurial, does not move.
Mercurial: No. It is not my path to destroy you, nor is it my desire. You know what you are up against in this fight, and you know that in time, you will be stopped. The heroes of Azeroth will not cease until your reign of filth and destruction are over. When that time comes, I will be the one who takes you into a realm of torment and make you aware and responsible of the wrong doings that you have committed and so easily disregarded from your mind. Until then, you will be watched.
Arthas: ...and what realm will this be?
Mercurial: You will know in time. For now, farewell.
The Spectre turns around and walks through a wall and simply vanishes in dark energy. Arthas stands...pondering what has been said and what being could dare threaten him with all the power at his command. Whatever it be, Arthas walks towards the wall in which frostmourne was embedded into, and pulls it out, the blade ever shimmering in his grasp once more. Even though Mercurial is gone, the presence still remains...and Arthas at one moment feels as if he is being haunted from the shadows He looks toward the pounding doors of ICC and smiles.
Arthas: Fool.....LET THEM COME!
----end.
