Well, this is my first guide about Slithice the Naga Siren.IMO she is one of the best Agility hero in DotA. Pardon me if there is any grammatical error but I just want to bring out the playing style I have on Naga Siren.

Introduction:


Slithice was always a vagabond among the Naga, roaming beyond the boundaries of the sea in search of new things. During her adventures she met and fell in love with a young Orc training to be a Blademaster. Though he was inexperienced he taught her many Orcish fighting tactics employed by seasoned warriors. During their courtship as she was learning how to make traps from a local raider, a swarm of Scourge came and invaded, and her love was killed before her very eyes. She used her Naga magics to put the evil to sleep and fled, and now gives her all to the Sentinel, in the name of her love.

Mirror Image

Confuses the enemy by summoning copies of Slithice, which can deal damage. Images take extra damage.

*This is the skill who makes Naga Siren a destructive carry.

Ensnare

Entraps an enemy unit in a net, rendering the unit unable to move.


*Your main disable skill, you need this skill to kill. Trust me, Heroes w/o escape mechanism(s) are unable to run away from you 99%.(Maybe they can run away for that 1% percentage.)

Critical Strike

Gives a chance to deal 1.5 times damage on an attack

*The powerful damage boost for your illu's as well as yourself.

Song of the Siren

Slithice sings a tempting song. Enemy units near her are put to sleep.

*One of the best ultimates in the game. This ulti was for many useful purposes. Your allies will love you because they can position themselves while you activate your ulti in the team clashes. Slithice becomes the best singer in DotA with this ultimate. Juz KIDDING!!!

Pros& Cons

PROS
-> Has Powerful Disabling Skill
-> Strong Late Game Presence
-> 2nd Best Movement Speed in the game
-> One of the heroes with best Illusions
-> Not too team dependent
-> Has Escape Mechanism
-> Can block deadly projectiles with 1st skill
-> Neither of her skills become deffective in the late game
-> Good Attack Animation

CONS
-> Quite weak early game
-> Long Cooldown Ultimate
-> Item dependent
-> Illusions are too weak to kill early game
-> Not that easy to master
-> Farming ability is just fair

You must not pick Slithice if:

Skill Justification:
You kill your enemy with your Mirror Imageskill, so obviously you need to max them ASAP, you also need Ensnare to stop your prey from fleeing away and kill them, leveling up this skill increases the duration and thus grant you an easier kill. Your damage and attack speed are not that good in the early game, so just leave Critical Strike for late game because the red number is going to be 3 digit or even 4 digit and occur very frequently. Slithice cannot afford that much mana to cast SotS but still, it can be taken to prevent needless bloodshed. There are still many alternative builds but this is my personal favourite build so don't condemn too much about them.

Item Build:
This is where the fate of Slithice is decided throughout the game b'cause ya're not gonna own with some pathetic and useless item.

Get Gauntlets if there are many spellcasters in the enemies' team for survival or Slippers to increase damage if you demand for more last hits.
