Tiny, The Stone Giant
This guide is not a normal hero guide that will state all the skills and what each do at every level because I believe there are way too many of these guides and making another one would just be a waste, instead I will focus this guide on the strategy, gameplay and item build behind this awsome hero.
This trategy is aimed at a person that already knows tiny and the basics but wants to know how to really exploit hes potential.
Ok now to the guide.
Tiny is a very fun hero to play, it provides a lot of burst damage and by lvl 8 your combo will do a whopping 960 damage before reduction, yes u did read correctly 960 damage at lvl 8!!
Thanks to this massive burst of damage you will be able to take enemy heroes and even creepwaves instantly, this is why Tiny is one of the most powerfull gankers and a very good pusher.
Skills:
Avalanche (V)
Level 4 - 300 damage.
Mana Cost: 120
Cooldown: 17 seconds
This skill is an aoe stun that does pretty good damage, the aoe of it is slightly bigger than the aoe showed in the casting icon.
Toss (T)
Level 4 - 300 damage, 1300 range.
Mana Cost: 120
Cooldown: 10 seconds
This is Tiny's signature skill, it takes the closes unit in a 300 aoe around Tiny and tosses it to a target location dealing damage to the tossed unit and in an aoe where the toss lands. If you cast avalanche and then toss an unit on itself the unit will take double damage from the avalanche (will be explained later).
Craggy Exterior (C)
Level 4 - 5 armor, 24% chance for 55 stun damage
Very needed armor since Tiny has an initial armor of 0 and an agy gain of a measly 0.9. This skill is very good against physical heroes stunning them 1/4 times they attack you.
Grow (W)
Level 1 - 50 bonus damage, 20% reduced attack speed. Increases the damage taken by the tossed unit to 35%
Level 2 - 100 bonus damage, 35% reduced attack speed. Increases the damage taken by the tossed unit to 50%
Level 3 - 150 bonus damage, 50% reduced attack speed. Increases the damage taken by the tossed unit to 65%
Grow makes your unit bigger and adds physical damage and also damage to your toss at the cost of attack speed.

The reason behind this build is very simple, you need to nuke hard very fast and since in your combo the enemy takes double damage from avalance we will be leveling avalanche before toss.
Item Build:
At the beggining of a normal 5v5 match you want to get
2x
1x
1x
1x
1x
After that we get
When you have the boots though you have a choice to make, you can either buy
This comes down to personal choise but i usually get
If you decided to go for the bottle you will need something to boost your base mana
Once your regen is completed you must go for your core item
Because of your extremely low armor you will need some extra armor to survive the middle-late game so you will need either
Note: if you are playing against a very nuke heavy team getting a
Now that you have plenty of armor/resistance you should go for some health
After these items the game should pretty much be over, help out your team buying wards/dust/gem/etc. If you decide not to, and just get more items you can get any dps item since your basic damage is so high thanks to your ult.
Strategy: The basics
Ganking: To gank a hero try to aproach him from the woods or another fogged location to make sure he is the only unit in a 300 aoe from you ensuring the combo works, also with a stun from a team mate you can position yourself next to the hero also ensuring the success of your combo.
Early game: Use your avalance to help you last hit creeps if you need to but remember to also hit the enemy heroes with it. By level 4 you will have enough mana for an avalance-toss combo which will deal an insane 510 damage, with the help of your lane mate landing a kill or two in your lane shouldt be too hard. Stay in lane untill you are level 6-8 by when you should have finished your boots and your regen item, if you went for bottle you can start ganking even before that. Gank a lot, use teleports and do NOT stay in a lane to creep.
Mid game: This stage of the game for you starts once you get your dagger. With the dagger it should be even easier for you to gank other heroes, keep doing this and help your team mates push/defend etc with your very powerfull AoE spells.
Late game: Usually at this stage of the game your role shifts from ganker to tank/initiator. You basicly blink in, and cast your skills giving your team time to position themselves properly and finish the oposition.
Advanced tactics: Now the fun part
Most of these tactics are pretty difficult to exectute and will take quite a bit of practice in order to be successful but dont let this discourage you and keep practicing because once you master them you will be able to do almost anything with Tiny.
You r dead combo:
This is Tiny's bread and butter
1 You approach a hero.
2 Make sure he is the closest unit in a 300 aoe.
3 Cast avalanche.
4 Cast toss with that hero as a target.
5 ??????????
6 Profit.
The Free Dagger: With your toss you can throw other teammates into the battle as if they had a dagger, this can be used while chasing, to initiate or to even save them if they are getting killed. Just make sure the unit you are trying to toss is the closest unit in a 300 aoe around you or you might miss.
Lol you inmune?: Tiny's toss can throw heroes with bkb turned on, interrupting any skill they are casting, ie SF ulty. Also Tiny can throw Jurnero when he is spinning and also ultying making Tiny a very good counter to him.
Pff i got swap!: This basicly turns you into a vengeful spirit, what you do is blink into the oposition and toss an enemy towards your team mates so they can kill him. This is very hard to land and requires a lot of practice before you start landing them correctly, be carefull when doing this because tossing the wrong hero, ie the tank into your team might just ruin the attack.
Toss n' slap: One thing many people forget to do when doing their avalanche toss combo is that you can actually get an attack in between the avalanche and the toss and one right after the toss giving you two extra attacks in the combo just in case they dont die from the nukes.
I got 2 stuns: When your avalanche is on cooldown you can use your toss to "stun" a hero by tossing them to themselves, this is done by targeting the unit you want to toss when tossing, this unit MUST be the closest unit in a 300 aoe for this to be successfull.
GTFO!: Imagine you are happily walking and suddently you get hooked by a pudge! Damn! you think, but worry not, if you are fast enough you can toss this pudge to another unit up to 1300 range away saving your butt. For this to work you need to toss as soon as the hook lands and before he uses hes dismember. This principle can be used against many heroes in many different situations.
The lumberjack: Toss will destroy trees in an aoe where it lands, abuse this to your advantage. The tossed unit will hit its target no matter what so, suppose you are in the bottom lane and are going for a kill but the enemy hero tries to juke you in the goblin shop, if you toss a unit to him before he goes into fog the trees around him will be destroyed allowing you to easily spot him and PWN him.
Creepnage: it order to take out a whole creepwave easily, toss the ranged creep into the melee creeps and then cast avalance on the melee creeps, the ranged creep will die from the toss and the melee will die from the combo giving out all the money.
