*This skill often scared the shit out of the enemy , especially those whom you pawned alot . ( Works like slardars ulti on them )

-Very reliable in team
-item independent / item dependent
-Easy to last hit
-Can ignore mild harrament
-Anti carry
-Very easily to kill
-Very good chaser
-Good kser
-Contribute so damn much to the team
-Plays many role
Cons
- Melee
- Ulti can be messed up sometime
- Fire panda the main attacker can easily be killed(can be solved)
- Mana problem(can be solved)
- The skill is good , but they work individually , which mean they dont sync well
- Easily out carried in late game
- His power greatly affected by teamwork of both team
- Power degrade as game proceed after level 16
Roles:
-Carry
-Semi carry
Function:
Tank - High healthy point , Evasion , haze and Split , make him an ultimate tank
Part time ganker - Ganking is part of his role , but remember his final goal is still the team carry , that is why I always mention to kill steal during gank so thhat your time aren't wasted for merely extra level . Do it like 70% Farming 30% Ganking
Semi initiate - Initiate , but why semi initiate ? Yes by using clap you can initiate , however it is still not a proper skill to initiate with since it doesn't disable or stun . Therefore , semi- initiate means only initiate when the team main initiator isn't there.
Anti carry - Yes , With your haze and clap , they reduce AIS(55%) and Blind(75%)
Pusher - Only during desperate needs , use your ulti to take down tower .
Skill Build
Level 1 - Drunken brawler
Level 2 - Clap
Level 3 - Clap
Level 4 - Drunken brawler
Level 5 - Clap
Level 6 - Split
Level 7 - Drunken Brawler
Level 8 - Clap
Level 9 - Drunken Brawler
Level 10 - Haze
Level 11 - Split
Level 12 - Haze
Level 13 - Haze
Level 14 - Haze
Level 15 - Stat
Level 16 - Split
Level 17 -> 25 - Stat all the way
Justification:
Clap - since its your nuke , and your options left for ksing
maxing it out first is definitely necessary. But why the very first skill point is not use to level this skill? Its because , there are less likely to have kills in level 1 and by raising drunken brawler make you less likely to miss and last hit , therefore creating a good start for your self .
Haze - Anti carry and chasing skill . 75% miss for 8 second on a non MKB hero basically made him useless in dealing DPS , try to cast it on a hero without MKB , manta or bkb
Brawler - Very impressive skill , evasion and crit 2 in 1 . Helps alot when you're out side your ulti . Make you last hit easier , and enable you to ignore mild harassment , therefore the priority of the skill come right next after clap.
Haze and brawler - Some viewers might be wondering , I am not maxing haze first , look at this mini comparison for brawler and haze
Haze and Brawler
One skill troubling opponent from farming
another one enable you to farm faster and easier
Which to choose ?
As I said earlier , Mangix can be very item independent or item dependent
Which mean in either way , he still contribute alot to the team .
But enabling him to farm up actually amplify his greatness and overall power more than any other hero who farm up as well during early to mid phase.
Take note that , his power degrade after his level 16.So make sure he has the chance and enough farm to unleashed every potential he has during his OWNING phase.Further more you need it to ignore mild harassment .
This implies brawler as a better choice .
Primal split - Level this whenever there is a chance , every level enchant your game play , which provide you big difference in the previous level .
These is a few things you have to be clear during primal split.
-Your hero continue regenerating during the ulti , degen from armlet as well
-Only earth panda carries aura
Ice frog have been putting some effort in buffing his skill
in the previous version , as now we can see panda now carry auras, crits and evasion buff , haze slow ratio buff .
Primal Split
When to use ?
LARGE team clashes
When you are about to die
Counter ganking
Reminder
1.Learn to estimate time left for ulti , and make sure you left enough time your ur self to retreat.
2.Recent cd buff to the earth panda's stun ,abuse it
3.Cause havoc in the clash , make your allies feel safe with you.
4.Always use all 3 of your pandas.
5.Learn the hotkeys for every panda.
6.Learn to use group select
7.Once fire panda is taken down , fighting is not a option anymore , unless there are some near death heroes close to you . If the duration left is still more than 50% , and you know its hard to escape
Do this
-enable earth panda to flee
-cyclone the one closest to earth panda
-use storm to block and do whatever to stop the oppoenet from hunting down your earth panda.
or
-Let the earth panda die
-Let the storm panda wind walk away
Skill usage
1.Cyclone the nuisance (stunner , or those whom will slow you down)
2.Stun the weakest unit , and take down him
3.Use dispel if necessary
4.Windwalk for extra damage
Basic combo
- Blink/Walk-in
- Cast Thunder Clap
- Cast haze on the carry
- Fight ! Till 50% of your remaining HP
- Primal Split
- Group Select Storm, Earth and Fire Panda
- Select Earth Panda and Cast Throw Boulder on enemy(earth panda is auto selected)
- Auto-attack all Pandas on stunned hero
- Select Storm Panda and cast Wind Walk and attack target hero
- Still alive? Repeat the steps in orange
- Killed ? proceed to the next prey.
- Finish the left overs in your original form
Item Build
Your first 603 gold
Now I'll introduce you the ultimate starting build that works on all melee heroes exclude those who cant carry QB
This build never goes wrong
It provide you with 20.6 bonus damage on creeps
and optimum survival.
Early game ( by 20 mins )
You should have completed these
For staff and phase boots enable you to gank and kill steal efficiently.
Bracer for extra stats and bonus damage
Mid game( by 40 mins )
If Things go well , You should have these
and
Late game
If the game still continue , these should be made
This build has a little aura stacking concept in it
Refresher is always a good choice during late game phase . Double ulti is scary.Aura from assult is your main source of powerup during your ulti , which grant you att speed , armor , -armor to opponent , therefore the armor problem for fire panda have been solved partially.Radiance DOT stacking with fire panda's immolation is painful.
As I stated before his power degrade as game proceeds , but what if he don't ? Which mean you're doing a great job stopping the enemy teams power from growing .
This is the build that you should follow , if things proceed perfectly .
Core Build
There is no reason for not getting this , as it stated before it boost your ulti by alot
Which to pick depends on how skilled you're.
Some player not necessary newbie , even pros have hard time positioning their hero for a good push from force staff , some might even have trouble estimating the distance , in this case you should get dagger to prevent further trouble
Actually, depending on the other team's own mobility, and the specifics of his playstyle, Force Staff can actually serve a better role than Blink. The range on his Clap is pretty huge, so Blink's distance isn't always necessary to land a good stomp, the item obviously scales better because of it's bonus int and dps, for starters.
Because of his Clap being a slow instead of a stun, the element of surprise offered by Blink isn't as useful. Yes, the spell is very dangerous if it impacts, but it doesn't decide a fight as readily a a full stun. In addition, the hero himself is extremely difficult to take down, lending him the survivability needed to wade into the thick of a fight, Clap and whack, and come out still standing.
These points lend him to a different kind of "initiation", which is more of a distraction than anything. A Panda in your midst is something to be concerned about, but can be difficult to stop even if you see him coming. If you're forced to make a choice between stopping him and handing initiative to the enemy team, or to ignore him and risk a crippling blow, it can put you in a position that's very difficult to escape from unscathed. In fact, it's arguably more powerful than the classic "blink-based stunner" hero.
In conclusion , force staff is the choice , if you could handle it
Well , I use to go for Pt , but after some of my observation and understandings , I move to phase .
The reason is Mangix is a hero which is very reliable on his mobility to enable him to land his skill properly , for example moving some distance ahead and cast ulti so that the prey stuck right between 3 of the pandas , enable him to lay clap easier , therefore phase is definitely a better choice , it provide a very good 24 bonus damage that contribute to last hitting further its slightly cheaper.
As opposite , PT which don't provide you with a active ms boost skill . 8 Str bonus is nothing compared to 24 damage boost . Some might think 8 int boost is a good idea to solve mana problems, that is no since , you're getting your force staff right after this .
Core extension
This is what you should get when you got perma bashed by enemy heroes . Just to make sure you can cast your ulti safely.
Extra movement speed also contribute alot to your game play
Overall stat boost is always welcomed.
Map controlling is the key to win in late game , get this when your gold have no place to spend on .
Panda carry auras now . A team of vampire panda is devasting .It provide bonus armor and bonus damage for your entire panda team as well ,extra armour helps fire panda from surviving .
I usually get this after my scepter .. if I sense the game ending soon and my side is winning , no point rushing assult , as i know the time left for me to farm isn't much
Situational Items
Fire Panda too squishy ?
Trouble farming up assult ?
Use this as a replacement
A boost from 0 to 2 armor is quite decent actually
Desperate situation seeks for desperate solutions
Well , just incase you're using clap for hardcore farming , get this .
Luxury Items
Stacking radiance burn with fire panda's immolation is great.
40 + 55 AOE DPS is painful to the entire team
I would say it is smartest to get this right after you complete your assult .
You need this
3 aura in an item just suit you too well..
It provide decent boost of attack speed and armor at the same time reducing the enemy team armor as well..turns you into a killing machine in no time .
Nobody wants to fight your Kungfu panda team twice , not even the great spectre would .
Anyway , refresher is always a choice .
In some cases where you really have to tank and take down tower and proceed straight for the throne , this is the item you need to do so .
Your hero continue regenerating during the ulti duration .
This made heart a choice .
Rejected items
Slows down your core , make you slightly stronger outside your ulti .
Wasting slot
I don't recommend this , rushing your core and luxuries is a better option
Seems good on a paper. Doesn't help to cast your skill properly .
Buying this for extra mana is not necessary, go for soul ring instead.
Since it is not aura based , so no . Offering is a better choice
Justification:
To understand how to building him , first you must understand what hero you're actually playing , as you can see all the items I get are mainly to contribute to the ulti .
I am doing this , because his ulti is way too devasting , his ulti can cause far more damage than the original hero alone can do ,therefore rushing DPS equipment on him is not a smart choice.
Rushing these
is better than rushing these
Mangix is not like other regular carries that rush for DPS items desperately .If you're doing so you're doing it very wrong ,there is no reason for you to play him if you do so.
Game Play
Early game
1.Step into either side lane , preferable with a mate with a nuke or disables and has a very bad attack animation , to maximize ganking and farm .
2.Block creeps and pull creeps to control the lane
3.Farm hard , but farm smart .Safety always comes first.
4.Completing phase at 5 mins indicate you're farming well
5.Don't roam , unless your lane are dying
6.Your normal hit is a harassing tools , abuse it .
7.And remember to kill steal
8.Upon reaching level 6 , approach for you kill.
9.Make sure you have enough mana for claps and split
10.Success rate of killing is very high .
Mid game
1.Participate in gank now , by using force staff
2.Remember this Gank 30% Farm 70%
3.Take down towers
4.Tower dive for kills
5.Got ganked ? Counter gank them
-Gank approach
-Claps
-Split
-Kill
Its important to learn how to estimate duration left for your ulti , learn when to retreat when your duration is running low .
-Screw up ?
-Force staff ASAP right after your ulti end
But you usually it wont screw up , as in early game , opponent are very squishy and should be take down very soon.
Late game
-Gank more often now
-Make sure you end the game quickly before your power degrade
-Organize team pushes
-Split to take down towers if necessary
