
Hero introduction:
A guardian of the ancient Nerubian Kingdom of Azjol-Nerub, Crixalis fled to the deserts of Kalimdor in an attempt to escape the genocide of the Lich King. The harsh climate transformed this warrior into a master of the earth, able to tear the skin off his foes with vicious sand storms. Those unfortunate o succumb to his potent toxins are condemned to violently burst apart in a cloud of noxious fumes. Sensing his growing power, the Lich King sought out Crixalis and, unable to sway him, slew him in battle. Summoned to aid the Undead Scourge, the heart of the Sentinel quivers each time the ground trembles beneath them.
NOTE: THIS GUIDE IS WRITTEN IN MOBILE. Instead of pictures, text will be used. I will replace them with pictures when i have the time. I will also edit the guide with bold words at important parts.
MY EXPERIENCE
I have played many pub games since 2008. I often use sand king. I dare say 80% of the time i win the game.
Pros
-Has a good pushing skill caustic finale.
-Has a tele-stun skill.
-Has a awesome ulti that does more damage then finger or laugna blade
-Pwns easily early game
Cons
-Low starting hp as strength hero(492)
-Mana problems during early game.
-Ulti can be canceled if disabled.
When to pick him?
-When you see paper heroes in your opponent team
-When you like painful ultimate, tele-stun and invisibility in one hero
-When you see low movement speed heroes in your opponent team.
Starting items:
-Clarity potions-3
-Corrier
-Tangoes-2
-Branches-3
Explanation: A very standard starting build. As you have mana problems, you need those clarity to heal yourself. Tangoes to heal your hp. Branches to increase your mana pool and help a bit in damage. These branches can be turned into a wand. Wand is useful as it gives some mana immediately. For example, you have 100 mana left. You need a last burrowstrike to kill this clinkz before his windwalk cooldown is over. You activate your wand and burrowstrike. Simple. Or grave situations. You know a spirit breaker is charging at you. You activate your wand, burrow strike at him when he is near you and blink away with your dagger. A courier prevents you from returning to base all the time, giving you more farm time.
Near mid game:
-Threads/arcane boots(will be explained)
-Dagger is you are farming well
So how do you choose your boots? Personally, i prefer threads as it is fexible. Turn it into strength for hp and int for mana. But for new players, i suggest arcane. They usually end up having mana problems and do not remember the fexibility of threads.
Mid game:
-Dagger(you can kill any paper/ low health remaining heroes easily)
-Dagon(explained)
-Agahim scepter
Explanation:
Dagger is for landing your ulti or blinking than burrowstrike. You must be thinking dagon is crap.. NOT TRUE.. Dagon is very useful. After exhausting your resources, that shadow fiend is left with 200hp. He uses lothar and woosh. You just wasted your ulti with 140 sec cooldown. A ward/dust/gem won't work if he has high movement speed. Dagon when he is stunned. You should not waste your ulti at all. But don't upgrade it. 1300 gold for extra 100 damage is STUPID. But if you have too much gold, upgrade it lategame. Agahim gives your ulti shorter cooldown and 2 extra pulse and extra hp and mp. Exactly what you need.
Late game:
Shiva guard
Guinsoo
Basically anything that helps your team
Explanation:
Its late game. I guess your opponents are too thick for you to kill with your ulti,dagon. This period, aim to kill anyone with low hp. Your ulti still help take down loads of hp. But not enough to kill. This period you can help by supporting your team.
