Tauren Chieftain has very nice early stats and gain, so Ironwood Branches should be enough. If you are laning against spammers or harrassers such as Undying, Windrunner or whatsoever, you need Tagnoes (2x), the Ring of Protection isn't meant to protect you, though it's part of the strategy. After you gained some money, you can buy the Sobi Mask in the shop at a side lane, which will fuse with Ring of Protection to Ring of Basilius. This will give you the ability to spam your Ancestral Spirit and provides you the ability of having the option to push or not to push. I suggest you to leave it (Normal) if you want to push. ONLY do that if your enemies aren't harrassing you. Whenever you are harrassed you should turn it to (Heroes). Spam so much until your enemies back off and end harrassing you, THEN turn it back to (Normal) as you have the chance to push.

NOTICE: If your laning partner already has basilius, I highly suggest you to give the Ring of Protection to your partner and only get Sobi Mask. This gives you more mana regeneration than having 2x Ring of Basilius on one lane, which don't stack.

Getting started for lane domination:

Explanation:

Now that you have the Ring of Basilius for spamming, you should get Ring of Regeneration, as it heights your lane domination. You can now stay longer at your lane without going back to heal. If you are still getting harrassed, get a second Ring of Regeneration, you can sell it later on.

Spamming = Enhanced Farming

Explanation:

Now that you have Perserverance you can spam as much as you want. Because you spam your Ancestral Spirit, you always get Bonus-Damage, which will enhance your farming. I suggest you to buy a Quelling Blade, which gets boosted from your Ancestral Spirit, which will boost your life-leech.

Why do you kill creeps if you can kill heroes?

Explanation:

Stop farming now. You have enough to gang or support other lanes. You need Vladmir's Offering for Pushing and lane domination, though it also stacks nicely with the Bonus-Damage you get from Ancestral Spirit.
