1. Hero's Story
Former cultist of the Blacksun, Lannik was among the first of many orcs enslaved by the wretched demons when the Legion's taint befell the lands of Kalimdor - a dire affliction that grew stronger over the years. Mannoroth's sudden and unexpected demise severed this Warlock's ties to demonology, and the absence of its corrupting influenced caused his body to wither onto the verge of death. In exchange for life beyond the grave, he bound a pact with the Lich King.
2. Hero's Introduction
Although the Warlock is a powerful support hero, his offensive capabilities should not be underestimated. With a strong physical attack and his Shadow Word ability, the Warlock is tough to beat early game. Shadow Word can be used either offensively to deal damage over time, or defensively to heal an ally. Thanks to this versatility, the Warlock can often be found supporting allies against difficult enemies, using his Shadow Word to heal his lane partner or harass an enemy hero. Later in the game the Warlock's other spells come into play. Fatal Bonds links enemy units together, causing them all to take extra damage when one is attacked. This spell is especially effective at increasing the potency of allied area of effect spells. Although somewhat difficult to use well, Upheaval can be a powerful skill in certain situations. If given time to channel, Upheaval is a potent slow with a large area of effect. The Warlock's primary strength, however, is summoning a powerful Infernal with his devastating Rain of Chaos spell. When cast, this ability drops a meteor on the target area of effect, stunning and damaging in a very large area, as well as summoning the powerful demonic Infernal. This ability makes the Warlock great for initiating battles. After being stunned and attacked by a massive Infernal, his foes will likely have little will left to fight.

4. Hero's Skills
- Fatal Bonds

Bonds several enemy units together, causing damage dealt to any of them to be partially felt by the others.
Level 1 - Bonds 2 units together.
Level 2 - Bonds 3 units together.
Level 3 - Bonds 4 units together.
Level 4 - Bonds 5 units together.

Cooldown: 30 seconds
Manacost: 120 mana
Description
Damage type: Hp removal
Description: Fatal bonds gets to be better when everyone is a higher level, and should be used when there are as few creeps around as possible, to maximize the damage in a team fight. It should also be remembered that if upheaval is ready, to use fatal bonds prior to anything else to maximize damage output.

- Shadow Word

A single word causes powerful magics to envelop the target. Creates a healing mechanism on a friendly target or damages an unfriendly one. Does not dispel on attack.
Level 1 - 10 hit points per second
Level 2 - 20 hit points per second
Level 3 - 30 hit points per second
Level 4 - 40 hit points per second

Cooldown: 24 seconds
Manacost: 90/110/130/150
Description:
Damage type : Magical
Units may be denied if they are affected by this ability when under 25% Hp.
I find that shadow word can allow for extended stay in a lane, help finish off an enemy hero, and can also give a unit a little bit more survivability when finishing up a tower.

- Upheaval

Stirs up inert magic in a target area, channeling the force into a powerful slowing current that grows more powerful with every passing second it's channeled. Can channel up to 10 seconds and up to 84% slow.
Level 1 - Slows by 7% per second
Level 2 - Slows by 14% per second
Level 3 - Slows by 21% per second
Level 4 - Slows by 28% per second

Cooldown: 65
Manacost: 100/110/120/130
Description:
The amount of slow is from the duration on channeling, not how long the unit was in the slow.
The slow lasts for 3 seconds after the unit exits the area of affect.
This move can completely change the tide of a battle, and if casted during the stun from rain of chaos, the affected units will be slowed by 28%. With a maximum slow of 84%, so a unit with 500 ms would have the minimum ms (100) after a few seconds of channeling.

- Rain of Chaos

Calls an Infernal down from the sky, dealing 100 damage and stunning nearby enemies for 1 second. The Infernal lasts 60 seconds, takes reduced damage from spells, has Permanent Immolation and a chance to Pulverize an area on attack.

Level 2 - Summons an Infernal with powerful attack
Level 3 - Summons an Infernal with deadly attack

Infernal should be used when pushing, but there are two different times to use it.
1. When you can probably take their team if they defend.
In this scenario, save inferno until the enemy team comes to stop your push.
2. When there is no way you can take their team.
You still have two choices, you could use the one second stun to help your team escape, OR you can use it on a creep wave and push like crazy.

Skill Build Justification:
The level one upheaval should be trained for the greatly increased ability to first blood. Shadow word is then trained for the lane survivability. At 3 you can train shadow word a second time if you are being severely harassed, but by level 6 you should have 3 levels of upheaval, 2 levels of shadow word, and 1 level of rain of chaos.
