Hero's Introduction
PotM is a very stable and versatile hero throughout the game and can serve as either support, semi-carry or sometimes, even a carry, for the team. She can stun enemies with her Elune's Arrow and she can damage enemies by calling down waves of stars with her Starfall. Other than skills which damage the enemies, PotM also has one of the greatest escaping/engaging skill in DotA. Leap. With correct usage of all her skills, PotM is one hero to fear.

Core items for PotM.[IMG][/IMG](Regardless Support, Semi-Carry or Carry)

**I will not go into the Support role because i see PotM best played as Semi-Carry or Carry**

Carry

Manta helps to increase your damage to enemies and make it easier to down towers or raxes.
Butterfly helps to increase PotM's dps while giving her evasion.
Etheral Blade works well when used as a combo with Starfall and especially when you have high agility.
Mjollnir helps you to return lightning damage to enemies when they hit you + damage when you shoot enemies. Makes it harder for you to die. You can use it on your ally too. (Tanker etc.)

In-depth explanation of skills
Starfall
Starfall has an AoE range of 625. The best way to use Starfall is to get as close to your enemy as possible with no creeps and use it because an additional starfall will land on random units with an AoE range of 175 with half the damage.
Additional Notes:
• Damage type: magical
• This spell is not blocked by Linken Sphere.

Elune's Arrow
This is one of the skills in DotA that requires much practice to make it hit with a high % ratio. Try to estimate where your enemies will be going and just shoot it. Overall, practice makes perfect. An arrow does not have to be aimed towards an enemy at all times, it can also be used to play 'mind games' with enemies because once they see your arrow zooming past, their first reaction is to retreat because they will think your team is preparing to ambush them and arrows can also be used to scout enemies when you are roshaning/hunting.
Additional Notes:
• Damage type: magical
• Invisible units will not be stunned, but will still take damage.
• -aa can be used to find out the accuracy of your arrows in game.
• Time limit of stun depends on the distance the arrow travels.

Leap
One of the greatest escape/engage skills in DotA. You can combo it with Arrow->Leap->Starfall to finish off an enemy or just leap to chase after enemies who are running away. Few people know that actually there's another great way to use Leap. When disablers such as Vengeful Spirit, Skeleton King or any other stuns with the animations flying towards you, you can dodge them with Leap. Just Leap when the animation is reaching you and you can dodge it + surprise the enemy by killing it. Of course, it takes practice too.

Moonlight Shadow
Nothing much to be said about this fantastic skill. Best assistance skill in DotA. By making your entire team go invisible, you can freely engage enemies or just escape from them. In the case where your team is escaping, pay attention to the "Fading time" of the skill and do not use it too late.
Addtional Notes:
• Units affected will not auto attack enemies.
• Magic immune allies will be affected.

How to play this hero
Early game
Take the middle lane if possible unless there are other more important heroes who need it. (Tinker/sf) Try to last hit and deny every creep possible and farm a bottle asap. With your bottle, now you can try roaming around to arrow enemies at top lane/bottom lane to get a kill or help your allies. If everything goes well, by 15min, you should have a bottle, 2 or 3 Wraith Bands, a Power Threads and a Magic Stick with money going on to your Yasha.

Middle game
It's time to balance farming and ganking. Gank when your team plans to and farm whenever there's an opportunity to prepare yourself as a Semi-Carry role or a Carry role for the team. If all goes well, you should be able to farm your manta at 20min, if not maximum 24min with a couple of kills/assists. Any other than 24min is not considered well done. After your Manta is out, it's time to down some towers with your allies and to kill some roaming/careless enemies. Leap to escape/chase and ulti to escape/engage.

Late game
It's time to show your enemies how painful your arrows are and how fast you can shoot! If all goes to plan, you should up your butterfly at 34min, if not max 36min with even more kills/assists. By this time, your creep waves should be terrorising your enemies. Engage your enemies in 5v5 battles and use your mjollnir on your team's tanker or the ally who is most concentrated on by the enemies. Use your Normal shots->Etheral Blade->Starfall combo to finish off a single enemy. Leap to chase after enemies, dodge stuns or to escape. Ulti for the same reason as middle game as well. Your team should be able to take down the game soon after your butterfly and Etheral Blade is up.
