MAN I USED TO TREAT SKOOL LIEK IT'S SRS BZNS AND WHILE I WAS AT IT, I USED PROPER SPELLING AND GRAMMAR. FUCK THAT MANG I WAS BITEN BY A DAMN SPIDER. SPIDERMAN DOESN'T HAVE A DAMN 10 PACK (PENIS MUSCLE FRIENDS, THAT'S RIGHT, PENIS MUSCLE) WHEN HE STARTS OUT BUT DAMN HE GETS ONE LATER. THIS STUDENT AIN'T PARTICULARLY QUICK EITHER, BUT ATLEAST HE'S THE NERD THAT PICK ON BECAUSE THEY JELLY OF HIS SMARTS.
SPIDERMAN DON'T REALLY GIVE A FUCK BEING THAT SHIT THO. THIS BITCH GETS CLEVER AS HE GETS SOME EXP BY FLYING AROUND NEW YORK CITY AND SLAYING HOES.
I: SKILLZ THAT KILLZ
THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING BITEN BY A SPIDER IS THAT YOU GAIN ABILITIES TO HEAL YOURSELF WHEN THE DEUCE YOU WANT TO. NOT TO MENTION THAT KILLING CIVILIANS WILL GET YOU SOME BLUE COCAINE INJECTIONS WHICH YOU CAN HEAL YOURSELF AGAIN. HOOK ME UP WITH SOME NEW EQUIPMENT FROM MAH FUTURE PIMPSUIT AND I'LL GET HIGH WHENEVER THE FUCK I WANT TO.
Death Pulse
The Necrolyte releases a wave of death from the core of his being, dealing damage to enemies and healing allies.

SPIDERMAN'S SAYINGS: CONSTANT HEALING BITCH. EVEN BETTER IS THE FACT THAT I CAN DO THIS IN A SMALL AREA AROUND ME. KEEPIN' MAH PIMP HAND STRONK. THEM HATERS GETTIN' MAD CUZ I'M STYLIN' ON THEM
II: SKILLS NEED FOR OFFENSIVE LANING AND OMNI-LANING
I have proposed the three skill builds that I have seen used most commonly in public games and in competitive games. The first one, is the one that I find best and most commonly used in public games. As far as competitive, I find that the pros like to mix it up. Skill Build III is a very unorthodox build, but my preferred build. I found it from one of ZSMJ's replays and I imagine he leveled the Aura because Death Pulse costs too much mana at low levels and because Sadist is useless without spells.

By taking a simple glance at all of the skill builds, one can see that Death Pulse should be maxed about before any of the other passives. That's because it makes Necrolyte what he is. Also, his ultimate should also be maxed out as soon as possible.
II: Item Build
I prefer this item build most of the time. The Ring of Protection allows you to transition into a Ring of Basilius quickly and the GG branches give those oh-so-lovely stats. The tangos provide healing from harassment and the salve helps you out when you need HP fast.
Alternatively, you could also settle for the item build below.
This item build sacrifices your salve for another set of tangos and another GG branch. I only suggest going with this build if you either A) Have a weak opposing lane or B) You can play cautiously and with discipline.Otherwise, I suggest you stick with the first starting item build.
III: Gameplay and the Three Stages of the Game
Remember, you are a support hero, not a carry. Your goal is to help out your team-mates, not rampage and kill all the other heroes. How do I do this? Simple. Spam that Death Pulse when opponents are nearby and when allies are nearby. By doing this, you and your team benefit a lot. You get SOME farm (don't steal from carry), your opponents get damaged, your allies get healed. There you go, 3 things done with 1 pulse.
IV: Friends and Enemies
More mana, more money.
More healing allows you to cast more Death Pulses. These allies love each other.
He Life Breaks, you cast Reaper's Scythe. The result? A kill.
V: Replays
Here are some replays of Necrolyte being played. Whether it's a winning or losing cause, these players played the role excellently.
WDC Semi-Finals: Nirvana.CN vs DTS
Zhou plays a great Necrolyte in this game. Support, farming, and denying are all great. He farmed a lot because he was the only semi-carry on his team, so there was no carry to take his farm.
WDC: LGD.sGty vs EHome
ZSMJ loses but he tries his best to fulfill his role. This match is a display of "Skill Build III". Decent items are also achieved.
SMM 2009 - Loser's Bracket Semifinals: FTD vs Kingsurf
One of my favorite replays; an amazing match and great play from both teams. Yamateh's Necrolyte is absolutely phenomenal.
VI: Until Next Time...
Well, the end of this guide is finally here! In a nutshell, keep supporting your team as Necrolyte. Provide heals when they're needed and try your best to not KS from your carry. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this guide, as I did spend hours on it. Rate, comment, and tell me how I can improve please!
